Fantastically comfortable with great facilities. The house is also in a perfect location for visitor attractions, pubs and restaurants

Only a 5-8 mins walk from Monks Gate and the City, this is an ideal property for exploring York and surrounding area. The parking permit for one car is handy. We were able to park directly outside the house. There is ample room for 6 persons. There is a well equipped kitchen with Arga style range that takes some getting used to. Just need to allow extra time to cook. The house was well presented and clean. Be aware there is no ground floor toilet and the stairs to the attic bedroom are quite steep.The only thing that let the house down was the lounge, which was perfectly functional, but the furniture was tired and grubby. New furniture in this room would lift the whole ambiance of the property. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.

The property was well presented and comfortable. Everything was in walking distance and it was no trouble parking the car because of residence permit. A great place to stay when visiting York. Only downsides were rear yard was so overgrown it was unusable, the welcome pack was derisory.

A lovely house close to the centre of York, clean and comfortable for a group of 5 mature ladies with a small courtyard.

Lovely home near all major sight seeing in York and one free parking spot on street. Recommended A
