Nicely finished comfortable and spacious room with balcony. Fresh and newly completed. Beautiful spa. Children’s play area. Restaurant very good. Good location for those travelling by car as easy access to and from autoroute while feeling in countryside location.

Our first time staying there on an overnight stop. Very easy to find off the A5 to or from Calais. The check-in was easy, helpful staff in reception and restaurant. Excellent meal. Spa/Pool if you need a swim or more. The rooms are a chalet style arrangement around the grounds.

We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards. Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable). During 2025 there are building works progressing toward enlargement of the restaurant and reception. The work isn’t at all disruptive or intrusive, particularly for rooms further away. If the end result enhances the bar area that will be a great improvement, as the existing bar facilities are about the only thing that let the place down currently. We haven’t used the spa but it looks good. Finally, credit must be given to famille Marisy (and particularly to Mme, who apparently never sleeps) who work tirelessly for the comfort of their guests. It’s really good to see a family business thriving in this ever increasingly conglomerate dominated industry.

Brilliant hotel, conveniently situated just off the motorway. Lovely dinner & very friendly helpful staff. Our particular room was small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Everything spotlessly clean. The mattresses were a little bit hard & uncomfortable, but that was the only negative.

This hotel is very well located, just off the motorway for those driving through France, but set amongst fields so very quiet and safe. The rooms are very clean, there is lots of parking and although I could not have dinner there as we arrived too late, I have heard from family that the food is great. I can vouch for the tasty breakfast however. Will definitely visit again !

Le Val Moret is in an ideal location for a stopover and it was convenient to be able to park our car adjacent to the bedroom block. The room was comfortable, functional and, importantly, very clean. The cuisine at the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed a high quality dinner and a good breakfast to send us on our way.

Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice. The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is excellent, flavours well balanced and varied. Desserts are always amazing. The waiting staff are professional and attentive. This restaurant punches well above its weight. Always have Champagne with your meal.

Lovely one night stop over ! Very friendly and helpful staff in every way. We had a premium room with balcony. Very spacious room and balcony. Car parking right out side the room. Very convenient to the motorway. Lovely well kept grounds. Will definitely return next year.

Our first time staying there on an overnight stop. Very easy to find off the A5 to or from Calais. The check-in was easy, helpful staff in reception and restaurant. Excellent meal. Spa/Pool if you need a swim or more. The rooms are a chalet style arrangement around the grounds.

Personal teilweise sehr freundlich und kompetent, teilweise eher nicht so gut - insbesondere der Frühstücksservice. Das Frühstück war Abzocke - passend für die vielen Briten. Wir haben Besseres und günstigeres Frühstück in zwei-Sterne Hotels in Saumur und Chenonceaux bekommen.

Some rooms are of a motel type in blocks around the main building. Ours was compact but had everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Staff were very professional attentive and friendly. Loved having a glass of champagne on the terrace.

Mooi luxe hotel met aparte kamers met eigen buitendeur, soort appartementen maar dan zonder keuken. Heel fraai gelegen met pracht uitzicht. Vlak bij de snelweg, ideaal voor doorreis. Bevat ook een spa, maar we kwamen maar voor 1 nacht op doorreis dus niet bekeken. Ontbijt prima, diner wat te ambitieus en vrij duur. De gerechten waren kunstzinnig samengesteld maar niet echt onze smaak.

This hotel is very well located, just off the motorway for those driving through France, but set amongst fields so very quiet and safe. The rooms are very clean, there is lots of parking and although I could not have dinner there as we arrived too late, I have heard from family that the food is great. I can vouch for the tasty breakfast however. Will definitely visit again !

A one night stay on our way down to southern France had us wishing we'd booked for two nights! Excellent value room, really well appointed, but the star turn was the restaurant, which served up a series of wonderful dishes that we all savoured. Will be back!

Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice. The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is excellent, flavours well balanced and varied. Desserts are always amazing. The waiting staff are professional and attentive. This restaurant punches well above its weight. Always have Champagne with your meal.

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, groß und ein sehr gutes breites Bett. Balkon in die Landschaft. Direktes Parken vor dem Zimmer. Ruhig gelegen. Im Bad ist eine Eckbadewanne mit hohem Einstieg, eine Handbrause ohne Halterung. Sehr unkomfortabel. Das Abendessen, na ja aber stolze Preise. Frühstück überhaupt nicht gut.

We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards. Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable). During 2025 there are building works progressing toward enlargement of the restaurant and reception. The work isn’t at all disruptive or intrusive, particularly for rooms further away. If the end result enhances the bar area that will be a great improvement, as the existing bar facilities are about the only thing that let the place down currently. We haven’t used the spa but it looks good. Finally, credit must be given to famille Marisy (and particularly to Mme, who apparently never sleeps) who work tirelessly for the comfort of their guests. It’s really good to see a family business thriving in this ever increasingly conglomerate dominated industry.

We last stayed here two years ago, having stayed a couple of times before that. We were very impressed with the investment the hotel has made in improving its reception area and restaurant. Our premium room was spotlessly clean and ideal for our overnight stay with the car parked outside. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. as were the staff. We wished we could have stayed longer. Ahighly recommended Logis Hotel.
