Schönes, modern renoviertes Hotel in toller Lage mitten in der Stadt. Das bereits viel gelobte Frühstück ist wirklich erstklassig, der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Einziges Manko sind die vielen Treppen, die sich leider nicht vermeiden lassen und dem alten Gebäude geschuldet sind. Aber das Personal hilft gerne.

We arrived by foot at the reception, because we have parked our car in a wrong parking lot. Because a festival was going on in the main square, the lady at reception upgraded our room and give us an inner courtyard facing one, with a terrace. The room was huge with very exquisite furniture and bath accessories, the room being a bedroom & living room combo. We have also got proper instruction, and discounted ticket to access the underground hotel parking. The only inconvenience was due to missing public directions to the hotel accessible parking lot, but this is understandable because of the current construction work.

Inneneinrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber ok und alles ist gepflegt und sauber. Sehr zentral gelegen mit Parkmöglichkeit im Parkhaus, welches direkt über das Hotel erreichbar ist. Schade, dass man als Hotelgast keine Ermäßigung erhält! Qualitativ hochwertiges Frühstück mit feiner Auswahl. Eierspeisen können nach Bedarf bestellt werden. Die Obstauswahl ist phänomenal! Toll ist auch, dass man den Pool vom Hotel Laurin mit benutzen darf. Klare Empfehlung!

This hotel is a 5-minute walk to either the bus or train stations in Bolzano. Very convenient, modern facility. It is a sister company to the Park Hotel, so we were able to use their lovely outdoor pool, which was a 2-minute walk away. Breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Stanza grande con vista sulla piazza Walter. Hotel pulito con il letto comodo e bagno sufficientemente grande. Ottima colazione. Garage non presente, l'auto si posteggia al -1 del parcheggio pubblico piazza Walter. Spa piccola ma ben tenuta. Arredi molto datati. Rapporto qualita prezzo non soddisfacente. Anche se in stagione di mercatini natalizi, 444 euro per una tripla, a BZ, sono tanti. Pensavo, lette anche le recensioni, che l'hotel in sè fosse più accogliente e moderno.

Hotel Greif is a lovely properly. Old town Bolzano is not that large and the hotel is right there off of Walthaplaz. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station and 7 minutes to the bus station-they are adjacent to one another. There are plenty of great restaurants just steps away. The rooms are a decent size for Europe-with bathrobes and slippers in the room. The room was clean and quiet with a tea and coffee maker in the room along with tea and cofee. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, fruit, choice of eggs made to order, breads, cheeses, meats, yogurt, some vegetables and desserts. I would easily stay here again. It is a lovely hotel in a great location. You will not be disappointed should you chose to book this property.

We stayed 2 nights in a room with stairs up to the bedroom. Our air conditioner did not work which we reported to the front desk after the first night. The second night it still was not working and it was super uncomfortable and hot so both nights with little sleep. The stairs down from the bedroom loft were so noisy that it was impossible to not wake up your partner if you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or up early the next morning.Seating in the room was not overly comfortable as well. Great location and the staff were very nice. The problem was probably just our room which was 304.

Fantastic location for exploring Bolzano’s main sights by foot! Never expected a grand piano and wet bath/sauna in the room and view of Walther Square. Wow, what a lovely surprise! Great room amenities, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Excellent location on historic square with parking garage. Our room was on top floor and bedroom in the loft. Only one tiny little window in lower section and zero airflow or way to cool room as a/c wasn't permitted to be turned on yet according to front desk staff. Floor lamp didn't work, and one bedside light wouldn't stay on. Had to request a fan to cool off the place and kinda funny that it only came with a 4 foot cord so couldn't put it near the small window to blow in the cooler air. Otherwise a nice hotel.

Great location on the main square of Bolzano, albeit the bells from the Cathedral might keep you awake at night. The breakfast was excellent with great local produce and nice service. I liked the gym as well which was very well-equipped for a small European hotel. The hotel had a couple of free bikes which I used to tour the city, and their reception staff were very nice. On the other hand, I was placed in a top-floor room which was a slightly odd layout with the bed on a mezzanine level reaching into the attic roof. The room had only a sky-light and a small window; I found it a bit odd and the living area wasn't laid out in a conducive way to sit and relax. Also, the heating was quite fierce. I found the room very hot and dry and had to have the skylight open during the night as the hot air gets trapped in the roof where the bed is.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Service. Das Frühstück ist Weltklasse!!! Allein deshalb sollte man hier übernachten. Die Roof Top Bar ist auch sehr schön. Nur die Betten waren mir etwas zu hart.
