Vienna Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong

Very nice and central located hotel in Chongqing. Hotel is on walking distance to subway station and Liberation Monument. Hotel has very friendly staff and good fitness facilities. Unfortunately no one of the reception staff speaks English. It will take some time to communicate with the front desk. The hotel rooms are clean and nice decorated. Washing machines and dryers can be found in the fitness room and are free to use. Hotel can be hard to find as it has reception desk on the highest floor of the building.

Couldnt of asked for a better stay. Clean room, friendly staff, great location, free washing machine to use. Was great and would stay again

Pro: - staff was nice - central location and walkable to all the key sites - affordable for a decent room Con: - this hotel shares with 10 other "boutique" hotels. Very busy lobby and waiting for elevators takes forever - shower floods and doesn't drain properly - smelled smokey during my stay For the price, it's decent for the location and for a "4 star" hotel. However, there's other hotels at a similar price point and has their own lobby and not sharing with 10 other boutiques.

Great hotel set in centre of Chongqing. Easy walk to the square and shopping areas, easy drive via DiDi to waterfront and other visitor spots. Rooms are spacious with good bathroom size. Very well stocked amenities, slippers and bathrobes. SSAW also is very unique in providing free footbath in your room (on order), free self washing and drying on level 21 and tea service. A great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Only comment would be to provide better information to guests prior to arrival about the location of the SSAW hotel as it is based in big building which hosts other hotels in other floors.
