The front desk clerk was lovely. She was kind and assisted me with an earlier check in. The rooms are old. The actual room across from me had a door that didn’t go all the way to the top of the frame (yes really). And there’s no elevator, so if you have any problems lugging your stuff up 12 stairs it’s not the place for you. I wish it was old in a quaint way, but it’s more like the basement bedroom at your cousins house old.

Enough parking, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable for the price. Bathroom was clean but bath tub needs some TLC. Breakfast was included, it had a smart tv with all the streaming apps you want. Sheets were clean.

I know they are working on it ... but oh goodness. 1. no safety lock on door 2. bathroom door didn't close 3. You need a manual and a PHD to figure out the tv as it is NOT obvious. 4. Breakfast? Sit there. You can have this to eat and nothing else yet the bacon and toast burned beyond comprehension 10 minutes for coffee. Discourteous..and you have to walk to breakfast in case you have an agility problem. 5. Pillow cases were stained --- yuck. 6. Does NOT look like the photo...trust me 7. Ask for main floor as no elevator if agility problems exist. 8. Had to ask for cups 9. no blue box...and one tiny garbage pail. Plus: ***** Lots of plugs and outets.

New paint and laminate flooring. Upgraded to a king size bed - but no fitted sheet on bed, no extra blankets or pillows. Pillows on the bed were horrible. No kleenex. No garbage can or recycling in room other than small bin in bathroom. Television was great - even had Netflix. Breakfast was hot and adequate. Not a luxurious or “nice” place to stay but it only cost $100 so I feel like I got what I paid for!

(Friday, Saturday) Mid-July -Pet friendly (it's up to you to keep your pet behaved) -Staff was very respectful, and accommodating if needed -Felt safe -15 min drive to downtown, 7 min drive to shopping mall, and supercenters if needed (Walmart, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, etc) -Tim Hortin and Bus route right in front of the hotel within walking distance to different types of eateries if needed -Rooms were clean Ac works. The rooms were used just for sleeping and going out around the area. It served its purpose, especially accommodating a dog on the trip. I would go back and stay again since my objective is to enjoy the town and surrounding area.

The visitors above us were pounding on the floor at 12:30 am and woke us up. No ice machine on property. Zero amenities, No "in room" coffee machine. Had to ask for toilet paper. The FREE continental breakfast doesn't start until 8:30 am , thats late to start serving breakfast for travellers.

How is this motel still in business?? The room was awful. I’ve never stayed in a dirtier room, ever. Would have left if we didn’t check in so late. The bathroom was disgusting, with a shower so dirty you couldn’t even shower. And there was NO hot water. The sheets were stained and dirty, coffee maker was full of dust. Paint peeling, dirt in every corner and certain the room wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. Not to mention the exposed wiring in the curling moulding. Just awful. How is this a Travelodge?!

Think twice before you stay here. The room was dirty bedding was dirty. Decided to ignore it and went to bed. Woke up a few hours later to bed bugs. Decided we couldn't stay packed our personal items to check out. Complained to the front desk, no response received back. I insisted on a refund for the second night which they said was requested from expedia as this was how I booked the reservation. No refund has been forth coming, the hotel wouldn't answer the call from expedia to discuss the situation. You do not want to stay here. The amenities listed on the website are not accurate they don't have all of them. Hotel needs a major overhaul. Room was extremely small. Bed bugs were the worst part. I still feel like they are crawling on me.

DO NOT WASTE YOuR MONEY ! We were the only guests which should have been the first red flag. The room we booked was a Queen bed and we were given a Double with no explanation or offer to change. The box spring was wrapped in a plastic mattress cover. The pillows were sweat stained and the top sheet has a black mark on it from a shoe? The room had been painted and splatter was all over. Water marks on the ceiling and walls and peeling paint. Exposed electrical above an installed trim and a broken wall cover. A table with 2 stained chairs and a bar fridge in a dirty wooden cabinet. Dust and dirt on the laminate flooring. We had to ask for towels. The shower wasn’t something I would step into without shoes on. If the room hadn’t been prepaid and we hadn’t arrived after 9 pm, we would have left. Staff didn’t seem to understand our concerns. The hotel was not a Travelodge at the motel standard I’ve previously experienced (which was basic at best). This motel was a motel in transition that shouldn’t have been open. I have never has such a terrible experience in a motel and I travel a lot. Disgusting and extremely disappointing.

The room wasn't spotless. The washroom wasn't cleaned to the proper standard. The king size bed had the bedding. Plain sheets were used as fitted sheets. The bed was broken and uncomfortable. The quilt/duvet was just the liner. There was no quilt to speak of. The heater couldn't be used for risk of setting off the fire detector. As the heater had been cycled over the last few month. And, switching it on produced a burning smell, from all the dust accumulation in and on it. The 06h30 continental breakfast was non-existent. The attached restaurant was never opened at the quoted time. So, breakfast was never available for my timing requirements.

we change rooms because there were bugs in the room and no chair to sit the bath tub should be trowne oput .they gave us a other room that one had cacroachs .we ask for our money back .with a little harm twisting .im 85 and my wife is 81 we left at 1030 at night to drive back home to the state what a place they should be ashamed will never stay at a travelloge again my first and last time .

It’s really should not consider a hotel it’s should be a motel not worth the money they delay the breakfast to 8 am it’s a steal for this service no one in the hotel will get his breakfast at 8 am most of us has to got after 6 am , only this hotel put the poor breakfast at 8 am

The staff was super friendly. The room was very small. The floor looked clean but was unswept. The bed was fairly comfortable but the bedding was super thin and cheap as well as the curtains. I'm not sure how to discribe the comforter other than disposable. The curtains were thin and did not keep the sun out. The bathroom was very cramped and the shower tub was in disrepair but the water pressure was decent. Its an ok place for an overnight stay in a pinch.

Nothing was unique. The telephone in the room didn't work and despite repeated promises to fix it, nothing was done. The room was not made up the second day. The free breakfast next door was good though. The front desk staff were friendly but not especially helpful. The room was clean and had been renovated. The building needs a lighted sign out front so you can find the driveway at night. Likely we would not stay there again.

Place was freezing cold, rooms were in rough shape and very dated. Had to wait forever to check in because no one was at the front desk. Second night my room wasn't even cleaned or towels weren't replaced. Would never go back.

Amazing place to stay! Very friendly staff. I was given false information about breakfast and I over reacted in my first review! One staff member went and got donuts for the travellers to try and at least makeup for It there original cook is very sick and there newest cook won’t be back from out of country till mid next Week. The hotel was showing some age with a few broken windows ( not in our room) and the toilet seat needed replacing. No towel bars in bathroom. However the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy and any issues we had like getting the TV set up were dealt with immediately The room included a free breakfast however we planned to leave before 8:00am and the staff opened the restaurant an hour early to prepare us a meal, going above and beyond. Would stay here again.

Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk, and I had to wait for about 5 minutes before anyone showed up. Once in the room, the TV didn’t work, and despite calling the front desk three times, nobody answered. While the room was clean, it felt quite shabby and outdated. The shower was particularly unappealing, with some areas looking dirty. To make matters worse, I had trouble sleeping due to the noise from other guests on my floor, which kept me awake for most of the night. The staff was really disrespectful I asked an extra pillow and I would rather the person say the he could give me. I waited for 20 min when I come back to see what happened he was on his phone watching a game. Next day the breakfast didn’t have a coffee never see a breakfast without coffee awful.

While under renovation, reduce the price because certain expected basics like hot water were not available at least in my room. There was no toilet paper, no rod to hang clothes and the shower tap didn't turn. The curtain rod fell off the window, the bathroom door was missing a hinge and the security lock on the door into the room was broken. The staff were quite willing to fix things when asked but clearly this hotel is only adequate . You will be dry and warm, have a bed to sleep in and cold water but don't expect much else. The location is its best feature.

We enjoyed our stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Sarnia. This property is conveniently located on the edge of Sarnia, so easy to locate. The staff I are friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This property is very clean and quiet with restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this property and we will be back for future stays.

Someone told me to look at the room before taking, the floors were very dirty, the drawers were broken, no hangers when we came back 2nd night there were police around the building. My friends who live here say the would never stay in this area, I agree completely

I specifically picked this hotel for there amazing free breakfast and I’ve been here almost a week and every morning I go to the desk and ask if there is going to finally be breakfast and they look at me like I have 10 heads so absolutely frustrating especially when they tell you that they’re going to try their hardest for the next day and the next day comes and they’ve done nothing

The breakfast is provided by a third party is a mess. There was just one girl working there and was complaining about everything there. The eggs were like yogurt, potatoes were burnt and toast was also half burnt. Some guests were just going inside making their own coffees etc. and some guests from walk ins just left to see the inside establishment. Shouldn't offer such poor breakfast in such a poor place.

A giant crack in the bathroom ceiling. Stained tub. Not a single hook or hanger to your towel or clothes on. Not a single chair either. The so-called closet was broken and the dresser drawers were dusty and dirty. The continental breakfast is bad too.

Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is dated and a dinged up, but it was very clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was included at the restaurant next door but didn’t open until 9, so we weren’t able to enjoy it. We would stay here again. You get what you pay for lol

The room wasn't spotless. The washroom wasn't cleaned to the proper standard. The king size bed had the bedding. Plain sheets were used as fitted sheets. The bed was broken and uncomfortable. The quilt/duvet was just the liner. There was no quilt to speak of. The heater couldn't be used for risk of setting off the fire detector. As the heater had been cycled over the last few month. And, switching it on produced a burning smell, from all the dust accumulation in and on it. The 06h30 continental breakfast was non-existent. The attached restaurant was never opened at the quoted time. So, breakfast was never available for my timing requirements.

The visitors above us were pounding on the floor at 12:30 am and woke us up. No ice machine on property. Zero amenities, No "in room" coffee machine. Had to ask for toilet paper. The FREE continental breakfast doesn't start until 8:30 am , thats late to start serving breakfast for travellers.
