Avoca Beach Hotel

Reception was good & helpful. Unfortunately the place was not. It is very run down & terrible to navigate. We took a Terrace (at the top of the mountain) road is horrendous even to drive. No way at our age could we walk back up it from the bottom. The outside of the apartment was grotty and the balconies require cleaning & repainting, the grounds surrounding are overgrown. The inside was reasonably presentable but Musty smell on entering which cleared with venting, air conditioner was good. Recommend a Villa at the bottom and closer to the road if anything. Facilities (Pub & cafe) were good though. Can't believe they can charge $338 for what we got.

Really good price and very clean The room had everything you need and very spacious The outlook onto the bushland was lovely sbd the kookaburras an added bonus Good accommodation with hotel close by and only short trip to the beach and shops

Older but clean. Staff very accommodating and friendly. People with mobility issues need to check where they are put. Steep sites. Steps down to rooms need upgrade. Very small treads and very steep. Facilities and surrounds well maintained. Lovely bush setting.
