A wonderful experience! I was kindly greeted upon arrival by the valet-he was so kind and brought my bags to my room. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, decor and style of not only my room, but the entire hotel, courtyard and adjacent bar and restaurant. Beautiful toiletries for use in the bathroom. The balcony was charming with French doors. My car was waiting for me upon checkout (I didn’t even need to ask for it to be brought around). Overall I was thrilled with my choice of hotel and I will be staying again. I also recommended to my parents for their next trip to Charleston as well. 5 stars!

We had an amazing experience at the Pinch. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient. The room was perfect; every detail was considered. The breakfast was delicious too. We used the free bikes and explored all day.

We are very happy with the hotel. Parking is either expensive or a short distance away from the hotel, but not really an issue. Rooms are very nice, spacious and fully equipped including kitchen and washer dryer. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which is huge.

Loved all the amenties - killer mini bar, hamper, washing machine, live plants, remote control shades, outdoor fireplace, welcome cocktail, and more. It was a wonderful stay! The clean and lovely room had a well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. The coffee beans tasted mild and sweet; it's different from the breakfast coffee they offered. I hardly heard my neighbors talking, but the hallway was filled with the sound of door closures. The soft bed and pillows were too soft for me, but others might find them cozy. The friendly and helpful staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and departure. The hotel’s communication was smooth, with professional and responsive staff via email and SMS. Kelly, in particular, was a pleasure to work with and left a lasting impression with her attentiveness and efficiency. The housekeeping service was great overall, handling all the regular tasks efficiently, which I really appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel offered turndown service. The only thing I noticed was that the hotel-provided drinkware and slippers were moved, even though I had marked them with personal items, causing a bit of a mix-up between my stuff and my travel partner’s. Otherwise, everything was great! For breakfast, the menu was simple but satisfying. The last night during my stay, I dined at the hotel’s restaurant, Lowland. The dishes were delicious and the service was excellent. I’d recommend The Pinch to travelers who want more than just a place to stay—it's a comfortable, welcoming spot that feels like a home away from home.

Great large and spacious rooms with plenty of amenities. Property is beautiful and clean! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Only thing that wasn’t great was the noise. King St is very loud at night especially on weekends. They do provide a white noise machine in the room and that’s probably why.

It has a calming, relaxing atmosphere, boutique hotel feel, and great for a getaway or staycation. The rooms are amazing, clean (like every corner clean), modern rustic style, attention to detail is exceptional and provides plenty of space that you don't feel trapped in a box.

The Pinch is absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect - close to the shops and great restaurants, yet on a very quiet street. The staff were lovely and attentive. The lobby is beautiful, and the room certainly did not disappoint. It was helpful to have a kitchenette with plenty of counter space. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and just really nice. The decor was simply stunning. It was also handy to have a washer and dryer. The little chocolate on arrival was a pleasant surprise, and the pastries at breakfast were delicious. I could not recommend The Pinch highly enough if you are in Charleston! The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the little kitchen in the room was a big add, even though I never had a chance to actually cook. It just made everything feel more cozy and easy to relax into. The staff was a huge help to me with planning the trip and with advice once I got there.

We loved our dinner next door and the room was beautiful, albeit no view or balcony. The only real negative feedback we have was that, despite the noise machine they provide for you, we did not sleep at all. The traffic noise was horrible all night and there was screaming, loud motorcycles, and loud traffic noise coming at all hours of the night. Perhaps Friday night on and around King Street is too rowdy but we never had this problem at other hotels on the same road. We could hear EVERYTHING and was jolted out of bed multiple times with loud banging and motorcycles/motorbikes. Perhaps better insulted windows would solve this problem.

It was a wonderful stay! The clean and lovely room had a well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. The coffee beans tasted mild and sweet; it's different from the breakfast coffee they offered. This hotel exceeded every expectation that I had for my stay. The property is beautiful. I got the opportunity to be in both the kings bed and two bedroom suite and they were both stunning. The kitchen in the two bedroom was gorgeous. I was really happy with every aspect of my stay.

If I could give the Pinch 6 stars I would. We visited Charleston for my wife’s birthday as a surprise. I contacted the staff at Pinch and made several requests for items to be placed in the room to surprise her. Never once did they say no AND they put a surprise in the room as well. The interaction with the staff was like talking to people you have known your whole life. We have plans to visit Charleston on the future, and we will not stay anywhere else. To the staff, thank you so much for making my wife’s 50th birthday a weekend she will never forget!

A wonderful experience! I was kindly greeted upon arrival by the valet-he was so kind and brought my bags to my room. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, decor and style of not only my room, but the entire hotel, courtyard and adjacent bar and restaurant. Beautiful toiletries for use in the bathroom. The balcony was charming with French doors. My car was waiting for me upon checkout (I didn’t even need to ask for it to be brought around). Overall I was thrilled with my choice of hotel and I will be staying again. I also recommended to my parents for their next trip to Charleston as well. 5 stars!

This is a great hotel. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the nicest suite we’d ever been in. The Pinch was the perfect choice for our short weekend getaway. Everything was spot on great except due to the great location it can be noisy throughout the night. It is just off King Street and near the Charleston College. This little gem of a place is tucked right into a perfect area of downtown Charleston. Ten steps from King Street, right across from the pottery barn and lots of other great stores. We are local and I took my daughter for a night downtown to see the fireworks. We had so much fun. Our room was a full one bedroom apartment, complete with kitchen and washer/dryer. My daughter said she wants to live there. So neat and clean and comfortable. I also picked up a few decorating ideas from the hotel. The tile in our bathroom was super cute. We've stayed downtown quite a few times and this was our favorite by far.

It was a very nice hotel room. Fully equipped and very well decorated and clean. Easy in and out. Valet was great. Best shower. Includes amenities but not the most convenient, free gym but it's down the street and the free breakfast is coffee, yogurt, breakfast pastries and waffles. The street noise through the single pane windows makes it seem like you are on 2nd Avenue in NYC.
