There were a few shortcomings that one would expect of a 2-3 star hotel: - No elevator. Had to carry luggage to the 3rd floor. - Little ventilation in the bathroom - Insufficient number of power outlets in the room (at least for a family of four) - The pool is small and not heated. - They charge for your full stay during check in. But the real disappointment was to return to the room at 4:30 pm after being out all day and find it halfway serviced with sheets piled up on one of the beds, cleaning supplies outside the door and none of the cleaning people anywhere nearby. When I reported this to the receptionist, she asked that I understand that they had only two cleaning people and that they needed to take their break. It took about half an hour until the cleaning people showed up again to finish what they started. We had to wait until they were done to go in to shower and change and were late for our dinner. I think it’s understandable that one shouldn’t expect all the amenities of a more expensive hotel, but having the staff go on a break halfway through cleaning a room is just classless for any hotel.

Flew into Cabo and stayed for a night here before we headed to La Paz. Hotel was cute, very small though. We were on the second floor & had to lug our two huge suitcases up the stairs with no help from front desk/bell hop, so that sucked. There is no elevator. The pool is nice and we had it all to ourselves for the night. Room was comfy, roomy and clean. We had breakfast at the restaurant on site George’s before we headed to La Paz- food was delicious & reasonably priced.

If you don’t want the hubbub of the city life, then this is for you. It’s quiet, comfortable and is across the street from a beach. The swimming pool is clean and there are lounge chairs around it. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but George’s is onsite and the food is EXCELLENT! Both the front desk staff and George’s staff are super friendly and they all speak English for those of us with minimum Spanish in our vocabulary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will come back!

Small hotel with nice big rooms and a pool (very cold water) and a restaurant & bar. The pizza is delicious but the other food we tried was not great. The tacos were horrible! The beach across the street is tiny and not very clean with lots of garbage strewn about near the marina. The wi-fi is not reliable in the rooms, but they do have live music on the patio in the evenings. It is quite far from town and there is not much in the area.

When our flight home was cancelled, this little gem was one of the only reasonably-priced hotels available. We were pleasantly surprised! It’s a quaint little place with very friendly staff. The rooms were extremely clean and smelled wonderful. Nice big shower, and the beds and pillows were heavenly, which is rare in Mexico. We received a welcome margarita during check-in. The outdoor restaurant & bar on site had wonderful food and a casual atmosphere. We had lots of spare time waiting for our flight home so we just relaxed by the pool and took a walk across the street around the marina and beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very informative and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The restaurant is clean and serves up delicious meals at a reasonable cost. The addition of live entertainment is a nice bonus and the area that the in is located in is safe and walkable.

This place is absolutely darling. The staff were very accommodating and let us check in early. The room was super clean and much larger than expected. There is really powerful AC so it’s like a dream to walk through after spending the day in the hot sun. The restaurant George’s was delicious and had great vibes. We also got some free drink tickets at check in which was a really nice touch. We stopped here one night after a week at a resort and I have to say I preferred our one night here! Will definitely return if we are in the Cabo area again.

Esta vez nos fue mal, la puerta era de vidrio y entraba luz y nos pusieron arriba del restaurante, 7:30am había un ruidajal de voces duro, no pude volver a dormir. Nos fuimos un día antes del hotel. En enero que fuimos a una suite muy bien! Pero esta vez la verdad incómodo. El personal siempre muy amable

This place is beautiful! Very reasonable price for an excellent hotel. Nice pool, great comfortable beds-and very clean. Nice TV, and shower with even a shower cap. Beautiful gardening too. It’s smaller and more comfortable in feeling than some of the grandiose hotels, which are not my style. I highly recommend this place. If we could have asked for one thing it didn’t have , it would have been a small fridge. But they do have ice.

My room door had glass which allowed courtyard lighting in all night causing disrupted sleep and irritated attitude in the morning. The window shade also did not block lights from the courtyard/hall. Extremely weak coffee at breakfast area.

Very nice smaller quaint property that was in tip top shape. Convenient to everything we needed as either to walk or get transportation. Far enough away from the main town it was quiet on time to go to bed for the next days activities. Front desk staff was terrific and extremely helpful and George’s restaurant inside the grounds served amazing locally sourced authentic Mexican food. We were sad to leave

The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Check-in also came with a complimentary margarita! The room was clean and comfortable, and George's restaurant has amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Will stay here again!

We went to Cabo to celebrate my sons 14th birthday and he wanted to stay close to the marina. I let him choose the hotel. I messaged them to let them know it was a birthday celebration and they were amazing. When we arrived the staff had giant balloons that said “happy birthday” and even waited past their shift to sing to my son when we entered the room. They had a huge plate of chocolate covered strawberries for him. His favorite! They upgraded us to a beautiful room with a sitting area and kitchenette. Every attention to detail was great. The entire staff was polite and personable and treated my son like Royalty. The food at “George’s restaurant “ was great. Some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! There was live music a few nights and that provided a lovely atmosphere. The hotel is walking distance to the a Beach club, which has a lovely swimmable warm beach with no waves, and we enjoyed being able to be in the ocean. The views of the sunset from the 3rd floor were priceless and by the end of the week we felt like family. I’ve been to Cabo maybe 30 times or more in the past few decades and this was by far my favorite boutique hotel! I honestly can’t say enough about this little gem in the marina. My son was so happy and his birthday was truly one he will never forget! Thank you to the staff - you were all amazing! I highly recommend this hotel and would go back next week if I could! The Inn was very cute and very close to the beach. There were some walkable locations for food and coffee other than the attached restaurant. It was a little far removed from downtown San Jose, so be prepared to uber or taxi pretty often. It was tge perfect location for what we wanted.

Walking distance to beach, small but nice restaurants, beautiful cove with docks, quiet environments. Staffs knew little about the history of the village, such as the light house (closed now) 0.5 miles up on thehill, a 19th century church over looking the town, docks, w mountains at distance.

La Marina Inn is a hidden Baja gem! Wonderful peaceful hotel with amazing dining at George’s. Super close to the La Playita fishing fleet if you plan on going fishing as it is less than 50yards down the road making for an easy morning to the docks!

Very nice smaller quaint property that was in tip top shape. Convenient to everything we needed as either to walk or get transportation. Far enough away from the main town it was quiet on time to go to bed for the next days activities. Front desk staff was terrific and extremely helpful and George’s restaurant inside the grounds served amazing locally sourced authentic Mexican food. We were sad to leave

If you don’t want the hubbub of the city life, then this is for you. It’s quiet, comfortable and is across the street from a beach. The swimming pool is clean and there are lounge chairs around it. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but George’s is onsite and the food is EXCELLENT! Both the front desk staff and George’s staff are super friendly and they all speak English for those of us with minimum Spanish in our vocabulary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will come back!

El hotel es muy bonito, cómodo y limpio, aunque la primera noche nos salió una cucaracha en la habitación. Alrededor es bonito pero demasiado tranquilo, si se quiere conocer el centro de San José o trasladarte a otra playa el transporte es poco o caro ya que se tiene que tomar uber.

Very clean and comfortable. No frills and no view, but if that doesn't matter to you this place is great. El Ganzo across the street has a great rooftop pool with a view - you can get a day pass. The food at the restaurant is good and very inexpensive.

La Marina was outstanding !! The staff was so accommodating. We can back each afternoon to a tidy room which was lovely. The restaurant and drink program were exceptional. My husband was doing fishing charters and they prepared his fresh catch. We stayed in the suite with friends and our two children and we all had the best time. Thank you La Marina.

This place is absolutely darling. The staff were very accommodating and let us check in early. The room was super clean and much larger than expected. There is really powerful AC so it’s like a dream to walk through after spending the day in the hot sun. The restaurant George’s was delicious and had great vibes. We also got some free drink tickets at check in which was a really nice touch. We stopped here one night after a week at a resort and I have to say I preferred our one night here! Will definitely return if we are in the Cabo area again.

The staff were very informative and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The restaurant is clean and serves up delicious meals at a reasonable cost. The addition of live entertainment is a nice bonus and the area that the in is located in is safe and walkable.

Charming boutique hotel near the Marina in San Jose del Cabo. This was our second time staying here and we’ll stay here again the next time we’re in Los Cabos. The rooms are spacious and so comfortable and stylish. The on site restaurant is excellent. We had breakfast as well as dinner and loved it.

Everything was great at this hotel, except for the noise and privacy. Our room was the first room, which is next to the office and opens directly into the restaurant. If the windows and doors were thicker, it probably would have insulated against some of the noise, but that wasn't the case - we could hear full conversations from our room. Additionally, the windows from the room didn't have any frosting or other privacy, which meant we really couldn't open the blinds at all. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Close to dining and other amenities!
