Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Tv did not work. I did not ask for assistance since we were not there very long. Price for stay is high. Not sure why prices are so high as hotel is older with limited amenities. It was nice to get free cold bottled water. Breakfast could have fruit and toaster with bread options. Shampoo and conditioner difficult to access and open small bags. Hand soap should be liquid not bars. Bed was comfortable with good blankets and pillows. No coffee pot in room but coffee and tea was available in office.

Old motel cleaned up and painted,no in room coffee maker. Ice machine was in front that used to be a mini mart. Staff was pleasant and helpful. TV worked sometimes. It's a 2 star motel

I stayed here because it was priced much better than some of the major chains, but wouldn't do it again. The rooms were dimly lit, with the most minimal of amenities. The prior cleaning didn't include new soap bars. The towels were thin. It just felt very low-rent. But thankfully, the room was clean which met my minimal requirements.

Motel is under renovations, but room was very nice, clean. At first it was not obvious where the office was, but checked in with no problems. Bed was comfortable. While renovations are going on, you need to ask for ice, but they are very good about making sure you get it.

This conveniently located motel needs a little attention. In my room, the bulbs in the light fixture above the front door were blown out. The furniture in same was old and had an excessive number of scuff marks.

Staff was kind, friendly people. Room was spacious. Bathroom was clean. But I had two problems with cleanness. First one is that there were white sprinkles all over the bed. It looked like some detergent was not rinsed well. Second problem was about carpet. It was wet and dirty. After I walked with my barefoot, back of my foot turned all black. Other than those two parts, it was a good hotel….

My husband is riddled with bug bites on his arms, feet, front, back and legs. He is miserable!! I’d like to send you pictures. In the shower, the soap and shampoo was left from the previous guests, the air conditioner sounded like a jet plane and there was no Kleenex. Never again will we stay there. We deserve a refund!!

The staff was very helpful and breakfast is more than decent with various options from cakes to boiled eggs. Breakfast starts at 5am which is very convenient. The room is a standard room but unfortunately I had bedbugs in my room 108 which ruined my experience

Real nice host, the quickest check in, he had it all ready for us as we entered the reception. Free water and coffee all day. Beds are on wheels which makes them feel shaky when turning in your sleep. Wanna know what your neighbourg is doing? Not to worry, you can hear it all through the walls.

Shams greeted us with kindness and he is very generous. After our 6-7 hour drive from Northern California, Shams made our check-in very easy and offered us bottled water & cans of soda. He also helped us with our key of our room because I was unable to open the door. Thank you, Shams! And take care!

Extremely KIND and very friendly staff. We are were travelling on our motorcycles after 6 hours on the road in 44C temperatures. We were hot and exhausted. They provided us with cold water, immediately, changed our room to a ground floor so we didn't have to haul our gear up a flight of stairs and then later dropped off a bowl of fresh fruit. It made our stay so much more comfortable and, honestly enjoyable after such a long desert ride. We are EXTREMELY grateful for the kindness and care of the hotel owners and staff. HIGHLY recommend! Price was also one of the best deals in the area! Clean, and comfortable.

The front desk girl was sweet and very friendly. The bad thing was the drug dealer in the room next door with multiple people in and out and arguing. Can’t understand why they’d put us in a room next door to that. There’s NO way they didn’t know what was going on it was ridiculous. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but I can’t handle hotels that rent to drug dealers. Felt unsafe and I had to leave my poor mom there all night alone as I had a procedure at the hospital. If you don’t mind that the rooms and beds were older but seemed clean.

Very friendly manager who's willing to take the extra step. On an afternoon which wasn't busy, he went with me to my room, checked that the AC was working properly before leaving. I realize that this can't happen all the time since the lobby can't be left with an attendant.

This was a decent, economical place to stay as we travelled toward Death Valley Nat'l Park. The town is clean, this hotel is run by a very good manager who was eager to please and take special requests, etc. Very friendly service. The room was large, bath and shower were very good and large. The King bed was very comfortable, the room was relatively quiet although people in the next room talked loudly through the wall from our heads till late in the night. Everything was clean, well maintained, with a little continental breakfast to boot.

We arrived in the early morning hours (around 3:30 in the morning) the manager came out quickly and told me that he waived the checkout time so the family could get some sleep. Great experience, would stay here again on the way to Disneyland.

Amazing, friendly service. The manager moved his car, without being asked, to give us more convenient parking. He cooked eggs for our breakfast. At night, we were looking for something in our car, and he offered us a flashlight. As we were leaving, the maid wished us a very cheerful good day.

Management staff was excellent and provided superior service. The room was spacious and clean. We were greeted with a fruit plate upon arrival. I expected a continental breakfast but was pleasantly surprised with fried eggs and toast in the morning. Highly recommend this establishment and their exceptional management. Motel qui fait bien l'affaire pour une nuit. Près des commerces et fast food, confortable, salle de bain agréable pour 4 et le petit déjeuner très bien , avec fruits frais, yaourts et céréales pour les enfants. De plus, on nous laisse prendre des canettes et bouteilles d'eau. Le gérant est très gentil.

Ridgecrest is highly recommended as a previous-night-lodging when you start super early in the morning for hikes in Death Valley. America Inn is quiet, clean, and economical and great location in terms of all local restaurants and bars. Again, highly recommended. We were very pleased when the manager himself brought couple of yogurt and bananas to our room after learning that our departure time would be a few hours earlier than that opening of their breakfast time. Amazing hospitality!!

We stayed here on our way to Death Valley NP from Bay Area. Easy check-in process, clean rooms and great breakfast! We’ve liked it so much, we have stayed here again on our way back! The breakfast was amazing! The manager offers fried eggs if he is around and they were delicious. Otherwise, hard boiled eggs were available. Definitely would recommend!

We knew we would only be there 12 hours so I just looked for a low price. The owner met me at the door and checked me in quickly. He gave me bottled water. After we settled in he brought us a plate of fruit. In the morning my husband went down to get us coffee (Keurig). They had fruit and pastries out and eggs. I asked hubby if they were hard boiled. He said no, the owner offered to cook us eggs if we’d like. This was the last night of our road trip and a great way to end our trip.

The property needs update. It is dated and needs insulation between walls to drown up noise. I didn’t have issues with the reservation, since there were plenty of vacancies. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very limited (a few bananas, oranges, hard boiled eggs, 3 choices of cereal, hot water for tea, milk, orange juice, and plenty of danish pastries.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Towels average. The hot water never really got hot. Compared to other similar hotels, it was a good night's sleep. Compared to other hotels in general, it ranks in the average category. Part of the reason we picked this hotel was because of the breakfast reviews. The breakfast was terrible. Yogurt, no granola. No hot water for tea. No bread for toast to have with your boiled egg. Cereal but no non-dairy milk. Twinkies were part of the pastry section.
