Check in was messy but got sorted and an extra fee drink in the bar soothed the minor frustration. Staff were friendly. Room was big and comfy. Parking was limited so get in quick and finding the place was odd as it's set back off the road. Bistro meal was very good value though having my main arrive when I'd barely started my entree seemed odd. A busy but vibrant pub - it was Father's Day. Central and near shops and the manager had good advice about things to do.

The room was clean and good value for what you pay. The pool was great needed abit of a clean but considering all the storms at this time maybe why it was not at its best. Eventhough the pool was still a beautiful time to spend your arvo in as it was nice and warm. The location of the place is amazing, everything is in walking distance. Highly recommend to stay here.

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed was very comfortable, and close to where I had to be, I plan to stay again next time I’m in town, the only thing that let the room down was the carpet was stained and needed professional cleaning and mould in the shower.

The room was cleaner & more comfortable than a well known resort I have stayed at. There were however some minor maintenance issues evident (old carpet stains, cracked shower floor tile, small rust spot in bathroom) but they did not detract from the comfort of the room. Overall a good stay and very short walk to the shopping centre & other shops, short drive to beach.

It’s set back from the main road so traffic noise wasn’t an issue, however, my room was close to the outdoor area for the sports bar so could hear noisy Friday night patrons, even with the patio doors closed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

In my experience at most hotels, if you have a problem with the internet, the staff usually kind of shrug. Not Renata and Bela. They swung into action identifying the problem and then ended up moving us to be to a closer router. They really went above and beyond in my estimation and saved what could have been a disappointing stay. Thanks to them both. On top of that the rooms here are good sized, spic and span and well equipped.

We stayed one night before running the marathon so stay was short. We were right next to the beer garden so was loud when trying to sleep. Had we been there for another reason it probably wouldn’t have been an issue. Really nice to get a free welcome drink voucher. That was very cool and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff n service excellent. Food was delivered quickly and portions were on point. We dined in and had room service delivery, both times service was excellent. Housekeeping team were very friendly and my g/ daughters stuffed toys were nicely placed after our room was serviced each day.

After hours number rang out for close to 2 hours, we were left stranded. No note to direct people to bar for check in. Manager offered no apology or empathy, just an excuse of being busy in the bar. Had people walking past room to pub and car park so really noisy. Room itself clean and bed comfy so if you check in during business hours and can sleep through noise, an affordable option.

Perfect location for my needs, late check-in was handled well by very pleasant staff member. The room was clean, well presented, lovely new bed with well laundered bed linen and towels, the room seems to be nicely updated. I have stayed here before and would not hesitate to stay again, very happy with my time here.

Receptionist was agresssive when questioned regarding secure parking and use of a hotel trolley - parking was outside in the general area and the only trolley's were from Dan Murphy's adjacent - we were misled No face washers, only one hand towel, no tissues, the bathroom door stop was a steel post which banged against the glass door to the shower - rather dangerous! Once bitten, twice shy - never again

Perfect for our three night stay. We ate at the hotel each night. Meals and service were great. Just disappointed in our meal on the third night but would not hesitate to go back. Location was perfect. Room was good size. Bed very comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

No complaints about the staff.. all friendly. However the house maids ,although friendly, managed to throw out some personal items. If you score a room closest to the pub area, it can be very noisy, even with your balcony door shut. And the constant slamming of the gate near the main reception area is very annoying. The pool only gets cleaned somewhat just once a week. The food at the restaurant was dry and overcooked.
