The swimming pool was cold so we didn't swim. The room was fine, including good black out curtains and it was quiet. However, we had dinner in the ground level restaurant. It took ages for our food to arrive and then my burger and chips were cold. I'm not sure whether I got a new meal or just my original meal microwaved.

The staff is friendly, warm and made us feel very welcome. Love the complimentary cookies as it was delicious and given to us warm. The facilities are great. The steam room and jacuzzi area is kept dry with the amenities such as shampoo and shower foam provided. The Buffet breakfast is excellent with a wide range of food and drinks. Love the salad veg as it is fresh from their garden and we harvest it directly by cutting what we want.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Customer service are great, very friendly front desk and even cleaners at our level. The morning breakfast is impressive in terms of spread. Most Asian cuisine can be found and western too. The only draw back is its location, a bit far away from shopping malls.

The reception and check in process was excellent and smooth. Welcome gift of 2x cookies was a great warming gesture. One of the negatives was upon entering the room was a strong cleaning chemicals odour rather than a nice room fragrance that greeted us. The other negative was the pillow case does not smell fresh too. Overall its still an above average stay at the hotel

The stay was okays until we found bed buds clawing out from my daughters pillow. Immediately called the front desk, house keeping guy was sent up n confirmed is bed bugs. Took photos,called his boss. The guy wss good, apologise to us regarding the unpleasant experience we had . Hotel offer to us changed of room (i mean we have to except it bcos is like close to 2am) waited for someone to pass us the new room key, when the reception staff arrived at hotel room door step, he give us a look like we are causing him inconvenience, pass us the key, didn't said anything , not even bothered to offer to send us to the new hotel room, go to the lift lobby and can't wait to go dowm, leaving us in shock. The whole night until we checked out, no one bother to reached out to us, checking are we alright, how are we doing after traumatised by the bed bugs. Feedback to the manager on duty only given his name card said will be dropping me an email regarding the whole incident. I am kind of disappointed with Hilton Group services. I can provide the bed buds clawing picture if requested

Located about 10 mins walk from JB City Square Mall, location was good. Good view overlooking the causeway. Breakfast was great with a good selection of Western and Asian selection. Rooms were clean but the shower area in our room needs more attention. Can see signs of molding from moisture and if not maintained regularly can be an issue pretty quickly. Gym and pool were nice.

The service is good but the swimming pool is quite disappointing, too small and crowded with a couple trying to be romantic in the pool while the kids were playing in there. As for the rooms, the wall is a bit too thin as I can hear the noises outside and some drilling sound coming from other levels.

Overall not much complain less the sound proofing. Even though we are at a corner suite, the noise from fellow travellers can still be heard. Especially the loud bang when room doors are being closed. Other than that all is what you can expect from a reputable hotel chain.

The room was small for triple occupancy. Our room had no view at all. In fact half of the rooms in this hotel are facing inwards facing other wings of the hotel building. So, i suggest do not offer this hotel as a choice for family vacation. 6 room nights were booked but found it wanting.

A quite long walk from the CIQ, and the nearby area is still under construction. Sorry to say the hotel itself is lacking of maintenance. Some furniture(most heavy sliding doors of the cabinet)and shower(some loose part) is hard to use.

Everything was good. Check-in was a breeze and service was immaculate. However, the shower door is slightly hard to open and close due to the bottom rubber. The pipes do make loud noises once you switch on the tap.

Initially planned to stay from 19-25 February but had to check out on 23 February to return back to Singapore due to a family emergency. Duty manager Ms Rachel Tan was very helpful and we got a refund back from the hotel after Expedia raised a refund request. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but we heard from other guests and online reviews so I decided to echo their opinions. The location is very near CIQ - walkable but because of the construction works and road works and general the roads in JB are not friendly to pedestrians so we usually e-hail or Grab to the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious - it’s our 2nd stay. We had connecting rooms so that’s really proactive on the hotel reception / booking team- my thanks! The staff team at the reception were excellent and friendly. No proper Q for the check-in and we had another group that tried to skip ahead of us but the staff was adamant that they wait their turn - again my thanks. There was a bit of wait but additionally staff came out to assist! Kudos!! The cookies were well appreciated but the welcome drink was overly sweet! An option for a lemon-infused cold water would be good since it was a hot day coming into JB across the causeway. The team reached out over the WhatsApp too - connecting to the guest over this channel can be intrusive for some but I welcome such interaction being used to the in-app chat of Bonvoy. Great effort to provide this additional channel. I am not booking through the Hilton Honor app so I did not manage my stay with it. In summary, great staff, great location and still an excellent hotel in JB! Hopefully the road works and construction will end quickly and better pedestrian walkways built and it’s a hassle for the Grab driver to drive.

Check in process was very slow. Even though there were 3 person in front of me. The whole check in process took me half an hour. Room had a smell but it was gone after awhile. Housekeeping was very slow. Was out for a couple of hours, when I came back, the room was not tidied up. But the staff were all very nice and smiley.

Hotel and staff were fantastic and the food was excellent. The only negative is there isn't anything around within walking distance as far as restaurants and shops. The hotel was great, room was large and comfortable and the staff in particular was amazing - friendly and professional. The biggest drawback is the hotel's location, surrounded by construction and it's not a particularly convenient or walkable area. You'll need transport to get anywhere.
