When you go into the lobby, there isn't one, instead it's a window with a small room and vending machine. There are people on the outside smoking, grilling and randomly walking around, it doesn't feel safe. When we walked into the room we could immediately see how filthy it was from the mud on the floors to the food stuck on the wall. The bed sheets, pillows, covers and frame all had dirt or grime on them. The table next to the TV was broken and peeling and is completely unsafe around small children, which I had with me. The HVAC unit was coming out of the wall and there was lots of flying bugs coming in through the cracks. We never even bothered to look into the bathroom. The pictures posted did not reflect the true environment of the Red Oak Inn. I immediately asked for a refund and I was not the only one to do so.

If we could put zero stars … we would… dump! No sleep, uncomfortable, couldn’t pay me to use this shower, loud, sketchy neighbors, no heat, unsafe door with broken locks, Sleep in your clothes, we had to for warmth.Stay away! Looks like place had entirely flooded & now moldy bottoms of everything, minus a cheap newer floor!

Tub did not work, drawers screwed together could not use, no real hot water, blow dryer did not work, floors and rugs were disgusting matted with filth, microwave had to be cleaned because previous customers nasty mess was still there, overall maintenance of the room was appalling...structural integrity needs to be looked at as it appeared the 2nd floor may fall down-concrete sections were scary to say the least. I WOULD LIKE AT A MINIMUM A PARTIAL REFUND!!!!! As a retired business travler, spending a quarter of my life in hotels, This hotel was the second WORST hotel I have EVER stayed in!!

This place was disgusting. The carpeted areas were absolutely soiled. I don’t know why they weren’t replaced or just thrown away. Stains everywhere. A bunch of flies. It’s cheap for a reason. I would’ve felt more comfortable pitching a tent outside to be honest.

Never again. Had to stay here as everything else was filled due to a snowstorm and airport closure. Crumbs in drawers. Smelled of smoke. Bathroom had mold. Floors were visibly dirty. Terrible experience. Do not stay.

The shower faucet was broken and I was unable to take a shower because the water leaked all over the floor. I found long hair I the shower and old soap… the bathroom had not been cleaned in a minute.

There were not blankets. The sheets did not fit our beds, so toes stuck out and were cold. The fridge made too much noise. The bathroom fixtures looked and acted old an beat up. But, I guess that is what you get for a hotel room that is much cheaper than most in the area.

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute hotel room here and didn’t even stay an hour the sink overflowed the entire room while the faucet wasn’t even running. The room stunk of cigarette smoke while it’s a “non smoking” room. overall will not be returning.

Room 101 smelled like stale smoke, was moldy and dirty and most everything was broken. When I complained after 2 days, we were offered room 108 which was amazing in comparison. I wish I had complained sooner. Not sure why they put us in the awful room to begin with. We won't be back.

This was a one night stay to attend a family event nearby. The hotel was adequate for our needs because we were not spending a lot of time there. It was a good place to shower and sleep. The service staff at the desk was excellent. There was a little confusion on the reservation so she gave us the walk in rate which was lower. Very much appreciated that. The place is old and could use some updating, but based on the price, it served our purposes just fine. It was a little dusty, but the sheets were clean.

Where do i begin. Room was dirty..2 towels in the room, i asked for extra towels and was told we dont have any right now. The air didnt work despite being set on 60.No microwave and the mini fridge needed to be defrosted badly. Overall if i could rate zero stars i would.

Our first room was strong smoke and mould smell. Dirty walls and floors, holes in the walls by beds. They gave us another room. This was somewhat cleaner, but the beds wore horrible! I have stayed here 6 times in the past years while it was a Red Roof Inn, basic but always WAS spotless. Now its not.

I called prior to booking to confirm late arrival after night game would be non issue receptionist who I late found out to be owner was very pleasant. The conditions we were met with are not fit for human housing. The gentleman at check in was very nice. I spoke to the owner at check out and I don’t believe the type of place she’s trying to run is what experienced. It was unbelievable. We had been up for 36 hours other than cat naps traveling to the football game. I believe the owner will resolve and continue to improve the place but what we had was unacceptable. We did not move bedding, laid our dirty clothes over the bed and stayed on top. Didn’t shower because I believe it would not have cleaned us.

The rooms are extremely small. The toilet didn't work properly. Constant noise and suspicious activity in the parking lots during the day and night. The driveway is a nightmare to get into and out of and is in desperate need of repair.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower, then this might be the place for you. If you want a clean room in decent shape with other amenities, then go elsewhere. The plaster was coming off the walls, the flooring in the bathroom was peeling due to all the water that gets on the floor, the wi-fi is nonexistent, and the room is nowhere near the level of clean I believe a hotel should be at. It is close to I-94 and other shopping centers and restaurants though; and it has direct access from the parking lot into your room.
