Very nice place. Chairs & small table outside every room on the beautiful decks. Walkway and seating all along river edge and beautiful flower gardens everywhere. Room was a little cramped. Would go larger next time. Room was well maintained and spotless. The river view is wonderful.

WE spent 5 days there for my birthday and my sister-in-laws birthday. It was a wonderful time. Beautiful well appointed cottage...comfortable beds, great well stocked kitchen and BBQ. We went in swimming -- shallow and warm. Gardens and board walk are well kept and lighted...

What a lovely little place, even the LED screen outside tells you so! We stayed in a room which had a little outside space for seating but the chalets with patio and river views looked amazing. Plenty of parking and about 30 minutes easy walk to town with several dining options. Breakfast quite basic but enjoyable. Would stay again but definitely choose a chalet.

Our cabin was clean and tidy, with everything we needed including dishes, small appliances and fridge. Beautiful views of the water, on our deck, with patio furniture etc. Check in was easy, continental breakfast and great service. The owner takes care of the grounds and the gardens are beautiful. We had an enjoyable stay.

You have access to a cute (small) boardwalk next to the water. There is the hotel plus separated little cottages. You have access to barbecues, and their included breakfast was amazing. You could choose from bagels/bread/cereals/oatmeal/waffles. There were different kinds of fruit & yogurt; eggs & sausages. I was told that every day they switch up how they prepare the eggs and what other hot dish they provide. The staff were super friendly. I was not surprised to hear some people stay in the cottages for weeks at a time.

Well-situated inn, very close to the town of Prescott and close to Kingston and the Thousand Islands. Breakfast included with hot and cold selections. We had Cottage 14, probably the smallest. Some dust bunnies here and there, somewhat unclean bathroom walls, and a rather inefficient AC unit installed at the back of the cottage, in the bedroom, when the warmest room, the living and dining room, is at the front of the cottage. Still, the beautiful gardens, the view of the St. Lawrence River and the friendly staff more than made up for that. Very recommended.

The whole experience was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The grounds were beautiful with gardens and the dock overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The room was clean, nicely updated and decorated. The iwner and staff were very friendly. We'll go back.

This is a lovely spot but the next time we’d consider a cottage. The roadside rooms are a bit bright and noisy for us. Bed and pillows a bit hard and flat, but the room was cosy and warm, very clean with a lovely breakfast and cheerful breakfast room attendant!

The beds were absolutely horrible, the springs kept popping every time you moved. Also says every room has a fire place, but the fire place was the main source of heat. Extremely hard to heat room up and the bathroom was always cold.rooms are so small you had to becone person to move through the room.

Beautiful view of the river, nice to enjoy it with kids. However, very very rustic rooms. Must have been nice in 1970. Plus, poor communication; 3 times I messaged and called prior to arriving and I was never called back.

Staff was dismissive and rude when I checked in for no reason. I’m sorry it’s a new job for her as she mentioned but that isn’t the customers problem. Housekeeping DID NOT service the room at all, despite leaving the sign on the door. leaving us short on fresh towels. Room had signs posted everywhere with warnings of evictions if you do not comply with their rules. Many things are common sense. They came off very passive aggressive. It goes against the cozy riverside vibe they are trying to go for. The area is great, and the room is good for the price but they need to work on a few things.

TV did not work ....worked last week with strange setup on remote...but this time it did not work at all and nobody in the office to help at 7pm. Last week on pass through we were disappointed there were no channels carrying the CFL football games.

The staff was awesome. We had to check in very late and they were available to help. The view was incredible. Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the River. Breakfast was lovely. Area was super cute!! Will stay again!!

This was our 4th stay at Dewar's Inn and each stay has been great. It is located at a beautiful spot right on the St Lawrence, prices are good and staff is great - what more could you ask for?

We had a front room with a river view. It was a great stay. We had been there before and would recommend it. There is no restaurant on this site and you have to go out of your way to find some. You have to drive to Brockville. They do include breakfast a little above you usual continental but just. Great place for a quiet stay but not much else.

Dewars Inn on the River was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in on an overnight stop. Small and immaculate, with the most magnificent gardens and overlooking the St Lawrence River, Our room was so pretty and had all the modern comforts we needed, TV, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Breakfast was included and was very good with a large selection of choices, including scrambled eggs, sausages, fried potatoes and hot baked beans. A selection of breads and waffles and cereals, yogurt, coffee, tea, juices as well. The staff made sure we were all well taken care. The hotel was full the night we were there but everything was perfect. Would definitely stay there again if in Prescott, which is also a lovely little town to wander around in for a few hours before heading off.

Our stay was great ,very comfortable cottages,everything you need to cook a meal .They were onlt too happy to change your towels daily if needed.Breakfast was included but only good if you have no allergies. They were kind enough to get me my gluten free bread which i appreciated. But we would rather cook our own breakfast as you get tired of the same thing everyday.The views and the gardens are beautiful. Definitely will go back,we have friends that go several times a year also so Definitely worth the price.Their rooms have a theme and are all a little different.

We arrived to an open office with a keyless check in process. This is good . The key was clearly identified with my name and room number. The room was excellent except the mattress was on the firm side. Bathroom was clean and towels and bath mat readily accessible. Breakfast was fantastic with a well balanced choice of fruit , yogurt and brown bread. There were some home made muffins.

I liked that it was on the st. Lawrence, the room was great. It's lose to bigger towns by car. Unfortunately the breakfast room was still closed due to covid so I was provided with a small breakfast bag in the room.There was very loud music playing when I woke up at 2am. It was good music at least.
