Very pleasant stay during Thanksgiving week. The single bedroom condo (upto 3 beds) is large enough for my entire family. We like all the amenities including daily yoga sessions, smoothies, laundry, complimentary valet and many others. The condo village is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Extremely convenient and safe. The Gondola right by the village took us to the mountain top, where we had a wonderful time playing with snow; just that the Gondola tickets unlike the condo stay’s cost is very pricy. Btw, the valet team is primpt on every retrieval request.

The Grand Residence is South Lake Tahoe was originally- a residence, where one could purchase 12 weeks or more at a time. Now it's a Marriott time share, and it's a block away from their other timeshare, Timber Lodge. The Grand Residence has a pool, hot tube, and a surprisingly good work out room, but it's not a resort with a bar, restaurant, or daily activities. It's quiet. no music at the pool. The rooms are large, and the full kitchen has modern appliances and is well appointed. One can walk a block to multiple restaurants, to the Heavenly Gondola, and it's perhaps 3-4 blocks to the casinos.

The resort is super accessible. The ski valet is great! Remember to drop your gears off at the valet and pick up at Heavenly Sports near Gondola. It's super convenient.

Perfect location in south lake tahoe, we where literally next door to all the places we love in tahoe. The sauna gym and steam room where great. The outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzis are well kept and very clean. Also the employees where very nice.

Beautiful resort, valet parking at no extra charge, nice pool and plenty of pool lounges, bars, restaurants, a d shopping within walking distance as well as an easy walk to the concert venue at Caesars. Serenity Spa was top notch for a massage!

Excellent location: walkable distance to the skating rink, gondola, cinema, shops. Great jacuzzi and pool for the kids, with sauna and steam room for the parents after the day of skiing. With the full kitchen, it felt like home away from home.

It would have been ideal if we would have been informed the pool and the hot tub were closed for repairs and renovation. Otherwise a great stay!

The property is due a facelift but the rooms are still nice. I had a studio this time, it was meh, a bit too noisy due to pool. I think prop needs more hot tubs. One night someone broke glass so that shut down pool. Love steam and sauna. Proximity to Heavenly is perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful if you ask. I can’t believe they shortened the checkout time. It is now 10 AM and then they act like they’re giving you a prize to let you check out at 11. It’s preposterous for the price they’re charging per night.

Room didn’t seem fully clean. Dusty nightstands and the bath drain was not draining very well. One of the towels had yellow stains. Centralized, but it is noisy. Convenient location though

The Property was not maintained we spent two full days working with staff to make unit habitable. Tim @ Heavenly Village Condos said he was going to work with Marriott to help with compensation nothing transpired. We had to leave the property and eat at Fire and Ice all in the party had food poisoning. I paid full price for accommodations. I should have charged for my time facilitating maintenance and cleanup. Carson Unit manager was hard to reach and did not reconcile our bill accordingly. I will say unit 4103 is now in tip top shape due to my wife and I and Guy the maintenance supervisor. Heavenly Village Condos and Marriott should provide a full refund.

The property is nice but we had issues from the moment we tried to check in. Room was not ready at 4pm. I had to inquire multiple times until the front desk was able to find us a room (at first she indicated it may be another 30 min!). The first room was great until we noticed water flooding the front entry. It appeared that the fridge was leaking. They offered to send maintenance but we opted for another room. Second room was fine until we noticed a very distinct curry smell. Turning the air on helped a little bit it was clear it was gear to stay. No other room was available and they offered to have housekeeping check. It was so late I told them to come back in the morning. The next day they tried air fresheners and an ionic neutralizer and it barely masked the stench. Someone from housekeeping even verified “this is horrendous”. We were only there two nights and while we made the best of our time there (we still had fun!) - the room situation was awful to say the least. There were a few folks who were nice who tried to assist but little could be done to remedy the situation.

Great location near gondola and in nice area to walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Very clean inside and out. Classy place. Staff was attentive. Everything about our stay was well done. They even found and sent us a toiletry bag that we left behind.

This is a vacation club/time share property and we rented from an owner. But the process and overall experience was like it was a typical hotel. Property was very nice. Excellent location. Room was nice overall; very clean. Beds were too soft. No vent fan in the bathroom, so humid after a shower with a lot of condensation on the mirror. No refrigerator in the room.

Room was dirty, a lot of wear on walls, window sills, kitchen cabinets, refrigerator was dirty. Sheets had an area of dried vomit , had to remove the sheet because it was too late at night to call the front desk. The bed was the worst! Big dent in the center, way too lumpy, did not sleep well at all. This used to be a nice hotel. Definitely needs a total remodel. Not Marriott quality.

Return stay after many years and surprisingly disappointed. This property is pretty warn out. Our balciny door was broken, street noise was very loud, toipet seat was completely broken off and hanging,. Everything is dates, worn and in need of a facelift. Employees were very friendly.

The whole property was great! Our room was beautiful & had comfortable beds. The pool was nicely heated & there were 2 jacuzzis that everybody was able to use. Great location in the middle of the village & everything was easily accessible! The only bad thing I had to say was the housekeeping fee - almost just as much as one night stay & also the mattress on the pull out couch was very very uncomfortable & my kid was unable to sleep very well.

Beautiful hotel, clean one bedroom with kitchen and jetted bathtub. Water was hot but pressure not very good. One of two sofas comfortable. Most important to us is a comfortable bed. Disappointingly, our bed was very uncomfortable and neither my husband, nor I were able to get a good night’s sleep. We both tossed and turned trying to get comfortable. Bed sank in the middle, mattress was way too soft. Felt like a bad mattress topper on a bad mattress. Surprisingly upsetting since everything else was really nice.

great room; large & comfy. big bathroom; great shower/jacuzzi bath; big kitchen supplied very well. great coffee with all the amenities. two comfort zones operated by thermostat. quiet space. loved the "security" of access to rooms. easy access to gondola. love the free "ski closet" provided by the facility. I really appreciate all the love and respect that everyone and every business granted to Retired Veterans! very kind!

The suite and pool were excellent: the room had so much sleeping and sitting space and the largest balcony I’ve ever encountered. The pool is the beautiful and huge, along with two hot tubs. So many restaurants and cafes are just doors away from the hotel and best of all, there’s a nice hike up the mountain just outside the hotel.

We like the location, kitchenettes and pool/fitness. Our room faced a busy street and was very noisy at night. We have stayed at this property many times, but this experience was a little disappointing. The room was very small, tired looking, the pillows are very uncomfortable and the coffee maker was difficult to work and my coffee was like warm. Also, we learned that the Grand Residences voted to not offer daily activities except a few fitness related items and they do offer them at Timber Lodge but aren’t shared between both.

The condo itself was great and well suited our family! The cons were the location because of noise and inconvenience of getting to it was a bit tricky. Not having any maid service was a bummer. The front desk staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The valet staff was a whole different story, they were very rude and were openly offensive if you didn’t go through the proper process for asking for your car which was very confusing and I witnessed them doing it to other guests as well.

The valet staff was a whole different story, they were very rude and were openly offensive if you didn’t go through the proper process for asking for your car which was very confusing and I witnessed them doing it to other guests as well.

Fabulous place to stay in South Lake Tahoe with nice amenities such as valet parking, fitness, spa, huge pool area with games. Also, extremely convenient and easy walks to all of the surrounding restaurants, shops, gondola rides, casinos, etc. The staff are so friendly and helpful at the front desk and communication is fabulous via text. Everything we needed was in our condo. Would stay here again.

Hands down one of the best if not the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The property was clean and the staff was amazing! I could not say enough nice things about how nice and helpful the staff was. If I could give this property more than 5 stars I would. It’s walkable distance to a beautiful hike as well as all the shops and dining. Will definitely be a go to when visiting Lake Tahoe.

Toilet seat was broken and was annoying to deal with. Front desk issued keys that didn’t work three different times. The topper was being denied late checkout of an hr due to too many people asking. Worst part was this location was chosen for how close it was to my work. No love for locals apparently. Only given excuses on how occupancy was high. Which is not my problem and never should be.

We enjoyed the stay at the Marriot facilities. My son had fun in the pool. The staff was very kind and accommodating. From the initial interaction with Valet to the front desk and cleaning staff, everyone made you feel welcomed with friendly greetings and a desire to make sure you were enjoying your stay.

The property is due a facelift but the rooms are still nice. I had a studio this time, it was meh, a bit too noisy due to pool. I think prop needs more hot tubs. One night someone broke glass so that shut down pool. Love steam and sauna. Proximity to Heavenly is perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful if you ask. I can’t believe they shortened the checkout time. It is now 10 AM and then they act like they’re giving you a prize to let you check out at 11. It’s preposterous for the price they’re charging per night.

The only problem was that the Expedia confirmation email indicated that the check in time was 3pm while Grand Residence insisted that their check in time was 4pm. The room was not ready until 5pm so we waited for 2 hours while many others received their room. It seemed like those that book with a 3rd party receive the last rooms.

The suite and pool were excellent: the room had so much sleeping and sitting space and the largest balcony I’ve ever encountered. The pool is the beautiful and huge, along with two hot tubs. So many restaurants and cafes are just doors away from the hotel and best of all, there’s a nice hike up the mountain just outside the hotel.

The resort is lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of shops and restaurants around the resort. The room was very comfortable. One note is that Hotels.com calls it "Heavenly Village Condos" but the building is branded as Marriott (and there is one on either side of gondolas) so it was hard to find the right place.

The Grand Residence is South Lake Tahoe was originally- a residence, where one could purchase 12 weeks or more at a time. Now it's a Marriott time share, and it's a block away from their other timeshare, Timber Lodge. The Grand Residence has a pool, hot tube, and a surprisingly good work out room, but it's not a resort with a bar, restaurant, or daily activities. It's quiet. no music at the pool. The rooms are large, and the full kitchen has modern appliances and is well appointed. One can walk a block to multiple restaurants, to the Heavenly Gondola, and it's perhaps 3-4 blocks to the casinos.

Beautiful resort, valet parking at no extra charge, nice pool and plenty of pool lounges, bars, restaurants, a d shopping within walking distance as well as an easy walk to the concert venue at Caesars. Serenity Spa was top notch for a massage!

Good place to stay everything is right there. Friendly staff. Dinning and shopping right outside your door. They make sure by 9 pm that the outdoor music stops and things quiet down outside. So, if you have an early morning the next day you can turn in without noise to keep you up. Would stay again if we are that way.

Stayed at this property several times in the past the price of the room's and $45 a night in parking the fact that they don't barbecue on the weekends for the kids they used to offer hamburgers and hot dogs free cookies and ice cream was disappointed you basically pay a lot more to stay here for a lot less services won't be staying here anymore

Our room was extremely loud. It faced a busy road, sat next to the laundry room, and shared an adjoining door with neighbors. The staff refused to change the room because it is privately owned, even though it is a Marriott property.

The unit was a bit in need of some maintenance..lack of electrical receptacles, furniture showing obvious signs of wear, faucet handle in Bathroom sink actually fell off when turning on the water, microwave had crumbs inside…in need of cleaning..lots of wear and tear on the unit in general..no housekeeping offered for our stay.

The location was great. Close to shops and restaurants and casinos. Pool was nice and also heated. The rooms we stayed in were really nice with nice views of the pool and courtyard. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area at another time.

The room, pool and common areas were excellent. Only minor issue with the room was that none of the outlets in on the nightstands worked. Point to note, there is no food, vending, bar, restaurant on premises but you are completely surrounded by a variety of options just steps away. The pool is always at 85 and the hot tubs are always 104, perfection. Overall I would absolutely stay here again!!!
