We have stayed at Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world, and I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife, has once again exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the level of service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality was simply outstanding. We stayed in The Retreat, in a beautiful One-Bedroom Suite with Ocean View, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and professionally by the staff. We were transported by car to the private check-in area, where we were offered refreshing drinks and made to feel incredibly special. Although check-in was at 4 pm and we had to wait a little while for our suite, the hotel ensured we were comfortable and could enjoy its wonderful facilities, along with complimentary drinks and delicious nibbles included as part of our suite experience. A lovely hotel set in a great location. It was just sometimes difficult to arrange dinner at the time you would like. Also the coffee at breakfast could be improved. It would also be good if they opened the main indoor restaurant for dinner when it rains instead of cramming everyone into the limited indoor space at some of the restaurants as it made for an unpleasent experience.

The staff at the resort was exceptional! We had a great time playing golf at the Abama course as well as relaxing at the different pools. There were always plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. My only real suggestions for improvement were a hole in the closet door that someone clearly had punched and a slow running toilet (which was immediately fixed after we reported it).

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Tenerife was excellent. The receptionists were helpful and so kind, even the times when we were too late to book a reservation at the restaurants the receptionist was so kind and helpful and found us a table still. They are really kind also at the breakfast reception. The breakfast has a lot variety and have tasteful and healthy alternatives. We loved eating at breakfast every day and the different restaurants were unique, especially the Japanese one (Akira). Absolutely recommended. The Italian restaurant (Verona) I remember the names of at least 10 people who work there, and it’s not difficult when they are so memorable, kind, colorful and approachable. We enjoyed the pool facilities, tennis (not included, but they drive you to the tennis court you book nearby) and the beautiful Abama beach which they drive you to with a charming little green locomotive train. I mean, we had a week there and it was truly wonderful. The room with the ocean view is recommended. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious, I’m grateful they gave us such a great room. 10/10. Thanks for the experience!
