Room had a musty smell on arrival, likely the AC needed to be cleaned and filter needed replacing. Other than that the room was in good condition. Pool and gym was respectable though the jacuzzi was only partially operable. Staff did their jobs mostly correct. Good for the price I suppose.

First, I'll start with what the Citidines Salcedo can do better: - The elevators take a while during peak hours - The hallways on the room floors don't receive central AC which makes the wait for an elevator to arrive a warm wait. However the lobby & the elevator bays in the lobby are air conditioned. What they do great: I used to live in Salcedo Village and love the neighborhood. It's one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the Makati CBD. Jeepneys & tricycles aren't allowed in Salcedo Village making it a quiet neighborhood. There are green spaces such as Salcedo Park & the Ayala Triangle Gardens within walking distance & delicious (& aesthetic) restaurants appealing to an international crowd. The property is located around the block from the weekly Saturday Salcedo Farmer's Market with everything from artisan chocolates, local desserts, produce from local farms, & grab 'n go food. There is a 24 hour hamburger & burrito restaurant, Army/Navy, 2 doors down. I've stayed at Citidines properties in various cities & have found them to be a great choice for serviced apartments that are clean, minimalistic, conveniently located, at an easy price point. The adjoining restaurant has a great menu with a very good choice of breakfast items. However what really makes this place shine is the staff. I always call The Philippines "The Land of 100 Million Smiles." The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, & friendly making this place sparkle!

I love CITASDINE. I love the staff!!! They are the BEST. I love the area. The only complaint that I have is that each room needs to be completely aired out. When people eat, the food (like Chinese food) aroma sticks to the walls, curtains and specially carpet! Spraying perfume is not going to permanently MASK the odor! It wears off. And use Clorox and Lysol to remove the moldy smell that smelled like a wet rag. Mold is what I smelled in almost every hotels and houses that I have visited in the Philippines. Mold was caused by extremely wet season followed by stagnate heat. Maybe someone has better explanation. Sorry for being brutally honest.

It’s located in a nice part of Makati only a short walk to Ayala Triangle. The1 BR unit is spacious, complete cooking equipment and the staff are friendly. However we had a problem in one room that had mosquitos but we were transferred to another unit by the staff.

I cant remember the name of the guy at the front who recommended me to sign up for the asr points club, but thank you. The staff over the counter was very accomodating. The guys in the lobby were so amazing. Especially this guy wearing a brown polo shirt. Your kindness and willingness to help me with my stuff and making sure to walk me to elevator is so appreciated. (Unfortunately I wasnt able to get his name.) The hospitality, kindness and friendliness in this hotel, the peoplecin the lobby is unmatched. This is the only hotel for me when I visit Manila from now on.

Love this hotel. See my numerous reviews from prior stays. I will say that today at checkout was the first time the front desk staff did not seem friendly or welcoming. I’ve never dealt with the young man checking me out but he was very cold & seemed irritated that I was looking over the receipts & final bill. I always check and double check my ending bill and staff has always been kind & patient. He was definitely irritated and not happy. Not sure if he is new or just having a bad day but maybe management should reiterate customer service again to him. Other than that we had another amazing stay as usual and will return in a couple of weeks.

The hotel was ideally located for my trip. It was close to my office and only a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants in the Makati area. Great value accommodation with good size and well appointed studio room. The staff are very helpful and the check-in was a breeze. I recommend doing the online pre-check in. I would definitely stay here again.

A hidden gem in Salcedo. The location is on a more quiet street short walk to Ayala Triangle and all the shopping malls around Greenbelt. The hotel staff is extremely polite and rooms were very clean and simply furnished. Nice bathrooms with good quality amenities. There are a few restaurants on the street but much more a block or two away. Starbucks down the street as well as 7-11. The breakfast choices were quite varied and very good, freshly cooked and not a buffet. The gym was quite well kept, small but enough for my needs, the pool was wonderful offering great views. There is also a self service laundry which came in handy. Really enjoyed the property and would definitely stay again, quiet and unassuming place.

Overall a great stay. Good service, clean , location is in walking distance with restaurants etc. The only disadvantage is the breakfast nearby. I must admit, it’s an external cafe that works with the hotel and serve breakfast . The service is very bad and slow. The food quality . The waiters are really confused in the morning. I was waiting for my cappuccino for 13 minutes while my eggs Benedict arrived after 25 minutes and cold.

Room condition is average, there is some kind of food smell maybe because it has kitchen facility. Air con unit is directly blowing at bed & it's noisy too, makes sleeping very uncomfortable. Air quality from the air unit feels dirty. I feel there is still room for improvement in term of cleanliness level, for the price paid for. Breakfast is not great, I have tummy problem with the breakfast. For the room rate paid for, I feel it's overpriced for this type of standards.
