Château La Rametière

I am writing this review as we are driving away, and I’m sad to be leaving! We only stayed one night and it was far too short. This was the mid-way point in our France trip (fantastic location for visiting Mont Saint Michel), and our one peaceful night in between city-center stays. It was amazing in every sense. The grounds and chateau are meticulously kept and just beautiful. The breakfast (made up of items you self-select upon check in) was abundant and delicious. We stayed in the triple room and it was incredibly spacious, including a huge bathroom with a spacious shower and amazing jetted tub. The hospitality was also unmatched and greatly appreciated. We loved sitting in the grand salon reading and playing cards before check out this morning. We all left feeling full of peace and gratitude. I have no doubt this will be our favorite stay during our trip. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing time at the Chateau! The grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. The room was clean, well-furnished and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, and it was lovely to chat with the other guests at the hotel. But the real difference maker were the hosts, Pascale and Philippe, who were so friendly and welcoming. We would love to come back and visit again in the future! A small note to the hotel - the highest floor room does get hot in 28-30 degree Celsius + weather, even with the AC unit running. We only experienced this kind of weather on the first night of our stay, so it really wasn't an issue for us. But I could see others experiencing some discomfort in the summer. The place was much better than expected! Simply exquisite!

Pascale was wonderful. She coordinated with me in advance and set up dinner reservations for us. The Chateau is beautiful and the grounds are so pretty. It was like stepping back in time to see the historic beauty of the property. The sitting room for drinks is so relaxing and we enjoyed sitting their and having a glass of wine.

We had a wonderful stay over five days at the château. The building and the large garden was amazing and the hosts Pascale and Philippe really made an effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our family of four stayed in the fully equipped cottage and had everything we needed there. The spot is beautiful and peaceful with a lot of character and is located close to many places worth visiting in the surroundings. Highly Recommended!
