Property is nice, convenient with some shops and eateries just downstairs. Food selection within walking distance of the area is so-so, not many varieties. The R&F Mall itself is rather quiet, but there are a few pretty good massage shops upstairs that are very reasonably priced. The 3bedroom unit we stayed in is clean, and the view was nice. It was abit noisy in one of the bedrooms facing the busy road leading to the checkpoint. The condo has great amenities.

Property is nice, convenient with some shops and eateries just downstairs. Food selection within walking distance of the area is so-so, not many varieties. The R&F Mall itself is rather quiet, but there are a few pretty good massage shops upstairs that are very reasonably priced. The 3bedroom unit we stayed in is clean, and the view was nice. It was abit noisy in one of the bedrooms facing the busy road leading to the checkpoint. The condo has great amenities.

Very good especially for the price paid. The bed was very very firm and not to my liking. Hence the 3 star comfort rating; everything else was great. You are renting an apartment in a large building so many residents as well as some visitors. The facilities were nice and not really populated. Being Australian we spend a lot of time outside and swimming so the kids love the kids rooms, playground and pools and we had everything to ourselves. I don’t think Malaysians have a strong swim culture as the guards at all the hotels we stayed at (not only this one) were very concerned about the children and asked that they wore swim vests, my 6 year old is a strong swimmer and my one year old is learning that if he falls into the deeper water he sinks, I do pluck him out quickly when he does fall in. The swim vests don’t teach them anything in my philosophy it’s better that they experience sinking and their own limitations. It’s just something to consider I suppose as we were a bit surprised at how actively the staff cared for the children’s safety around the water, maybe being a swim vest if you plan to swim with small children. It was nice that they had such concern. Check in and out you’ll need to arrange with the staff, it’s easy and they are very responsive. Just make sure that you follow the location instructions exactly. Screen shot the information incase like me you lose internet connection and can’t use WhatsApp or check your emails when you arrive also have a phone.

Close to jb immigration, 15-20 mins walk , with dedicated overhead sheltered bridge. Apartment a little run diwn, but ok. Reasonably clean, and with 4 aircinds in a 3 bedroom. Tv super small, comes with u tube n google. Staff friendly, bedding ok, kitchen utensils standard with oven n microwave. Swimming n children okayground available on 4th floor. Lits if food around rf area. Walkabe to city square or yse grab to go further. Overall a much better stay than expected except for the many small roaches running around.

C’est dommage !!! L’appartement est très bien, spacieux (75m2) et sympa. Beaucoup de règles avec amendes à la clé ce qui paradoxale car après avoir enlevé les chaussures avant d’entré, j’ai marché dans l’appartement en chaussettes et au bout de 10 minutes, elles étaient carrément noires. Le ménage est inexistant. La literie est bonne. Le Check-in se fait de 14h00 à 18h00 et pour ceux qui arrivent plus tard, il’ faut payer un supplément surtout que la personne qui vous rejoint pour le Check in habite dans le même immeuble.

Location was near the Singapore border. It is right by a mall. Everything I needed (grocery store, restaurants) was around me. Convenient location. Property is big, clean. What would have been made the place nicer..... nicer shower gel and better internet. The internet was intermittent, non existent in some rooms. The staff were quick to respond to questions and helpful. Overall good property and would stay again if in the area.

The unit is big and clean but without mirror in the bedrooms. It will be easier if owner prepare a box for keys because we need to contact owner for the keys and will be charged even if we arrive late.

Perhaps to better-guide guests looking for the unit in an unfamiliar building, instead of sharing pictures, or in addition to sharing pictures, when the guest arrives in the building - go down to the entrance to the block and share GPS location e.g. via WhatsApp. Then the guests can navigate using GPS to that entrance.

The property is nicely maintained and had thoughtful amenities. However, there was some inconvenience. Check in/out timing, was limited to office hours. The heater in particular, did not warm up in time, even though we waited 15mins between each use. A more absorbent bathmat would also be helpful.

We stayed one night at this property. The apartment was great, easy to get to by walking from the JB checkpoint, spacious, and clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that because we booked day of, we did not receive the email arranging check-in before leaving. When we arrived, it was very confusing to figure out where to go. There is no central front desk, and the address we had was to the building where the office was housed, but not to the office itself. Luckily I had roaming data and was able to WhatsApp the staff. They were very helpful and met us quickly to help us get situated. Other than that, it was an excellent experience.

Location was near the Singapore border. It is right by a mall. Everything I needed (grocery store, restaurants) was around me. Convenient location. Property is big, clean. What would have been made the place nicer..... nicer shower gel and better internet. The internet was intermittent, non existent in some rooms. The staff were quick to respond to questions and helpful. Overall good property and would stay again if in the area.

We're very satisfied with the apartment! It's new and well-maintained. Very clean and safe. It's within a short and easy 15-min walk from the JB Customs and sheltered all the way. A breeze to check-in and out! The only improvement which we hope to see is the provision of hand towel in the bathrooms and kitchen. Other than this, all thumbs up for a spacious and comfortable stay for us.

Close to jb immigration, 15-20 mins walk , with dedicated overhead sheltered bridge. Apartment a little run diwn, but ok. Reasonably clean, and with 4 aircinds in a 3 bedroom. Tv super small, comes with u tube n google. Staff friendly, bedding ok, kitchen utensils standard with oven n microwave. Swimming n children okayground available on 4th floor. Lits if food around rf area. Walkabe to city square or yse grab to go further. Overall a much better stay than expected except for the many small roaches running around.

Property is nice, convenient with some shops and eateries just downstairs. Food selection within walking distance of the area is so-so, not many varieties. The R&F Mall itself is rather quiet, but there are a few pretty good massage shops upstairs that are very reasonably priced. The 3bedroom unit we stayed in is clean, and the view was nice. It was abit noisy in one of the bedrooms facing the busy road leading to the checkpoint. The condo has great amenities.

Serious window safety concerns for families with young children We checked into a 32nd-floor apartment at R&F Princess Cove JB by SaffronCasa with our three young children. The bedroom windows opened fully using easily operated lever handles, with no child safety restrictors. The sliding balcony doors also lacked child-resistant security. We raised this with staff in person at check-in. Our daughter has Down syndrome and has previously opened a similar window at home and fallen outside, so we explained why this was a specific concern for our family. Staff said they could check other units, but no alternative with confirmed window safeguards was provided. The concern remained unresolved, and we decided to leave after the first night rather than stay for the remaining two. What disappointed us most was the lack of a practical response after we explained the risk. I would not recommend this particular unit for families with young children unless proper safeguards are installed. Anyone considering booking should ask for photos of the actual window restrictors and balcony locks beforehand. These conditions should also be clearly disclosed in the listing.

Apartment not furnished for basic needs. Kitchen doesn't have: Frying pan, full set of cutlery( no dining knifes), soup plates for cereal, no glasses. No extra garbage bags, no eaxtra toilet paper. No laundry detergent. Oven is marked as temporarily out of service. Fact is it was never used. Fridge was not able to freeze and not even able to keep food cold in fridge section. This Apartment is more expensive that other apartments in same complex that offer fully furnished apartments and proper customer setvice who support customers and not just state it is not included and can't help. The apartments of Saffron Casa need to be listed with exact amenities and services as to not mislead guests into believing basic equipment for your stay will be available. I can't recommend this company and will not return. This is my first negative review in my 20 year history with Expedia
