Absolutely brilliant hotel. The entertainment team work so hard & are great with the kids who adore them. In particular, Bouba, Elena & Maria were amazing. The Candymen are also fantastic & were the highlight of our trip! The main Candyman was also so good with the kids as well as being incredibly talented. The shows are top level, well worth booking! The rooms are really modern, clean & a great size though the balcony is small. The bar staff were also lovely & helpful & great with younger guests as were the cleaners. There were a few small issues with our stay that stopped me giving it the full 5*. The 1st was that the air con in our room wasn’t working. We reported this twice before maintenance came. They eventually agreed it wasn’t working but left & never came back so it remained broken for our stay. Although the food is largely good & labelled, not all items were labelled clearly with allergens. It would also be nice if there were desserts available to cater for more dietary requirements (there’s only so much melon you can eat!) & there weren’t many light snacks available in the day, particularly for those with dietary issues. The final food issue was one of our party got food poisoning from the buffet which was reported but with no reaction. The final frustration was the sun loungers which isn’t unique to the hotel. By the end of our stay the majority of loungers were reserved by 7.30am, even though on multiple occasions, the reserved chairs remained empty all day

I travelled to the Bahia Principe Fantasia with my Wife, for a 4-night stay to celebrate the end of the Summer Holidays... we didn't bring the kids! We enjoyed a swim-up room / suite which was clean, spacious and had a wonderfully large bed, sofa and impressive bathroom complete with rainfall shower. Our swim-up was East facing which meant we got glorious sunshine until about 1pm, at which point we moved to the main pools in the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the adults only infinity pool, although there are less sunbeds in this area so it's not always a given you can get a spot. Positives: Good food, with 3 al a carte restaurants which I'm told are all fantastic. We ate in the steak restaurant and it was very nice indeed. Breakfast is very good Bars are great. Soft drinks and beer are on the customers side of the bar so you can fill / refill as much as you want without having to wait. The hotel is very clean and you can't miss the dedicated team who are working quite literally around the clock to maintain standards Mini-bar is refilled every day. Pool towels can be changed as often as you like. Negatives: There are a lot of kids. Occasionally, they get into the adults only pool / area. If you find a staff member they will kick them out, but the area is not routinely patrolled and the presence of kids is annoying. The entertainments team are often of the opinion that the louder the music is, the more fun everyone is having. Someone should tell them to turn it down

Very nice room and property. A lot of swimming pools. They are heated, yet the 1st plunge was still quite cold. The heavy winds at times did make it feel even colder. When the sun was out, this was less of a factor. There are 3 a la carte restaurants, you need the room number to book, this was for our stay unfortunately only possible for 2 of 3 on the last 2 days even though we tried to book immediately upon receiving the room number the 1st day. The volume of the entertainment was loud. In the bar the live bands were using a volume that could have suited an outdoor festival, which made us leave earlier than we would if the music would have been less loud. Although it is not allowed to reserve beds around the pool, if you look outside as from 7 in the morning, a lot of people are laying down towels. We did manage to find a spot each day without this practice, though it was sometimes a challenge to get even 2 beds without a towel (no people). I personally would have taken away all the towels that were laid down prior to 10:00 if no people were on them. The food was very nice and the selection changed each day. Delicious pizza and the kids buffet was much to the linking of our children. Sometimes you have to queue to get inside and be seated, yet this usually goes quite quick. There is a lot of noise in the dining room as the acoustics could be better, some sound dampening elements on the ceilings and partitions between sections could go a long way. We would definitely return.

Fabulous hotel along with such happy staff. Food at the buffet is excellent, always plenty of choice....food & service at the A La Carte needs work !! Waiters not interested & food not as good as it should be. Pools are so good...very clean but the pools ides/tiled walkways are lethal...accidents everyday with people, kids & adults, slipping up....along with lots of cracked tiles which are like glass. I cut my foot on one but couldn't be bothered to complain....but there are far too many broken tiles along with all the tiles need to be changed to non-slip before there is a serious head injury !! Totally disagree with having to pay for entertainment in the theatre !!

This is one of the cleaniest hotel that I have been to. Everything is well maintained and you can see the staff working hard everyday to keep everything clean. I wish the buffet had more authentic food but there was a lot of choice and even a small section for the kids. It was also my first time in a place where you have to serve yourself a drink around the day since there is no servers to bring it to you at the pool. You also need to reserve your chairs early in the morning if you want to have a place at the pools because at 10am there is no more chairs available.

This hotel should be perfect in every way. Sadly, we were there when some major construction was happening resulting in a large area being out of bounds. The construction then expanded into areas that were still open such as in the toddler splash pool. We had to stop our son using it as there were tools left lying around and open drains etc. Various areas randomly were taped off at different times so overall the hotel just didnt feel safe with a 2 year old so we were always a bit on edge.When we mentioned this to reception, they said they didnt think it was unsafe (despite us showing photos of another child picking up tools left at the side of the pool!) and even when we wrote a formal complaint, reception said they couldn't do anything about it and passed us the email of head office. Head office sent a standard 'sorry you were inconvenienced' letter but have failed to address the actual problem! The resort looks stunning and without the construction work, im sure it would have been fabulous. The a la carte restaurants are definitely where you want to eat as the buffet is loud, repetitive and generally just mediocre food. The shows are great and the rooms are fantastic.

Hotel was generally great with loads of space around the pool, room was nice with good views, a wide selections of food options, staff were friendly and there was always loads of activities. Only negatives are I become unwell believed due to food (due to questionable taste of an item and symptoms) and not saying it’s related but many of the cups and plates often looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly, life guards around the pool had next to nil focus on the pool, so don’t assume they are watching, some areas like outdoor stairs need a bit of a refurbishment with lights hanging off the steps, there was some loud refurbishment work taking place which it would have been nice to know about and the evening shows are a bit repetitive.

Zona Piscina pericolosissima, pavimentazione NON idonea ad una zona bagnata come il bordo piscina! Rischi di cadere sempre, anche camminando lentamente e stando attenti: una cosa in accettabile !!! Da rifare urgentemente, veramente molto pericolosa, varie parsone sono cadute, alcune con botte molte gravi! C’è da avere ansia a stare nella zona piscina

I can honestly say this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel itself was immaculate, the staff were incredible and the food and activities they put on for the kids was just next level. We spent 10 days there and we did not want to leave. I literally do not have a bad word to say - 10 stars!!!

We enjoyed our stay. However, there was construction being done while we were there and a foul odor of sulfur coming from the construction. Most staff very friendly, but there were a couple who were rude. Need drink menu. Only permitted one show, had to pay for others. Only permitted one restaurant reservation per visit.

The property was nice. It’s definitely not ALL inclusive. Fresh squeezed OJ in the morning is extra. All the free alcohol tastes like water. The beer is not good. The Buffett is the Buffett. First day is good probably because you are hungry from traveling. The pool is very nice. The activities are not that great. The rooms have AC but don’t get that cool. The lowest temperature setting is 18°C and our room never got colder than 22°C. There are 3 restaurants on the grounds. Italian, Japanese and Steak. We were most excited for the steak restaurant but extremely disappointed. The steak was extremely under seasoned and even though we asked for medium the steak was over cooked. Japanese was ok and Italian was good but I had my meal taken back because it tasted like I was eating salt. Also there are cockroaches is the lobby bar.

Our room was never cleaned properly, 3 days I requested the floors to be cleaned and this didn't happen. Mini bar consists of a can of beer and 3 soft drinks that is all. Bed sheets were not changed once for the whole 9 nights. Our neighbours in our room had a fight on their first night, and then every day from this we had nothing but drunken noise waking up our kids. Had to wait for food as kept running out, never offered a drink when we sat for dinner had to chase staff down just to get a drink. Food was always cold, nothing is hot apart from pasta if you request to have it cooked fresh in front of you, plates and glasses were rotten EVERY DAY.

Pool temperature was below 20 and un enjoyable for kids. Cockroaches everywhere even in the food hall and worst One i saw was running over the bread. Zone 7 smells like drain and the TV wasn’t working in the room. Looks like I need to bring hdmi to connect my laptop with tv to watch any entertainment

Rooms are great, huge, clean, comfortable beds with a nice bathroom. Kids facilities including kids club, shows/mini disco are excellent. The location is fine, gorgeous views of the sea and if you're willing to walk to Los Agios, the best meals we had all week was at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. The problem with the hotel, for us, was the food. The breakfast was fine, we didn't use the lunch buffet as we preferred the local restaurants. The dinner buffet was a huge disappointment. The freshly cooked meat and fish were flavourless/over cooked. The salads were regurgitated using leftovers. We felt everything lacked flavour. The house wine is pretty terrible in our opinion. However, the a la carte restaurants were a bigger disappointment. The kids loved making their own pizzas at the Italian but our seafood pasta was flavourless and the fish overcooked. The tiramisu was the same as we'd tried at the buffet the previous evening. The steakhouse was a disaster for us, all four adults ordered the entrecôte and sent it back. We tried to fill up on the chips and dessert, same cheesecake as the buffet. The Manager was useless. I'm pretty sure that the kitchen used is the same throughout the hotel. We cancelled the Japanese and ate out the last two evenings. So overall, the kids loved it and the staff and service were great, the food for the adults, in our opinion is not up to scratch.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. The entertainment team work so hard & are great with the kids who adore them. In particular, Bouba, Elena & Maria were amazing. The Candymen are also fantastic & were the highlight of our trip! The main Candyman was also so good with the kids as well as being incredibly talented. The shows are top level, well worth booking! The rooms are really modern, clean & a great size though the balcony is small. The bar staff were also lovely & helpful & great with younger guests as were the cleaners. There were a few small issues with our stay that stopped me giving it the full 5*. The 1st was that the air con in our room wasn’t working. We reported this twice before maintenance came. They eventually agreed it wasn’t working but left & never came back so it remained broken for our stay. Although the food is largely good & labelled, not all items were labelled clearly with allergens. It would also be nice if there were desserts available to cater for more dietary requirements (there’s only so much melon you can eat!) & there weren’t many light snacks available in the day, particularly for those with dietary issues. The final food issue was one of our party got food poisoning from the buffet which was reported but with no reaction. The final frustration was the sun loungers which isn’t unique to the hotel. By the end of our stay the majority of loungers were reserved by 7.30am, even though on multiple occasions, the reserved chairs remained empty all day

I travelled to the Bahia Principe Fantasia with my Wife, for a 4-night stay to celebrate the end of the Summer Holidays... we didn't bring the kids! We enjoyed a swim-up room / suite which was clean, spacious and had a wonderfully large bed, sofa and impressive bathroom complete with rainfall shower. Our swim-up was East facing which meant we got glorious sunshine until about 1pm, at which point we moved to the main pools in the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the adults only infinity pool, although there are less sunbeds in this area so it's not always a given you can get a spot. Positives: Good food, with 3 al a carte restaurants which I'm told are all fantastic. We ate in the steak restaurant and it was very nice indeed. Breakfast is very good Bars are great. Soft drinks and beer are on the customers side of the bar so you can fill / refill as much as you want without having to wait. The hotel is very clean and you can't miss the dedicated team who are working quite literally around the clock to maintain standards Mini-bar is refilled every day. Pool towels can be changed as often as you like. Negatives: There are a lot of kids. Occasionally, they get into the adults only pool / area. If you find a staff member they will kick them out, but the area is not routinely patrolled and the presence of kids is annoying. The entertainments team are often of the opinion that the louder the music is, the more fun everyone is having. Someone should tell them to turn it down

Staff were amazing and so were the shows. The room was lovely. We did have a lot of mosquitos in our room but i dont think they can do much about that. The pools were lovely. Only thing that could be better was the mini disco and kids clubs were targetted at very young children and my daughter who had just turned 8 felt it was a bit babyish for her but she is too young for the teen sessions. If there was a family disco that would be better but overall the place was fantastic and we would definitely go back.

I would have given five stars all-around if not for the first room we were given which was infested with ants, including my daughter’s bed. Thankfully, we were moved to a new room which was fabulous. The property itself is immaculate, the staff is very accommodating and the food was surprisingly good, especially the Italian and Steakhouse. The Japanese restaurant was the least favorite, and would be better served as an authentic Spanish restaurant. The adult pool area was most welcome, although heating the water would be an added bonus. The spa was a bit underwhelming as well as the treatments. Overall, it’s a very solid option for an all-inclusive resort.

The property was nice. It’s definitely not ALL inclusive. Fresh squeezed OJ in the morning is extra. All the free alcohol tastes like water. The beer is not good. The Buffett is the Buffett. First day is good probably because you are hungry from traveling. The pool is very nice. The activities are not that great. The rooms have AC but don’t get that cool. The lowest temperature setting is 18°C and our room never got colder than 22°C. There are 3 restaurants on the grounds. Italian, Japanese and Steak. We were most excited for the steak restaurant but extremely disappointed. The steak was extremely under seasoned and even though we asked for medium the steak was over cooked. Japanese was ok and Italian was good but I had my meal taken back because it tasted like I was eating salt. Also there are cockroaches is the lobby bar.

Beautiful hotel in every aspect, from the reception area to the terraces, bars, restaurants, pool areas & the Junior Suite I stayed in was extremely spacious and comfortable. Only slight downside was my suite had an adjoining door to the next room & I was very aware of the guests in there as I could hear everything.

C'est notre 2ème séjours avec les enfants. Nous apprécions pleinement les lieux, les piscines, les shows, et le buffet. Les chambres sont très belles, spatieuses et propres. L'endroit est très propre. Le service au buffet était correct mais moins bien que l'année passée: à 2 reprises notre tables a été débarassée et mise à disposition pour d'autres invités alors que nous nous servions au buffet, les serveurs n'étaient pas très réactifs lors de la commande des boissons. Finalement les shows ont en mis plein les yeux, nous en gardons un très bon souvenir.

Review from the point of view of a couple without kids: We stayed in the adults only swim up suite, overlooking the sea. The room and pool were stunning and the seaview location was very quiet, which some may like. If you prefer pool noise, request to have a swim up suite that's overlooking the pool. There is an adults only infinity pool which overlooks the sea. There is a security guard manning the area some of the time, however for a part of the day, nobody keeps watch and many adults choose to bring their children into the pool. This was disappointing as although we realise it's a child friendly hotel, we chose to stay here under the assumption that we could relax in an adult only area. The remainder of the hotel is child friendly so we hoped that this small area would be our peaceful zone. This was the biggest flaw in our opinion. Other than this, it's a great hotel with lots on offer. If you are a family with children, it's a great place to stay.

Fantastic resort. The staff work tirelessly to ensure a 5 star experience. The highlight was the kids club team who were amazing with the kids throughout our stay. Resort is big enough with so much activities that it keeps you entertained for the entire stay.

The hotel is gorgeous. That is about it. The service is beyond poor, you are just ignored and by the time you have waved someone down they look at you like you are something on the bottom of their shoe. I got food poisoning from the buffet restaurant after 1 week and ended up in hospital at my own cost. the hotel didn't care. When we rang for emergency assistance reception answered the phone and then ignored us, when we went to reception as they would not answer the phone, they said they were too busy. I was lying paralysed on the floor of my bathroom due to the food poisoning. My mums room - the ceiling in the bathroom had a bad leak, the ceiling partially came down, and she slipped. no answer from the reception on the phone. had to get a passing bell boy to help contact them. Then again we were ignored and nobody came to look at the leak, it Took me to go to reception where I was treated awfully by the men on reception and ended up crying. But the ladies were kinder. Do not waste your money on this uncaring, unprofessional and generally poor quality hotel.

Our room was never cleaned properly, 3 days I requested the floors to be cleaned and this didn't happen. Mini bar consists of a can of beer and 3 soft drinks that is all. Bed sheets were not changed once for the whole 9 nights. Our neighbours in our room had a fight on their first night, and then every day from this we had nothing but drunken noise waking up our kids. Had to wait for food as kept running out, never offered a drink when we sat for dinner had to chase staff down just to get a drink. Food was always cold, nothing is hot apart from pasta if you request to have it cooked fresh in front of you, plates and glasses were rotten EVERY DAY.

Another fantastic stay at the Bahía Príncipe Fantasía in Chafiras. The staff is wonderful and the facilities are always kept up to an outstanding standard (we saw NO DIFFERENCE in two years). The food has also greatly improved since our last stay (it was great then, now it’s fantastic). Our little one loved it and we did too! We will be back.

To begin with, we experienced a significant pricing discrepancy related to our children’s ages. Although we correctly inputed their ages (both over 2 years old) during the booking process, they were incorrectly classified as “babies,” resulting in unexpected charges at check-in. To make matters worse, we were asked to pay at the current daily rate rather than having the charges aligned with our original booking date. Despite trying to resolve this at the hotel, support from both customer service and hotel staff was minimal, leaving us feeling disregarded and disappointed. We had paid specifically for a sea view room for a personal reason but were given a view of a footpath instead. While we were eventually offered a new room, it wasn’t until the evening of our second day—by which point we had unpacked and our children were settled. The delayed offer did little to resolve the issue or compensate for the inconvenience. We were also disappointed to learn that while the child pricing bracket covers ages 2 to 12, the children’s activities were restricted to children aged 3 and above. We cancelled the Japanese and ate out the last two evenings. So overall, the kids loved it and the staff and service were great, the food for the adults, in our opinion is not up to scratch.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights during August along with three other families. The hotel is huge and beautiful and staff are very friendly. There is something for everyone, whether you fancy the adult pools, children's pool area, kids games room, spa or the infinity area. We stayed in the junior suite and we had the most beautiful sea view where you could walk along accessing the gate with your wrist band. These gates get locked at 8pm but you can still get back by walking around to the front. Lovely scenery! Our room was lovely and spacious and very clean. It is quite windy but still very warm. I needed a cardigan the first two nights but after that it warmed up. The buffet was ok, as expected. It can get repetitive, so it was great to break it up with the three restaurants that are included within the all inclusive package. These were booked prior to arriving through their app. Asian, Italian and the steak house. They were all great but my favourite was the Asian restaurant. It was spot on! You are also entitled to two shows which were great! Again, you will need to book through their app. For those that don't fancy the buffet during lunch, there is a fast food option by the pool area where you can order burgers, chicken wings, chips and plenty of salads and fruit. Imagine ordering at McDonald's, same way using your room number. I also recommend you check in online prior to arrival as this will save you time.

Everything was outstanding! The room was spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with facilities in excellent condition. The entertainment options for both adults and kids were fantastic, and the variety of food offered was very good. Plus, the view was absolutely stunning. While the location is conveniently 15 minutes from the airport, it’s a bit far (about a 30-minute drive) from the main tourist hub, Avenida Las Americas. Additionally, it would have been great to see halal food options included, as these were unavailable.

Hyggelig personell og bra renhold. God og meget variert utvalg av mat og drikke. Litt bråkete i den store matsalen, men de hadde et alternativ som var stillere og et utealternativ. Mye opplegg for mindre barn og for familie med mindre barn. Underholdning av varierende art på kveldene. Flott sted med fire basseng for familem og et for de minste og en avdeling hvor det bare skulle være voksne.Ingen fin badestrand i nærheten. Langt til badeland på denne årstiden(jul). Veldig varierende taxipriser.

Review from the point of view of a couple without kids: We stayed in the adults only swim up suite, overlooking the sea. The room and pool were stunning and the seaview location was very quiet, which some may like. If you prefer pool noise, request to have a swim up suite that's overlooking the pool. There is an adults only infinity pool which overlooks the sea. There is a security guard manning the area some of the time, however for a part of the day, nobody keeps watch and many adults choose to bring their children into the pool. The remainder of the hotel is child friendly so we hoped that this small area would be our peaceful zone. This was the biggest flaw in our opinion. Absolutely brilliant hotel. The entertainment team work so hard & are great with the kids who adore them. In particular, Bouba, Elena & Maria were amazing. The Candymen are also fantastic & were the highlight of our trip! The main Candyman was also so good with the kids as well as being incredibly talented. The shows are top level, well worth booking! The rooms are really modern, clean & a great size though the balcony is small. The bar staff were also lovely & helpful & great with younger guests as were the cleaners. There were a few small issues with our stay that stopped me giving it the full 5*. The 1st was that the air con in our room wasn’t working. We reported this twice before maintenance came. They eventually agreed it wasn’t working but left & never came back so it remained broken for our stay. Although the food is largely good & labelled, not all items were labelled clearly with allergens. It would also be nice if there were desserts available to cater for more dietary requirements (there’s only so much melon you can eat!) & there weren’t many light snacks available in the day, particularly for those with dietary issues. The final food issue was one of our party got food poisoning from the buffet which was reported but with no reaction. The final frustration was the sun loungers which isn’t unique to the hotel. By the end of our stay the majority of loungers were reserved by 7.30am, even though on multiple occasions, the reserved chairs remained empty all day

Very nice room and property. A lot of swimming pools. They are heated, yet the 1st plunge was still quite cold. The heavy winds at times did make it feel even colder. When the sun was out, this was less of a factor. There are 3 a la carte restaurants, you need the room number to book, this was for our stay unfortunately only possible for 2 of 3 on the last 2 days even though we tried to book immediately upon receiving the room number the 1st day. The volume of the entertainment was loud. In the bar the live bands were using a volume that could have suited an outdoor festival, which made us leave earlier than we would if the music would have been less loud. Although it is not allowed to reserve beds around the pool, if you look outside as from 7 in the morning, a lot of people are laying down towels. We did manage to find a spot each day without this practice, though it was sometimes a challenge to get even 2 beds without a towel (no people). I personally would have taken away all the towels that were laid down prior to 10:00 if no people were on them. The food was very nice and the selection changed each day. Delicious pizza and the kids buffet was much to the linking of our children. Sometimes you have to queue to get inside and be seated, yet this usually goes quite quick. There is a lot of noise in the dining room as the acoustics could be better, some sound dampening elements on the ceilings and partitions between sections could go a long way. We would definitely return.

Family suite was fantastic and hotel was really clean. Food was ok, could have been better. Some staff were rude at the à la carte restaurants and reception was always busy. Had a leak in our room, but was fixed quickly by the maintenance team. Hotel was very big and extremely busy as soon as half term hit.

The property was nice. It’s definitely not ALL inclusive. Fresh squeezed OJ in the morning is extra. All the free alcohol tastes like water. The beer is not good. The Buffett is the Buffett. First day is good probably because you are hungry from traveling. The pool is very nice. The activities are not that great. The rooms have AC but don’t get that cool. The lowest temperature setting is 18°C and our room never got colder than 22°C. There are 3 restaurants on the grounds. Italian, Japanese and Steak. We were most excited for the steak restaurant but extremely disappointed. The steak was extremely under seasoned and even though we asked for medium the steak was over cooked. Japanese was ok and Italian was good but I had my meal taken back because it tasted like I was eating salt. Also there are cockroaches is the lobby bar.

This is our 4th time at this hotel and really can’t fault it however we booked through Expedia and I wouldn’t again as after booking was a further large expense on top of price for luggage and seats on plane etc through ryanair . This was for 3 people I initially priced the holiday through another site and could have saved myself money with transfers added in as well

This was our second stay at the hotel and we would definitely recommend it! The staff are all fantastic, friendly and so helpful from the reception desk to the bars and the entertainment team work so hard, the kids all adore them (our child had talked about them since our last visit and was so happy that they remembered her!)
