Spent one night here after visiting the Southampton Boat Show, perfect location and a short walk to the show entrance as well as to the high street. The double room was immaculate and modern. The bathroom was immaculate too with a large walk in shower and had thick fluffy towels. The room has tea/coffee facilities, bottled water and biscuits too. TV in the wall was clear. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Parking is limited to 5 cars on a first-come-first-served basis, but we were lucky to secure a place at the rear of the hotel for £10 a day. Breakfast was exceptional, everything was freshly prepared and we enjoyed a full English breakfast, fresh fruit, Greek Joghurt & granola, fresh coffee and juice and appreciated the chef who prepared this to perfection. Staff were all friendly and helpful, Highly recommended to others and we would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Excellent ! Staff were very accommodating. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and again for breakfast - both superb. Lovely room and bathroom. Would suggest booking car park space if staying!

We stayed at Ennios the day and night before a cruise. Ennios is a restaurant (a good nice Italian restaurant) and has 5 rooms as well. The service is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are located on the first floor but there is no elevator. We could leave our suitcases that we didnt need at reception. The rooms are comfortable. A nicely stocked mini-bar (i hate it to get into a room with a minibar to find it empty..), coffemaker and kettle. Beds are very comfortable. We had dinner as well with them. Its a bit on the pricy side but very tatsefull. We would most likely book with them again should we be around.

This is a charming property with a wonderful Italian restaurant downstairs. Be prepared-there is no elevator to the guest rooms but we will definately stay here prior to a Southampton cruise.

The room was very clean, but the carpet needs to be replaced. Check in was tough as we were dropped in the alley and it looks a sketchy. Lovely restaurant there. Drinks were very expensive.

We enjoyed are stay at Ennios Hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had the room at the top of the staircase and I was a little afraid it might be noisy, but it was quiet and we had no issues with noise. There is a mini fridge in the room which was a nice surprise. We did not eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel because it was a little pricey for our budget. We did have breakfast there the next morning and it was delicious! The serving size was large and it was by far the best breakfast we had during our 3 week stay in the British Isles. We stayed at Ennios for one night before leaving on a cruise. The cruise terminal was close but we opted for a taxi because it would have been a difficult walk with all of our luggage. One last note. The hotels rooms are on the second floor and there is not an elevator. We did not have a problem bringing our luggage up or down. I’m sure though if we needed assistance one of the employees would have helped. If we ever go back to Southampton we would happily stay at Ennios again!

Stayed here prior to our cruise sailing. Walkable to terminal. We were so impressed. Lovely boutique and each room is unique and the attention to detail was superb. Delightful true Southampton feel with high end quality touches. We saw our ship from our window! The bar downstairs was cozy and dinner at the restaurant was a delicious finishing touch to our stay.

Great service and staff, every need was looked after. The restaurant was great, expensive in my opinion but normal for the area. My only complaint is that the bed was a little hard for me and my wife but other than that everything was wonderful.

lovely hotel, really excellent food. My room was above the kitchen which sadly has a noisy fan or machine that goes on during the night, and the kitchen smells are very present in the room, but besides that it was excellent. lovely accommodating staff.

Staff were super and the bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had air con, which was turned off when we arrived. It was extremely hot. Full sun had been on the room all day and it was like an oven. We turned the air con on and didn't make much difference. We did not sleep at all well We checked out early at 7.30 am as we we had to look after our grandchildren . We were not able to have breakfast which we had paid for as they didn't start service until 8.30 am All doors were locked apart from a fire door. Not a great experience.

We stayed at Ennios the day and night before a cruise. Ennios is a restaurant (a good nice Italian restaurant) and has 5 rooms as well. The service is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are located on the first floor but there is no elevator. We could leave our suitcases that we didnt need at reception. The rooms are comfortable. A nicely stocked mini-bar (i hate it to get into a room with a minibar to find it empty..), coffemaker and kettle. Beds are very comfortable. We had dinner as well with them. Its a bit on the pricy side but very tatsefull. We would most likely book with them again should we be around.

I contacted Ennios as I forgot to change the date on the booking form so I was booked for the default date on the form. I contacted Ennios immediately. They informed me that I would have to contact Expedia as I had booked through them. Expedia contacted Ennios and were told that they would have to class it as a cancellation. I have contacted Ennios again but they refuse to help In any way. I made a genuine mistake when booking but have lost my money. I feel cheated and robbed. Thank you Ennios

The hotel location was walking distance to the Norwegian Cruise Line terminal which worked out perfectly. It was also a quick walk from the bus that we took in from London after flying in. Great atmosphere, great food, and just a overall great time. Would definitely return!

Such a convenient location in Southampton. We walked everywhere from the theater to the restaurants and pubs. The restaurant at the hotel was delicious, especially the bread!

The staff at Ennios were exemplary in every way. The hotel is clean; the rooms are modern while the original pub & restaurant harken back to British “understated” elegance without any appearance of tiredness. The location is just around the corner of Old Town Southampton while also facing the Isle of Wight ferry dock. It is an easy ten minute walk to most of the Cruise line terminals, which was a win win for us. Planning on going back while we explore the “treasures” of the UK, two of which are Southhampton & Ennios within it.

The room was very clean, but the carpet needs to be replaced. Check in was tough as we were dropped in the alley and it looks a sketchy. Lovely restaurant there. Drinks were very expensive.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ennios Boutique hotel. The location was great, nearby the cruise port. We had dinner in their restaurant, excellent Italian food! The amenities in the room were above and beyond what we have experienced in other hotels; bathrobes, slippers, eye mask, earplugs, and spray for your pillows. They were kind enough to arrange a taxi for us when we departed. I highly recommend this lovely little hotel.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Perfect location near bars, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was superb. I’m quite a chef myself, but she clearly outperform me on the eggs Florentine. The Italian restaurant within the hotel is also very good. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Ennio’s. The hotel reception was warm, inviting, and informative. They even arranged for an early check-in after disembarking from a cruise. The room was comfortable with robes, slippers, towel warmer, and updated bathroom. The bed and bedding were superb. We had dinner at the restaurant which was underwhelming and disappointing. Although service was attentive, the meal was bland, overpriced for what you got, and not worthy of past positive reviews. The best part of the meal were the coffees.

Our welcome was lovely. Very friendly. The room was small but very nicely presented. We booked dinner in the restaurant and all went downhill from there. My starter of scallops was extremely small, greasy and unappetising. Not worth the money. My main however was diabolical. Chicken was tough and I could not eat the vegetables. A congealed mess. When my husband complained, the manager was argumentative and totally unsympathetic. So unprofessional. He eventually did not charge for my main course but with very bad grace. To be fair my husband enjoyed his meal. After that debacle, which ruined our evening, the air conditioning in our bedroom packed in so we had a very uncomfortable night and slept badly. Would I stay there again or recommend it? No chance. Any feedback? Yes! The manager should follow the example of his staff who were charming and very apologetic.
