The sink in the main bathroom was leaking quite badly underneath. I reported this to the front desk and showed the man there a photo of the water gushing out. He said he would tell maintenance that there was a problem in the athroim. He didn't listen to what I told him and didn't like at the photo. The Toilet spray hose was also leaking and I explained this too. The leaks ever got fixed. I also complained about lots of tiny fruit flies which seemed to congregate in the kitchen sink area. I used a whole can of fly spray over the week but theyvstilll kept coming. The room housekeeper never replaced the coffee sachets and I bought a jar of coffee. The floor was also not very clean, my feet were grubby after walking around in the evenings. I did like the overlay hotel, it's location and the idea from the rooftop bar were amazing . It just needs a little bit of attention to detail

Quite old, poor breakfast, garage access and not convenient. Most of the staff is friendly and the room I got was very big (more like a service apartment). I got a kitchen but no cutleries.

They were very attentive to our needs. There are privacy buttons to leave you alone if desired. They have a tour guide area if you need tickets for any attractions. The restaurant is also wonderful. The staff will go above and beyond for you.

I would have given a much higher vote if jij t weren't for the penetrating sound of loud music from the nightclub, always starting around 01.00 am... Personnel very available. Apartment very comfortable and clean. Only missing were kitchen towels and detergent if you did your own cooking in the kitchenette. Many restaurants around, 15 min.walk to the RedLine metro station.

Wir hatten im Voraus um einen Early-Check-In gebeten, der auch tatsächlich möglich gemacht wurde. Das war ein sehr guter Service. Unser Zimmer, das tatsächlich ein großes Apartment war, gefiel uns sehr gut: Ein riesiges Schlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Bad bot auch viel Stauraum. Das Wohnzimmer, mit großer Sitzgarnitur und großer Küchenzeile. Ein zweites Badezimmer. Alles perfekt und sauber. Die Aussicht ging auf den Dubai Creek, was besonders bei Dunkelheit ein schöner Ausblick war. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr abwechslungsreich und bot für jeden Geschmack eine gute Auswahl. Eiergerichte wurden direkt im Restaurant zubereitet. Hier wie im gesamten Haus war das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral, trotzdem war es ausgesprochen ruhig. Die weiteren Annehmlichkeiten haben wir leider nicht in Anspruch genommen. Sehr empfehlenswert und wir werden auf unserer Urlaubsrückreise dort bestimmt wieder Station machen.

The stay was good. Only problem I had is the house keeping needs to check for toilet paper coz once we came evening after visiting and there was no toilet paper at all and once its more than half used please keep the other full toilet paper. Other than that it was good. The staff members were friendly and respectful.

Riza at the front desk was great as usual. But the property is in need of a bit of renovation. Bathroom tap was leaking and air conditioning need to be checked as cigarette smoke smell was coming through. Also there were a lot of small fruit flies in the kitchen area in the room.

I expected an upscale hotel, but unfortunately, it was not the case. Specially the cleaning level as well as the shower and bathrooms. Definitely there is room for improvement

Location is great. Lobby is a big wow (worthy of 4 stars). Room is good, but there are lots of noticeable imperfections (shower floor sloped to drain out of shower instead of into drain, scuffed paint, badly installed tile, strong smell of tobacco smoke in public areas). And there is a lack of some basic supplies - no wash cloth, no dish soap, no kitchen towels, no hair conditioner. I know this review is detailed, but I expect a 4 star hotel to be a wow in the lobby & everywhere else inside the hotel. However, I want to give VERY HIGH PRAISE for the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional.

The good thing I liked about this room is that it was very spacious. I felt like I had a mini apartment and that was such a good feeling to have so much space. The bad thing that made it where I would never stay here again is that it was very dirty upon entry. We had to ask somebody to come in and clean it again because the floors had stains the sofa head stained things were not cleaned. They seem to have limited staffing to clean the entire hotel. I think that is why things are not being cleaned properly because you can’t ask limited staffing to do such a huge hotel.This is an older hotel and it shows if you look at the carpet throughout the hotel in the hallways, you’ll see that there are stains everywhere and paint chipping away. I would not stay here again.

We requested a room with three single beds, and booked a large room, as they didnt have the room available the hotel downgrated us to a room which has two single beds and put a sofa bed in. The room clearly was not maintained, The shampoo and shower gel was empty and when requested to have it topped up, although they agreed, no one came to do it. (Throughout the whole stay) We also requested additional towels and water bottles, as there were three guests, these arrived the next day. Overall thought the hotel was pleasent but customer service was poor.

We were impressed by this hotel. We didn’t realize we booked a suite and the room was massive and had a nice kitchen area and two bathrooms. One bathroom was phenomenal with the biggest bath tub I have ever seen. It is a good location being a short walk to the water, gold souk and a metro station.

Absolutely love the hospitality and the actual hotel. We were lucky to get a free upgrade which we were so grateful for as we were there for 14 nights! Suite was so massive and the view from the windows were stunning. Walking distance from Metro station. Totally recommend.

This place is aged and generally feels like someone maximizing return on investment. If you need a place to stay for a night and get a good price then okay but not for extended stays. The team are friendly and helpful which is much appreciated. The breakfast pastries and jams were inedible (ie my kids rather left than eat even basics like jam and bread), water was not hot and bedding synthetic. Our main issue was online we booked rooms advertised with two king beds- they don’t have such rooms which meant we couldn’t properly accommodate our family which was an obvious issue / disappointment.

Apartment very comfortable and clean. Only missing were kitchen towels and detergent if you did your own cooking in the kitchenette. Many restaurants around, 15 min.walk to the RedLine metro station.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einer großen Lobby. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und das Einchecken ging schnell und problemlos. Wir hatten im Voraus um einen Early-Check-In gebeten, der auch tatsächlich möglich gemacht wurde. Das war ein sehr guter Service. Unser Zimmer, das tatsächlich ein großes Apartment war, gefiel uns sehr gut: Ein riesiges Schlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Bad bot auch viel Stauraum. Das Wohnzimmer, mit großer Sitzgarnitur und großer Küchenzeile. Ein zweites Badezimmer. Alles perfekt und sauber. Die Aussicht ging auf den Dubai Creek, was besonders bei Dunkelheit ein schöner Ausblick war. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr abwechslungsreich und bot für jeden Geschmack eine gute Auswahl. Eiergerichte wurden direkt im Restaurant zubereitet. Hier wie im gesamten Haus war das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral, trotzdem war es ausgesprochen ruhig. We requested a room with three single beds, and booked a large room, as they didnt have the room available the hotel downgrated us to a room which has two single beds and put a sofa bed in. The room clearly was not maintained, The shampoo and shower gel was empty and when requested to have it topped up, although they agreed, no one came to do it. (Throughout the whole stay) We also requested additional towels and water bottles, as there were three guests, these arrived the next day. Overall thought the hotel was pleasent but customer service was poor.

The sink in the main bathroom was leaking quite badly underneath. I reported this to the front desk and showed the man there a photo of the water gushing out. He said he would tell maintenance that there was a problem in the athroim. He didn't listen to what I told him and didn't like at the photo. The Toilet spray hose was also leaking and I explained this too. The leaks ever got fixed. I also complained about lots of tiny fruit flies which seemed to congregate in the kitchen sink area. I used a whole can of fly spray over the week but theyvstilll kept coming. The room housekeeper never replaced the coffee sachets and I bought a jar of coffee. The floor was also not very clean, my feet were grubby after walking around in the evenings. I did like the overlay hotel, it's location and the idea from the rooftop bar were amazing . It just needs a little bit of attention to detail

Since our last visit to Dubai and stay at Carlton Dubai Creek (4 times), seems like the service at the hotel has be seriously degraded! Sad but true. The bathroom in our room had the shower cubicle leaking badly? Also some of the staff members are somewhat unfriendly and seemed aggressive with there response to our reports of issues with the room. However, some staff members were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we won't be staying there for our next visit to Dubai.

They were very attentive to our needs. There are privacy buttons to leave you alone if desired. They have a tour guide area if you need tickets for any attractions. The restaurant is also wonderful. The staff will go above and beyond for you.

We were impressed by this hotel. We didn’t realize we booked a suite and the room was massive and had a nice kitchen area and two bathrooms. One bathroom was phenomenal with the biggest bath tub I have ever seen. It is a good location being a short walk to the water, gold souk and a metro station.

Absolutely love the hospitality and the actual hotel. We were lucky to get a free upgrade which we were so grateful for as we were there for 14 nights! Suite was so massive and the view from the windows were stunning. Walking distance from Metro station. Totally recommend.

The accessories were absent. Like no Iron & board, no hangers, no slippers, no tooth brush kits. You have to ask for everything. Service staff woke me up past midnight to get back iron & board. Very basic breakfast. Rest rooms were clean and staff was very courteous.

This place is aged and generally feels like someone maximizing return on investment. If you need a place to stay for a night and get a good price then okay but not for extended stays. The team are friendly and helpful which is much appreciated. The breakfast pastries and jams were inedible (ie my kids rather left than eat even basics like jam and bread), water was not hot and bedding synthetic. Our main issue was online we booked rooms advertised with two king beds- they don’t have such rooms which meant we couldn’t properly accommodate our family which was an obvious issue / disappointment.
