Perfectly adequate property, centrally located on La Rambla with good public transport links. Accommodation is small but ok, it’s no frills but perfectly useable - not somewhere you’d spend hours chilling in your room but there is lots to see and do in the city which is no problem. Access is via a narrow staircase or a single person lift to the second floor. Staff are polite and helpful with any requests. Could be a bit noisy in the middle of the night as some of the younger occupants returned from their nights out

Der Aufenthalt war in Ordnung, das Personal freundlich. Man sollte aber wissen, dass die Rezeption sowie die Zimmer im ungefähr 3. Stock sind, das Stiegenhaus extrem eng und der Aufzug höchstens für eine Person (ohne Gepäck!!!) Platz hat. Für uns mit Kinderwagen war es sehr anstrengend aber für den Preis und nur 2 Nächte akzeptabel. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter als auf den Fotos - oder gut fotografiert worden, aber sauber.

Mucha inseguridad, muchos carteristas y delicuentes cerca de la propiedad, y estaban pintando la entrada de la escalera y bloqueando el paso para entrar a la puerta de el hostal, ademas que el elevador demasiado chiquito.En resumen no nos gusto para nada

This place is not how it looks like in the pictures, however, the staff are super nice. There is a lot of noise from outside because it’s right in front of the popular areas. The place is not bad but it’s in a complex where it’s shared with other tenants if that makes sense. The room that I got was nice and clean so was the restroom very modern looking. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re just staying a couple of nights and seeking just a quick place to crash. But if you’re looking into staying in and enjoying the view with breakfast etc this is not it. There is absolutely no parking nearby. I used taxis

Lo unico bueno que tiene este hostal es la ubicación. Por lo demas es terrible, las camas estan en mal estado, es sucio, si tienes maletas de carga es sumamente incomodo porque es un edificio antiguo y el nivel del hostal es hasta uno de los ultimos pisos. Tienen un elevador terrible donde solo caben las maletas, pero no el huesped. No entiendo si quiera como puede estar dentro del catálogo de Expedia, muy mal por parte de esta compañía, ya que a pesar que es un hostal no es barato y no permiten reservar con tarifa reembolsable. Una total estafa!!!

Bus stop to town is across the road, the property is closed to a shopping complex, the property is very clean and safe. The owners have left very clear instructions on how to Access the property and other instructions inside the property. It will be better to get a phone call just to check on us, because I tried to phone but no one got back to me. I will definitely stay again.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das stets freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – der Aufenthalt war dadurch sehr angenehm. Auch Probleme mit dem Internet wurden umgehend und zuverlässig behoben. Die Reinigungskraft war ebenfalls sehr freundlich, und die Zimmer wurden täglich gründlich gereinigt. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet: zentral gelegen und mit sehr guter Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher!
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das stets freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – der Aufenthalt war dadurch sehr angenehm. Auch Probleme mit dem Internet wurden umgehend und zuverlässig behoben. Mi estancia fue excepcional: todo estaba impecablemente limpio, acogedor y decorado con mucho gusto. El personal fue extremadamente amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. El servicio superó mis expectativas — me sentí como un huésped especial. ¡Sin duda merece un 10 y volvería encantada!

El lugar es excepcional. Cerca de todo. Frente a la entrada a la boqueria. Ideal para levantarse y desayunar allí La limpieza es excelente. El personal fue muy amable sobre todo la de limpieza. Los de recepción son más parcos. El silencio absoluto en la habitación y las camas y baño perfectas para descansar. Si abres la ventana entra olor feo, a meada de gato y se escucha la callecita de atrás si alguien pasa hablando aunque está en el tercer piso. El problema es la escalera que hay que subir hasta el tercer piso. Hay un ascensor pero es más un montacargas. No parece muy confiable para subir aunque yo lo use. En fin lástima que pague 200 euros por noche. Al llegar el día ya no podía abortar y costaba 100 euros. No debería valer más que eso. 100 euros. Es un hostal sin desayuno ni mayores comodidades. Es una habitación privada y segura básicamente.

The location is first class. Just at the center of the Ramblas, across the Mercer de la Boqueria. Still the rooms are noise free. My room was small but had all the essentials. Bathroom was very clean and the staff was friendly.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, mais malheureusement, l'entretien de l'établissement laisse à désirer. Certes, il était neuf à son ouverture, mais un manque de soins se ressent maintenant. J'ai constaté un pommeau de douche cassé, des toilettes qui fuient, et le ménage n'était pas toujours effectué ; il a fallu le demander pour que cela soit fait. Au regard de l'ensemble des prestations, la qualité n'est pas à la hauteur du prix demandé. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

He starts to speak on his cellular and always speaking on handsfree and waking you up at 7 am ever day. Elevator is for one person like a joke. There were spider webs on the ceiling. The bed is not comfortable and not big enough for the people. It is a budget hotel in the middle.of La Rambla but prepare to be woke up by the recepcionist and listen to his conversation with family.and friends & even hear what they say as he likes to speak on the speaker.

I had to book this hotel very last minute because my flight was canceled. Overall, the stay was okay, the rooms were decent and clean. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first day due to technical issues, which was inconvenient. The biggest problem was the air conditioning in the bedroom: it was extremely noisy, especially when the fan was on the highest setting, and it often made it hard to fall asleep. For a short stay, it’s manageable, but if you’re not expecting to be stuck there, it’s not the most comfortable option.

don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at Hostal BCN Ramblas was truly disappointing and misleading from start to finish. The room looked nothing like the photos dark, outdated, and not what was advertise. The bathroom had see-through glass walls, which made privacy impossible. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and to top it off, the receptionist was rude and unwelcoming at check-in. The location is good, but that’s the only real positive. I wouldn’t stay here again.

don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at Hostal BCN Ramblas was truly disappointing and misleading from start to finish. The room looked nothing like the photos dark, outdated, and not what was advertise. The bathroom had see-through glass walls, which made privacy impossible. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and to top it off, the receptionist was rude and unwelcoming at check-in. The location is good, but that’s the only real positive. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Había demasiado ruido en la recepción y lobby. Lo peor es que era el mismo staff de limpieza y recepción quienes hablaban a toda hora en decibeles muy altos sin respetar horas de descanso 7am-10am. Las colchas eran muy finas y para el invierno recomiendo unas mas gruesas. Debo recalcar que el señor de la recepción fue simpático pero todo el personal necesita más educación sobre hostelería. No conocen nada sobre protocolo.

This is a great place! Very convenient, right on the Rambla and across the street from the oldest market in Barcelona! In the heart of the Gothic area -- restaurants, cafes, shopping and attractions are all around. Close to the Barcelona Cathedral. We walked everywhere including Parc Guell and Monjuic. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Our room was spacious, clean, lots of lights, and we liked the colored lights in the bathroom! There is an elevator, but we didn't use it, choosing to go up and down the stairway.

Location location location. This property on La Rambla is the main reason we decided to stay here. It is right across the metro stops and Gothic quarters and other major sites to see are all walkable. We were warned to be aware of pick pocketers on the street but luckily we did not have any mishappenings. The property itself is very very basic. The room was ok, paint chipping off and one thing that we did not like was the bathroom did not have a lock/ had sliding door. Also the exhaust in the bathroom did not work properly. If one person is using the bathroom, it is better the other room occupants should stay out!

This apartment is good for short stay were you only use it for sleeping and the whole day you are out roaming around Barcelona. It’s only infront of the famous market in La Rambla area and you can walk towards Plaza Catalunya, Casa Batillo, La Pedrera, Port of Barcelona and a lot more if you will just follow the map with planned itinerary. Everything you need is walking distance like restaurants, shopping, market, etc. The price is just ok for the 4 of us. The only thing that is not really working well of the lift and only 1 person can go in because its so tiny and we ended up always climbing the stairs and its very tiring from having a long walks touring around Barcelona. But if you are fuzzy and wants a very comfortable bed, this place might not suit you. For us its ok because we are just using it mainly to have a good rest and sleep. We ride the taxi on our way back to the airport and we paid €38. The bus fare cost €5.75 each and will drop you to Plaza Catalunya and from there its just a short walking distance to the apartment. We will definitely go back again and choose this place if available.

El lugar es excepcional. Cerca de todo. Frente a la entrada a la boqueria. Ideal para levantarse y desayunar allí La limpieza es excelente. El personal fue muy amable sobre todo la de limpieza. Los de recepción son más parcos. El silencio absoluto en la habitación y las camas y baño perfectas para descansar. Si abres la ventana entra olor feo, a meada de gato y se escucha la callecita de atrás si alguien pasa hablando aunque está en el tercer piso. El problema es la escalera que hay que subir hasta el tercer piso. Hay un ascensor pero es más un montacargas. No parece muy confiable para subir aunque yo lo use. En fin lástima que pague 200 euros por noche. Al llegar el día ya no podía abortar y costaba 100 euros. No debería valer más que eso. 100 euros. Es un hostal sin desayuno ni mayores comodidades. Es una habitación privada y segura básicamente.

This place is not how it looks like in the pictures, however, the staff are super nice. There is a lot of noise from outside because it’s right in front of the popular areas. The place is not bad but it’s in a complex where it’s shared with other tenants if that makes sense. The room that I got was nice and clean so was the restroom very modern looking. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re just staying a couple of nights and seeking just a quick place to crash. But if you’re looking into staying in and enjoying the view with breakfast etc this is not it. There is absolutely no parking nearby. I used taxis

The elevator is small and inconvenient. Stepps also narrow, hard to bring a regular suitcase. Front desk were helpful, the room had 3 single bed one after the other....we were 2, bathroom was ok. Price for the night, 200 for one night outrageous, considering the fact there was so much noise made by City workers renovating the all boulevard. It was not a great experience for our money.

The room was very small. There was really nowhere to put clothes. A new bathroom but tiny. There was no soap dish and nowhere for shampoo. We are not big people so not how sure larger persons would do. Our 2nd night we slept late to jet lag and the maid knocked on door at noon and said she was leaving in 20 minutes and came twice during that period. The location was good but I don't think I would stay there again.
