Our eco-friendly, cosy Cottage is surrounded by green fields with view to the Comeragh mountains and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still only 10 minutes’ drive away from Waterford City Centre and only 20 minutes drive to Tramore beach. The local village with Pubs (several!) and shops is within walking distance from the Cottage. Tom’s Alpaca Cottage is an ideal base to explore the South-East of Ireland and is the perfect place to relax during your travels in a friendly and comfortable environment. The small number of guests allows us to look after everyone individually and the manager, Tom, is a well-respected Irish Tour Guide with years of experience in looking after tourists visiting Ireland and is happy to give you tips for your travel journey. Our staff speak several languages (English, French, Spanish, German) and are always happy to help & give advice for your journey. If you are traveling with children, we recommend you to book one of our private family rooms. Located in the green belt outside Waterford City Centre we have great views of the Comeragh mountains and the starry skies. There are plenty of things to see and do nearby, ranging from sight-seeing and cultural activities in the urban centres of Waterford and Kilkenny, to outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, golfing, horse riding, surfing, fishing, kayaking, castle sight-seeing… Ask us if you have a particular interest and we will be more than happy to provide you with information. ... and not to forget, why not try our latest offer, Alpaca tea-time - come and get close to an Alpaca and mix with these very friendly animals and take a photo! Valid photographic ID must be shown upon arrival (e.g. passport or driving licence) Free parking is available, but guests are parking at their own risk. We will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.
