Candlewood Suites Sayre, PA

The room was very nice! Everything needed to cook was included in the kitchen including pans and cups. There was also a fridge to put food. The room was spacious and AC was included. There was also a TV in the room. On the first floor, there is also a place to do laundry and gym jf needed. Parking was also available.

Kitchen was very well equipped. Loved the bigger refrigerator. Nice to have a workout room.

What a great 2 day stay! I wanna start off by speaking about the staff and giving them their flowers. From the front desk clerk when checking in and out to the housekeeping service, they were all excellent, patient, and very polite. We were getting some work done at our house and because I have school and work from home, I needed a place to stay for a couple of days. Pros: The wifi is fast and very reliable! Firm but comfortable beds. Nice air control. Beautiful view (our room had the view of the hills and the sunsets). Kitchen has good size fridge, dishwasher, stove top, dishware. There's a lender locker in the common area where you can borrow board games, crock pots, wine glasses and more all free of charge! Dvd player in room with TONS of dvds you can borrow! Tv channels were great; even had HBO. All stores and restaurants are very close by. Provide Dove products (lotion, bidy wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap). Cons: No screen in window. We were on the 4th floor so if you have little ones or even dogs, keep window closed. Bathroom door had grime, dirt, and hand prints all over it. Shower pressure was painful. Toilet seat veryyy low. Rugs could use a deep clean (shampoo). Coffee cups as well as regualr cups were way too small. Hard to reach front desk in the mornings. Overall, our stay was great and the staff are seriously the heart of the hotel. They were incredible and again, they deserve their flowers. We would deff stay again!

It was exactly what we needed while traveling with our dog (or not). Full kitchen and stocked with adequate supplies. Rooms were spacious. It was a pleasant surprise to find a gym, laundry and lending library. Very clean! Great personnel who were friendly and helpful. Beds / pillows were sooo comfortable! I was very surprised by entire experience for the price. Booked another.

The room matched what was advertised. I was pleasantly surprised with what was offered there: free coffee and laundry. The free laundry was a big surprise since I have not been in any properties that offered that. Overall, I would come back again if I ever need to be in the area.

pet friendly

Ducked in here for a night to avoid driving through bad weather. Very nice front staff, room is spacious, pet friendly, easy in/out, easy parking, good value. Super clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. A safe refuge from the storm.

We enjoyed our two week stay with Candlewood Suites. It was our home away from home. The kitchen made our room very comfortable. Refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, small stovetop, and dishwasher all added to the feeling of home. This hotel even offered 24 hour coffee and a complimentary laundry. Housekeeping was great. Our housekeeper Hannah did a great job keeping us stocked with supplies. Overall we were very pleased. Our only complaint would be the quality of our TV. The picture was very dim, perhaps needing replacement?

Roaches in sink

Near Dunkin, Supermarket, Gas Station. Close to family I was visiting and about 20 minutes away from a Casino. Property was clean, Our room had slight mold in the shower, and shower curtain did not have a liner. It was one curtain that had to stay inside the tub to prevent a huge puddle of water on the floor. Our room smelled of urine on the window side of it. Assuming it was the rug. They offered febreze spray but it wasn't strong enough to rid the smell. Purchased s stronger febreze spray ourselves due to being told we could not change our room as they were there fully booked. Guests prior to us may have had pets in there. Overall our stay was good staff was very nice and accommodating.

Room smells so bad

Room had a bad odor. Things were not cleaned well, could see fuzzies, ripped tag, and dirt/dust on the ground.

Our room had more bugs then any hotel I have ever stayed at. First time staying there and will be the last. Centipede hanging on the ceiling, dead bugs on the windowsill. Looks like it hadn’t been dusted in a while. Just gross

With the kitchenette, it made staying there much easier than most hotels. Also, the room was quite roomy.

We were in town for 3 nights and this room was perfect for my wife and me. It was roomy, had multiple seating options, a combination desk/table, and a convenient kitchenette for preparing breakfast or evening snacks. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was spacious. One thing to note: the shower was on the verge of being a pressure washer. I'll let you decide if that's a positive or a negative. We will definitely be looking for more Candlewood Suites to stay in.

This is a wonderful hotel. I had a beautiful studio suite. There is a full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove, sink, and dishwasher in the kitchen. The room was very spacious. I was only there one night but would have loved to have stayed longer.

The room is quite large with convenience features and beds are pretty comfortable. Only complaint is the fridge being quiet noisy, especially during the night.

Great spacious stay

The roof is very thin. I can hear the LOUD foot steps from upstairs. Could not sleep at all.

The room was okay, the bathroom door stuck, desk chair was inoperable, utensils mismatched, food left in the freezer, no amenities, confusing billing, and Expedia cost me $21 more than the onsite rate. Desk clerks were very nice. But, too many staff and friends hanging out in the hotel.

Lovely building, awesome customer service for any staff member I came to meet. Other reviews mention cleaniness of the rooms thats a hit or miss but never ruined our experience. However the key cards failing four times was a bit of a headache. Lastly was the concern of being over charged. Using a 3rd party booking like trivago, expedia, etc. Be sure the prices align with what the hotel is actually charging. Nearly paid more for no reason. Besides that would gladly stay again!

I booked a one bedroom prior to arriving and when we arrived we were told that we had already checked in. They gave us a room that was less expensive than what I originally booked. When I confronted the front desk about the issue they told me it was Expedia's fault and that I cannot receive a refund. On top of that they had a nasty attitude. Service was horrible!

they charged me 100 dollars on my card for security only ... i already checked out and back home 4 hrs away..

Overall nice quiet hotel t8 be at the housekeepers and front desk worker was rude and pushy we asked for late check out we were harassed while trying to pack up . Would have been nicer if thevhousekeepers were t so rude and front desk worker was not so whiny and saying , "her ass is on the line"

Terrible experience. Room reservation was not what was given to me. One Double bed with 3 adults. Wanted to give me a roll out bed for my 6’3 husband. My mother was with us and is disabled needed more room. My husband was meeting us at the hotel after work and told him to just stay home because there was no room for him. We were out that way for a funeral. The GM Rohan blamed Hotels.com for the error, which was a lie. I have been using hotels.com for years. He also, put a hold on my debit card for the expense of my room, when I had chosen pay later at the hotel, on hotels.com. I currently still have a hold for $60 on my card that has not been released by Rohan. He said that they put hold in case of damage and will be released on departure and room is checked. Well here we are 24 hours later and still not released. The tub filled with water because the drain-stopper was broke. The 3rd floor smelled of cigarettes and some nasty odor. Terrible experience and will never stay at a candlewood hotel again. Rohan was arrogant, rude and blamed everyone else but himself for the room mishap.

This was more than we expected. We had to book a suite since my husband was having surgery. I was please it offered a full refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, stove, all the dishes we needed for 2 people.. If there are more people make sure you have enough dishes, cups etc. They don't make up your bed, which I was unaware of. Bed comfy. towels a bit skimpy. Pleasant stay and only minutes away from the hospital and dining.

Nice place, convenient to town.

Very nice experience. Suite was roomy and very well appointed with everything from silverware to hair dryer. Everything in the room felt very fresh and clean, we felt right at home. Easy access to the highway so location is super convenient. Next door to Dunkin Donuts and accross the street from convenience mart and Aldi's. My only slight gripe was the refrigerator was a little noisy. Not bad, but there was some type of issue. They offered us another room and seemed anxious to repair it. Overall I would rate this an easy five stars. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Close to dining

With the kitchenette, it made staying there much easier than most hotels. Also, the room was quite roomy.

Didn't have a real breakfast. No towels in the bathroom. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes/smoke. Wasn't given the room I had booked. The Manager did make it right and gave me another room and upgraded it. But still had no towels. Had to get them from the front desk. My friend had to go back to the front desk 3 times because the keys wouldn't work. They gave them a different room.

Wished I would have located the coffee!

Excellent service, clean and wonderful environment. We were living there with a baby, but had no issues at all. There is free coffee everytime available but no breakfast. We cooked mostly our own bf/lunch/dinner meals. They clean rooms after a week, but after putting a request they came and vacuumed carpet. Aldie is just across the road, walmart is also just 0.8miles. Over all I would rate it high.

Disappointed. TV remote did not work, no coffee in the morning, bed kinda lumpy.
