Don’t expect to use the hotel pool. It was a complete farce. Two days before arrival we were told they had changed policy and if, on arrival, they could find us a slot by the pool for us, there would be a EUR50 to 100 minimum charge per person. Policies like this should not change after you’ve booked and where they advertise a pool, and there was constant agro with the staff there. Service was super slow too. I’ve stayed at most of the Hoxtons and this was a let down.

Incredibly good hotel for dog owners! Dogs stay for free! Super friendly staff. The hotel is very cool and very clean. Nice rooftop area. Parking was also free. We travel a lot and have seen a lot of hotels; I would give the Hoxton 11+/10 if it were possible.

I really enjoyed my stay! The staff was incredibly helpful. They seemed shortstaffed in the restaurant, so that was a little challenging at times. You could have an espresso and croissant in the morning at the lobby bar, which was handy. The entire design and decor of this hotel is fabulous. It’s very hip and Eclectic. Getting a cab was never a problem. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing and photo worthy. My only disappointment was that the pool is extremely small and you have to reserve or pay for any kind of seating. There was absolutely none available when I was there for five days in September. From my experience, I would say this property really attracts a very young traveler.

We liked the hotel. Staff was great, friendly & helpful. Room was clean, quiet. Pool was closed for an event. Next day it closed for weather. Elevators had some issues, but not a big deal. We would stay there again.

Hotel fighissimo, camera stupenda e letto super comodo. La struttura è poco centrale ma vicina a diversi mezzi di trasporto (tram e metro). L'unica nota negativa è la piscina a pagamento: 40 euro per poterla usare un paio d'ore.

Fantastic location and staff and breakfast were great. Very clean and very walkable to beach, rambla etc. away from crowds but still bustling with locals. Would stay again! Great view from rooftop patio too!

Ich habe diese Unterkunft wirklich ins Herz geschlossen!! Alle Räume, selbst Treppenhäuser und Co. sind mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Auch das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mir hat besonders gut gefallen, dass das Hoxton entspannten Urlaub mit Cocktails am Pool und aufregenden Citytrip verbindet. Ich war fast nur mit dem ÖPNV unterwegs und da ist das Hotel super angebunden. Nur zum Strand waren die Verbindungen relativ langwierig. Hier würde ich empfehlen euch kostenlos ein Fahrrad auszuleihen, mit dem man schon in 10-15 Minuten am Strand ist. Generell gab es viele Annehmlichkeiten, die ich aus anderen Hotels meist nur gegen Aufpreis kannte (z. B. Tiefgaragenstellplatz ohne Reservierung, Wasser aus der Minibar, Fahrradverleih). Für den Pool muss man in der Regel Liegen reservieren und vor Ort ein Verpflegungspaket dazu buchen, was ich so noch nie gehört hatte. Ich habe beim Check-in aber eine Art Gutschein bekommen, mit dem ich an einem Tag kostenlos eine Liege nutzen konnte, was ich wirklich nett fand. Allerdings weiß ich nicht, ob es das nur als Aktion gab. Das Frühstück war auch toll, nicht zu überladen, aber trotzdem von allem was dabei. Kaffeespezialitäten kann man sich kostenlos dazu bestellen. Ich hatte das Frühstück nicht im Vorfeld mit gebucht, wo es 25€/Tag gekostet hätte. Vor Ort gab es das Frühstück als Aktion dann für 15€/Tag. Es kann sich also wohl lohnen erst dort zu buchen. Ein rundum fantastischer Urlaub!

This is a stylish hotel. We had a very pleasant day. The rooftop pool and cabanas are lovely. The hotel is located in a more modern part of the city with easy access to a shopping mall. It is a 20 to 40 minute walk from mini of the iconic Barcelona locations. We did not have any trouble walking or using taxis.

Lovely hotel. It's not central but the areas around were cool. Could walk to the beach in less than 30 mins. Rooftop and pool very small, looked different to photos, wasn't setup for use. Hotel room was lovely and has all amenities. Staff were helpful and lovely. Communal areas didn't seem to have air con it was quite hot. Would stay again though and the downstairs and bar areas were really buzzy and nice

They never cleaned my room during my 3 nights stay. I’ve been asking for it everyday at the reception, asking specifically for a refill of coffee that they never gave me - just water and towels. Considering the price the experience was below average.

初日に18時過ぎに到着したのに部屋がまだ準備できていないとのことで10分以上待たされた。 シャワーヘッドが壊れていて蛇口をひねったら飛んできた。（こちらはフロントで訴えたら仕事で外出中に直されていた） 冷蔵庫の中に缶の水と紙パックのミルクがありフリーとのことで、備え付けのドリップコーヒーでカフェオレを作ろうと思ったらミルクは前の滞在者の飲み残しらしくふたがあいていた。。。知らずに取り出すときに床にこぼして掃除をするはめになった。 3日目に仕事を終えて18時過ぎに戻ってきたら部屋のドアがあいている！まだ掃除がされていず、タオルのみ交換してもらった。 決して作り話ではなく、たった3泊でここまで経験するのは珍しい。 ただスタッフはフレンドリーで英語もよく通じた。

Pros: Great location: next to a big Westfield so easy to locate. Near a metro line and tram line. Safe area, quiet. Clean, room and main areas kept clean, great decor. Bathroom had a damp smell and needed a vent which was odd that it didn’t have one. Had a Biggie room as three of us were staying so a queen and sofa bed - both relatively comfortable. Cons Check in / front desk service was always so poor, huge queues, room wasn’t ready way past check in time. No regulation and lifts were always a delay or issue using -honestly this put a downer on the whole stay. As mentioned booked for 3 but room wasn’t set up, had to call twice for the sofa bed to bed up properly, 2 cups /glasses / towels provided only - these little details should be taken in consideration for such a high end hotel where you’ve paid a lot of money.

El hotel podria ser mucho mejor si el personal fuera más gentil. Es como si ser cool les impidiera ser amables. Salvo excepciones. El servicio de limpieza fue retardado. Los carros con bolsas de basura estuvieron casi todo el dia en el pasillo de la planta donde estaba mi habitacion. El desayuno bastante bàsico.

Very nice hotel, good location, close to the shopping mall. Close to the tram and metro. We went in November and still just about warm enough to use the pool (if from the UK). Was well lit and safe. Room was nice and the showers were amazing. You had to request room service to make up the room if you wanted new towel or the bed made but overall very nice.

Le design de l’hôtel, et surtout de la décoration intérieure, est absolument parfait. Il lui donne quelque chose d’authentique même s’il est tout récent. Le personnel est adorable et la cuisine est vraiment bonne. Dommage pour le service de menah, qui n’a jamais vidé les poubelles.

Väldigt trevliga, sociala och glada personal, vi har varit nöjda och glada under hela vår vistelse i hotellet. Personalen lämnade ett fint födelsedag present till vårt ett åriga barn och var väldigt vänliga mot oss och vårt barn. Hotellet var jätte rent, rummet var rent och sängen jätte bekväm.

Excellent staff. Great view. Metro short walk across the street. Only sour note was the pounding room vibrating music from rooftop bar on Saturday night. It lasted until 1:30am!

I can’t believe they call this place a “4-star” hotel. Yes, the location was great, but everything else was a complete letdown. For starters, the bathroom door in our room was ridiculously loud and creaky—I had to call maintenance just to make it bearable. Then the sink and shower drain were so backed up that water kept pooling, which meant another call to maintenance. On top of all that, the hotel was downright stingy with water, and I had to keep asking for more. Housekeeping also couldn’t seem to get the towels right, so I found myself calling the front desk at least twice to ask for what should’ve been replaced the first time around. And don’t get me started on the bed. The mattress wasn’t even properly secured to the frame, so every time I tried to sit up against the headboard, the whole thing slid down, leaving a giant gap. To make matters worse, there was no real closet or even a proper suitcase stand. A “4-star” hotel with nowhere to put my bags? Really? I had to shove everything on the floor in an already cramped space. A decent wardrobe would have solved this problem, but apparently, that’s too much to ask here. Honestly, I’m still stunned they try to pass this off as a four-star experience. Ridiculous.
I can’t believe they call this place a “4-star” hotel. Yes, the location was great, but everything else was a complete letdown. For starters, the bathroom door in our room was ridiculously loud and creaky—I had to call maintenance just to make it bearable. Then the sink and shower drain were so backed up that water kept pooling, which meant another call to maintenance. On top of all that, the hotel was downright stingy with water, and I had to keep asking for more. Housekeeping also couldn’t seem to get the towels right, so I found myself calling the front desk at least twice to ask for what should’ve been replaced the first time around. And don’t get me started on the bed. The mattress wasn’t even properly secured to the frame, so every time I tried to sit up against the headboard, the whole thing slid down, leaving a giant gap. To make matters worse, there was no real closet or even a proper suitcase stand. A “4-star” hotel with nowhere to put my bags? Really? I had to shove everything on the floor in an already cramped space. A decent wardrobe would have solved this problem, but apparently, that’s too much to ask here. Honestly, I’m still stunned they try to pass this off as a four-star experience. Ridiculous.

A truly beautiful hotel with friendly and really helpful staff. The beds are supremely comfortable and the rooftop space is such a luxury. A few things are a little style over substance such as rather heavy slamming bathroom doors. Additionally for such a high-quality hotel I would like to see coffee machines in the room rather than bag coffee and robes or slippers for comfort. Really pleased the rooms had the ability to open windows for fresh air but the location is rather noisy.

It’s a fantastic hotel in a great spot. Its location allows you to get anywhere fairly quickly be it by metro bus or tram. The hotel is wonderful with spacious rooms and we had a great view of La Sagrada Família. The staff is great in particular Francisco at the bar. The atmosphere is fantastic and it makes for the perfect spot after a day in Barcelona.

Very good hotel. Highly recommended if you want two different ambiances for the family. We got a room with two bedrooms and it was the most spacious and convenient from our trip. The locations is great because it is away from the touristy side of the city but that could also be a drawback. We moved around by taxi or cabify which is not bad but if you want everything within walking distance this might not be the one.

The hotel was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had an excellent experience. The tub and view from the room was unforgettable. The hotel was located in a great neighborhood and had a very clean and appealing esthetic. We can't wait to stay again, the next time we are in Barcelona.

Overall a really nice hotel with great pool area and a bar. Problems start when you check-out as they are soloing with your credit cards making payments without permission. We payed with a Debit card for the whole stay as soon as we arrived. We made the hotel sure that we want the Debit card to be used as a payment. Money has been charged from our bank account the day we checked in. As we checked-out, they charged the stay AGAIN from the credit card used as a deposit without our permission and without telling us even though we already paid when we arrived. So now we have paid for our stay for 2 times, and not gotten our deposit back. They told they have ”released” the Debit card payment which is ridiculous as that is the card that was supposed to be the payment in the first place. The hotel charged wrong card even when we told not to. Not even an apology. Takes also way too long to respond. Had to beg for HOURS to an answer.

The room itself is fairly basic but the bed was super comfy. The room was really warm and you couldn’t lower the temperature on the air conditioning. You couldn’t use the pool in the hotel unless you paid €30-70 for a few hours slot. And even when we were going to pay there was no availability which is just a joke. There was no discount offered or free spaces for hotel guests. The service on the rooftop bar was really slow and took ages to get served yet there seemed to be about 8/9 of the staff just standing chatting. Not what we expected for a 4* hotel. The bathrooms downstairs may aswell have no lighting at all they’re so dark! I couldn’t see when I went to the loo. The decor was beautiful and the staff at reception were very helpful. Shame they wherent as helpful on the rooftop bar and that let them down. Overall the only reason I’d stay here again is the comfy bed.

We had a few issues with this hotel, the reception staff could not give us any information about the surrounding area what to see or if public transport. One of the bar staff were rude to us so after I asked for a certain drink then tried "in our view" to overcharge us.

Pros: Great location: next to a big Westfield so easy to locate. Near a metro line and tram line. Safe area, quiet. Clean, room and main areas kept clean, great decor. This hotel was a miss. This is our 3rd time staying at a hoxton chain and we really felt DISSAPOINTED after our stay at this one. We let the hotel know in advance that we were there on our honeymoon and not one thing was done to welcome us, even a greeting card would have been a warm touch. This was our 5th hotel of our honeymoon and every single one had gone out of their way to do something for us to make us excited and honestly, overall chance the experience for us. The lobby was lovely, as they typical are at hoxtons but truly everything else was a miss. We came back to our room around 3pm one of the days and our room wasn’t cleaned, we rested and then left for dinner around 7. We asked that someone come back and they said they’ll send a quick service as the cleaning staff was gone. Why that was done until 3pm is odd. Won’t be staying again and they have lots of work to do around their customer service and valuing their customers we stay with them.

The Hoxton team from the moment we arrived was unbelievable. We were accommodated with an early check in and that set the tone for our trip. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and ready to make sure our stay was perfect. We found ourselves nearly every night upstairs at the Tope rooftop enjoying the view and some after dinner drinks. We tried their menu and the food was delicious as well. Same goes for this staff, fast, friendly and handles a busy environment very well. Its mixed with guests of the hotel and locals/other tourists coming to enjoy the view. The location and the hotel itself is very modern and in such a quiet area. It’s far enough away from the monuments to enjoy some downtime, but close enough to walk. Within 30-45 min you have The Sagrada Família, Arc de Triomf, the Gothic Quarter, or even the beach. There is also a shopping centre with a grocery store just across the street so you can pick up some essentials. Overall, 5 stars and we’ll most definitely be back when we visit Barcelona again! PS: The pillows are awesome!

The hotel is lovely, well designed with a great rooftop and restaurants. The rooms are pretty spacious and the staff are great. They have a WhatsApp guest service which is really easy to use. Free bike rental is also really good to get out and see the city. The hotel is about a half hour walk out of the centre of Barcelona but there is a tram and metro service nearby if you don’t want to walk.

I stayed at the Hoxton after a cruise. It is a lovely property, and the staff was wonderful. There was a stop for the “hop on hop off” bus right behind the hotel which was wonderfully convenient.

This is a stylish hotel. We had a very pleasant day. The rooftop pool and cabanas are lovely. The hotel is located in a more modern part of the city with easy access to a shopping mall. It is a 20 to 40 minute walk from mini of the iconic Barcelona locations. We did not have any trouble walking or using taxis.

It was conveniently located next to metro & bus stop. There is a shopping mall directly across the street. Approximately 15-20 min walk to beach and to Sagrada Familia. Restaurants in lobby & rooftop with great views. Quiet to sleep at night and comfortable beds. Music in lobby and rooftop slightly loud but that’s just in passing.

Lovely hotel. It's not central but the areas around were cool. Could walk to the beach in less than 30 mins. Rooftop and pool very small, looked different to photos, wasn't setup for use. Hotel room was lovely and has all amenities. Staff were helpful and lovely. Communal areas didn't seem to have air con it was quite hot. Would stay again though and the downstairs and bar areas were really buzzy and nice

I really enjoyed my stay! The staff was incredibly helpful. They seemed shortstaffed in the restaurant, so that was a little challenging at times. You could have an espresso and croissant in the morning at the lobby bar, which was handy. The entire design and decor of this hotel is fabulous. It’s very hip and Eclectic. Getting a cab was never a problem. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing and photo worthy. My only disappointment was that the pool is extremely small and you have to reserve or pay for any kind of seating. There was absolutely none available when I was there for five days in September. From my experience, I would say this property really attracts a very young traveler.

The hotel staff were very courteous from the moment I checked in. The view from both the room and the rooftop was absolutely amazing! You can enjoy a full view of the Sagrada Familia. The breakfast was also very delicious. I especially appreciated the fresh fruit, which made me come back every morning. I would love to stay here again when I visit Barcelona. Thank you very much!

This hotel is simply excellent. The attention to detail. The variety of options at the restaurant, bar and cafes, and the pool, cocktail bar are fun! Rooms are super comfy, well equipped, and the staff are very nice and welcoming. It’s spendier than some, but worth it. Great location too! Near many options for fun things to see and do.

The breakfast is on order with limited selection. We stayed three nights, but could never get the room cleaning. The service is unfortunately the worst during our several stays in Spain. The taco on top roof was the only good thing we could remember.

Nous avons séjourné en famille (avec enfant) et globalement l’expérience a été agréable. L’emplacement est idéal et le parking offert est un vrai plus. La chambre était confortable, avec une literie excellente. Petit bémol : il n’y a pas vraiment de rangement pour les affaires. Le petit-déjeuner est bon mais identique chaque jour, un peu plus de variété serait appréciée. En revanche, le gros point négatif reste l’accès à la piscine : il est payant (minimum 70€ la journée), ce qui est assez décevant quand on séjourne déjà à l’hôtel.

Stayed here with my wife, 21 years old daughter and 16 year old son for 3 nights. Great hotel- good location for sightseeing and area great for restaurants. Hotel staff very helpful. Room good, only negative was no shelf space to put anything away. There was room for a small chest of drawers. Great selection at breakfast

This was such a lovely stay! The only thing I wish was that the shower had a ventilation fan because it would heat up the whole room.
