Fantastisk service på hotellet med meget imødekommende personale. Fantastisk morgenmad inklusiv kaffen. Hotellets velbeliggende Beach Club ligger et knap 1,5 km væk. Hotellet sørger for transport frem og tilbage hvis man ønsker det. Ellers en lille gåtur tilbage. Ved Beach Club er der også mulighed for at gå/løbe dejlige ture i nærliggende skov og strandområde. Sevilla ligger ca 1,5 time væk og er et besøg værd til en endagstur.

Tim was small but comfortable. Enjoyed the town and hotel. Their Beach Club closed at 5 which was a total bummer. I think they keep it open later doing the high season. It’s about a 10 min ride in their shuttle. 30 min by bike, which are available free of charge at the hotel. There’s a great bike riding area through a forest. Breakfast was lovely. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel with a Colonial feel. The Grand Beach Club was a Great surprise. Grand setting too and a Lovely restaurant. We will return soon.

The property is very nice and clean and breakfast was fantastic. The beach club is about a 3 minute drive, and is very peaceful. They close at 5pm, which is really early. The sun is still beaming until 8pm. It would have been nice to not feel rushed out of there, especially since there isn’t a ton of things to do in the evening. You basically are stationed at the hotel. The area needs more restaurants. Definitely a little sleepy of a town, but worth a night. We stayed two, and it was one too many. The shopping is great. Nice Portuguese pottery and other authentic items for cheap.

Must book, great location, staff were all great as nothing was to much trouble, hotel was clean and tidy, there was 2 terraces which we enjoyed a drink watching the sun going down before heading out for dinner, the beach club is a nice 2km stroll from the hotel, and just €3-5 euro to get a taxi back if you don't want to walk, The beach club is such a wonderful place and we spent 2 days of complete relaxation on our 4 night stay so well worth the visit, the hotel staff booked our sunbeds and the food at the beach club is very nice as well. on our last night we enjoyed some cocktails in the hotel bar that were mixed up by one of the staff and highly recommend the Mai Tai

Il Grand House è davvero un posto piacevolissimo, un hotel storico e una vera oasi di buon gusto. Da quest'anno c'è una nuova gestione e, innegabilmente, qualcosa è cambiato. Nella precedente gestione ogni dettaglio, dalle camere alla reception, all'esperienza del beach club, appariva perfetto, con una cura spasmodica che giustificava anche il prezzo. Oggi alcune di queste cose sono sparite, mentre il costo della camera è rimasto invariato. Scrivo tutto questo soprattutto per gli estimatori della precedente gestione: oggi per andare al beach club si chiama un taxi e il servizio di trasporto non è più gratuito. Imoortantissimo: oggi il beach club chiude il lunedi. Tenetene conto nella prenotazione.

Simply top notch! Definitely five star attention to detail in a beautiful historic house. Breakfast selection was excellent quality and a wide variety of options. The Beach Club was a pleasurable way to spend several hours. Poolside food & bar service was attentive and menu items we tried were delicious.

Tive uma estadia maravilhosa! Todos os funcionários são fantásticos, a decoração é lindíssima e de grande qualidade, os quartos são muito acolhedores. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. As bebidas do bar são realmente ÓPTIMAS e o bar em si tem um ambiente excelente. O pessoal da recepção foi extremamente prestável antes, durante e depois da minha estadia. Normalmente, o Wi-Fi é um ponto fraco na maioria dos hotéis, mas no Bordoy funcionou perfeitamente e nunca caiu. Com certeza voltarei!

Sadly there was no wifi or television during our stay, apart from the first few hours. This has been an ongoing issue at this hotel apparently which they can’t seem to rectify. We had to check out 2 nights early as we had so much work we needed to do and without wifi it was impossible. I haven’t heard back from the hotel about a reimbursement for this yet either.

Excellent staff hotel facilities were value for money but the cooked breakfast was bland English breakfast on first day was cold and the egg seemed to have been reconstituted Omelette on day 2 the same bland egg Room upgrade was really appreciated with probably the best view from the hotel Must question the cost of breakfast as we were charged £25 on line but only 18 Euro at the hotel Ripped off by Hotels.com

We only stayed one night but we loved everything about Grand House! Such a beautiful and unique boutique hotel. The rooms are cozy and inviting, and the beds very comfortable with nice linens. The staff at the beach club and restaurant was excellent and very accommodating. A must-stop on your Algarve trip!

Our stay was okay overall, but there were a few areas that could be improved. We had booked a suite, but the room felt quite small. There was limited space for hanging wet towels, and the wooden sink design made it difficult to wash without water splashing everywhere. The shower was right next to the bed with no place to hang towels, and the wardrobe was quite small for two people. We also noticed that the bathroom amenities were not refilled daily, which was inconvenient. The outdoor pool was located at another property, which we didn’t mind, but unfortunately when we visited there was a photoshoot taking place with photographers and models as there was no warning from hotel or the pool staff. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy the facilities. Overall, while the hotel was okay, these issues meant the experience wasn’t as comfortable as we had hoped, so we wouldn’t choose to stay again.

This property was very disappointing on many fronts. First, the room was fine and clean, but despite that we had booked a suite, it was very small, and the bathroom was extremely small for a suite. The shower stall had a major flaw in that the shower head did not come out far enough from the wall, so you had to lean against the wall to get your head wet. They also had large glass dispensers in the shower for shampoo and conditioner, which is extremely dangerous. We were so worried we would drop them as they were just sitting on a glass shelf. Our biggest complaint was about the bar service or lack thereof. There are only two tables in the bar, plus the living room which only seats 4 people, so it was not an issue of too busy. The bartender had no idea what he was doing

Must book, great location, staff were all great as nothing was to much trouble, hotel was clean and tidy, there was 2 terraces which we enjoyed a drink watching the sun going down before heading out for dinner, the beach club is a nice 2km stroll from the hotel, and just €3-5 euro to get a taxi back if you don't want to walk, The beach club is such a wonderful place and we spent 2 days of complete relaxation on our 4 night stay so well worth the visit, the hotel staff booked our sunbeds and the food at the beach club is very nice as well. on our last night we enjoyed some cocktails in the hotel bar that were mixed up by one of the staff and highly recommend the Mai Tai

Tim was small but comfortable. Enjoyed the town and hotel. Their Beach Club closed at 5 which was a total bummer. I think they keep it open later doing the high season. It’s about a 10 min ride in their shuttle. 30 min by bike, which are available free of charge at the hotel. There’s a great bike riding area through a forest. Breakfast was lovely. Staff was very kind and helpful.

The property is very nice and clean and breakfast was fantastic. The beach club is about a 3 minute drive, and is very peaceful. They close at 5pm, which is really early. The sun is still beaming until 8pm. It would have been nice to not feel rushed out of there, especially since there isn’t a ton of things to do in the evening. You basically are stationed at the hotel. The area needs more restaurants. Definitely a little sleepy of a town, but worth a night. We stayed two, and it was one too many. The shopping is great. Nice Portuguese pottery and other authentic items for cheap.

Fabulous property and wonderful helpful staff. The hotel is beautifully appointed as is everything you’d except from a chateaux & relais property. We would definitely return. The only downside was that the hotel was not serving dinner in the lovely dining room. However they did serve snacks and had a full bar.

Top notch service. Breakfast was outstanding. Food at the Beach Club also excellent. Would highly recommend. Caution: if using a US credit card be warned they forced us to pay in US dollars instead of euros, thus paying a higher exchange rate that someone made money from - and they told us that we were charged in euros although the receipts said otherwise. We were not offered the machine to process payments - the employee did it.

Simply top notch! Definitely five star attention to detail in a beautiful historic house. Breakfast selection was excellent quality and a wide variety of options. Love old nostalgic hotel with charm on the waterfront. Staff were so very helpful with advice on the hotel & local restaurants etc. The outside pool is 2km away & is smaller than most . Would benefit from a changing room . But the location more than made up for this. A wonderful stay & will be returning so.

Delightful stay at Bordoy Grand House, very much recommended! The hotel is a boutique gem, so full of character, the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was superb. We wanted to stay somewhere special and memorable, and this was just that.
