Great and comfortable aparthotel. Nice location and pool. Buyer beware: there is no housekeeping service unless you pay a lot extra each time !?!?!; TV has no cable; Parking is a daily charge per night; all is done online and lots of work in advance to check in and reserve parking; front desk not manned 24/7 and need codes to access things so if you're not tech saavy it's a chore.

Pool was not heated.

Check in and parking (surprise $$) were both a bit tediously over- cybered. Loads of info to put in before check in, and thankfully the manager Michael was there to speed it up and guide me through. Once in the apt- very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our stay was only 1 night, but a perfect place for an extended stay. Lovely pool/ large spa. Common areas well planned and tastefully decorated and arranged. They’ve left nothing out.

This place was spacious & new. It is walking distance to all the restaurants & bars along the canal. It is right across the street from the mall. It was really pretty & perfect with all the Christmas lights along the canal. The Sentinel was mostly empty, so we had most of the common areas to ourselves. We really liked the big spa/hot tub. The common balcony was perfect to watch the sunset, but the fire feature was broken & the maintenance worker was off that day. You need to download a separate app & register an account to park there for $20 per day & use the app everytime you enter & you can only use your assigned spot, so that was inconvenient. Also, i picked this place to charge my EV, but none of the staff knew how i was supposed to pay separately to do that. A sign said you could only park in 2 spots to charge & one had a dusty tesla parked there the entire 4 days. Also, the place has a huge kitchen, but only a kettle with instant coffee packets. The lobby only offered an instant coffee machine that you had to pay for. I think most people expect to have access to real coffee in the morning. A couple other things that we have usually had at long term rentals that we didn't bring & had to buy, was laundry detergent & body lotion.

This is the absolute best option for staying in Scottsdale! It is safe, beautiful, and has a very luxurious atmosphere. Parking cost extra, but the pool, gym, and open flex spaces with games and a pool table make up for it!

Sentral is an apartment complex that rents some of their units out short term. It is a very nice, clean facility with a pool and hot tub and we loved the Sky Lounge on the upper floor. The units facing the street are very loud from traffic noise so try asking for an inner facing unit when you make your reservation, It is centrally located in Old Town Scottsdale so very convenient for shopping and eating & there is easy access to the walking trail along the canal that leads into Scottsdale. We purchased the unit parking pass which was very convenient with easy parking on-site. The unit itself was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have extra towels provided, (but you can ask at the desk for more) and if you take your own coffee bring filters, as they only have the pre-packets in the unit. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this place and would rebook with them in the future.

Excellent property to share a space with friends or family. Excellent amenities. Coffee machine in the lobby. Great common room, pool and office space. Only concern was check-in and check-out. First, the pre-check-in was a major pain, you have to send a copy of your ID, etc. I was sharing with a friend and she could never complete her check-in for some reason (I called several times) and she was the one to check-in first, so it was important she could get the codes and everything. When I checked in, I requested a second key card for the door. We are two adults and not going to be glued together all the time so, need two cards, makes sense for a two bedroom apartment... And I was told I had to pay for it ? After I prodded a bit they told me it was just a deposit, and then changed the amount from 100$ to 150$. Hmmm. There was no-one at the front desk when we checked out (that's the time the person chose to do their rounds apparently, right when everybody is actually leaving), so I took pictures of the TWO key cards left on the desk to ensure I would not be charged. The person showed back as I was waiting for my ride... Other than this... excellent stay.

Great place to stay. The apartments and amenities were excellent. I wish I had more time here to enjoy them.

Easy check in and easy check out. Great gym and nice apartment!

Bathroom had mold & dry root on wall baseboard corners around stand in shower pan. Door installed on backwards so water comes out when showering. No place other than floor to put bathroom essentials in shower. Smells like mold when walking into room door from entry. Overall sound of vehicles from street traffic constant sound inside room & bedroom when sleeping. No tv in room. Room was not cleaned throughout. Faucets were not wiped down no extra toilet paper & tissues. No tv in bedroom & dresser blocking window curtains when shut.

Dirty... crusty dog poop in the hallway, nasty stains in the bedroom, front desk is never around. This is an apartment trying to be a hotel. Wouldn't recommend for any reason. $25 a night for parking, $150 deposit and ANOTHER $150 deposit if you want a second room key.

Great location, helpful staff at front desk, easy to check in and out, walking distance to dining, enjoyed gym. Room itself not super clean, especially bathroom, and there were unpleasant stains on rug/couch cover.

Room was very clean, did not get to go to pool because of my trip mainly being a business trip. But staff was very nice and quick to fix any issues and addressed all of my concerns. The premises are very clean.

Very disappointed in our overall stay here. We had an issue of not receiving a code required to check in. Many emails sent with no resolution. Thankfully there was a person at front desk that was able to help and give us a key to the room There was trash along the hallways of the building. Room had a terrible smell and unfortunately the room wasn’t cleaned well, toe nail clippings all of the restroom floor which was very disgusting. Also, loud music playing in a nearby apartment all night the second night we were there. Super unfortunate as we were excited to try a new place in Scottsdale.

We liked the location but were very unhappy with the cleanliness of the apartment. The floors were so dirty our socks turned black. The carpets and furniture had lots of stains. The shampoo bottles were empty and the towel rack was coming off the wall.

The throw rug in living room was stained and dirty. The couch had stains and carpeting had stains also

Had a great stay. Place was comfortable, clean and centrally located. Staff was very friendly especially front desk staff, Michael from Hawaii. He was very informative and always helpful.

The apartment I stayed in was a decent size and quite comfortable. However the shower is poor (low pressure) and doesn't even have a soap holder /single shelf - everything has to go on the shower floor. Towels are a joke. The unit was reasonably clean but the laminate floors were quite dirty. Location is great. Probably the worst parking situation I have yet experienced. I did not know until the day of arrival that you need to 'request' a parking space in advance. Of course, none were available when I contacted Sentral and they told me to use the parking spaces at the front of the building. There are 5 spaces that are 3 hour maximum.... Not nearly enough for the amount of units and you are lucky if you happen to see a free space at all. Then they tell you to just park at the shopping center across the street which is far from convenient (10 minute walk).

I've stayed here a couple times and it's been great! Check-in cane be tricky. I think it's WAYxeasier if you actually do the "pre-check-in". I didn't love the early morning traffic noise, but I loved that I could walk EVERYWHERE! The pool wasn't crowded. It was quite and the bed were comfortable. I wish they had a couple chairs for the pato. I've only been here solo, so I just took the office chair outside, but a real chair would have been nice. That said, the public areas had plenty of great outdoor seating.

The room (1 bedroom apartment) is large comfortable with a full kitchen if you want to cook for your self. The only real issue I’ve had is the Wifi is weak. I always travel with my AppleTV but couldn’t get stream music let alone video reliably.

Loved our stay but would have liked to know ahead of time that parking was $25 a night and required downloading an app and filling out an info form. We parked around the mall instead and walked. Also did NOT have a coffee maker in the kitchen. For me that’s a necessity. Kitchen lacked any sheet pans, spatula, towels, potholders etc so wasn’t desirable for cooking. The bed was comfortable and the unit clean minus an area near shower where drywall was damaged and stained. For this price I feel it needs to be repaired and the kitchen stocked a little better with these few necessities. Otherwise the location is perfect and the units are very nice.

Great premise to have a condo/hotel service. Just could not control A/C at all so not as comfortable.

The unit was very clean and well maintained and amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand and body soap was provided. Bed was so comfy! But wish there was a tv in the bedroom. Watching TV on the couch was a little uncomfortable as the couch had a very short depth and nowhere to rest your legs. Free Netflix. The ONLY thing we didn’t care for was the location of the unit. You get a view of the side of the Mercedes Benz building and the walk from the elevator to the unit was quite a bit away. Other than that we loved our stay here.

Very modern, clean, great views, and close to shops and restaurants. A little overwhelmed by pre checkin , arrival, and parking instructions. Not super easy to enter room.

Walkable to Old Town Scottsdale. Just some odd things. The bedroom is big enough for a king bed. It is prob a Queen in there, but feels like a double. No TV’s in the bedrooms even the master. Parking - there is no free parking, you have to pay through an app. Your room could be a long way from the elevator. But very quiet place.

I won't stay here again. The location of the room, on the ground floor at pedestrian eye level, felt both insecure and passersby views were invasive. I asked to change the location several times, but was not accommodated in any way. The photo on line shows a mountain view, not one of street parking and a pedestrian sidewalk. Very deception. Also parking is very expensive and the pool was cold!

Property tried to reach out to me privately to cancel my reservation last minute without going through hotels.com! After going back and forth with the front desk agent and the property manager whom was not on sight, a room magically appeared. The front desk agent told me they were fully booked and that they’d cancel someone else’s reservation to get me. The lack of communication and the entire ordeal caused me to miss a sporting event I had already purchased tickets. The next day I came back to speak with the manager in person to request a refund for the first night, she brushed me off. Outrageous, unprofessional behavior from each staff member we encountered.

Stayed many times. Everything is great except out of hours when issues arise you have to use a chat service to get hold of anyone. You cannot get your key — use a chat bot. You have an issue with the room — use the chat bot. Need to chance checkout time — use a chat bot. Not acceptable!

The check-in process is overly complicated, even the "passcodes" they give are arbitrarily long. I booked and PAID through Expedia, but was still charged by the property for the same stay....They double charged me....Then I had to spend far too much of my time (my hourly earnings are more than nightly rate) to get the charge removed (so really bow I've lost more money).....Even better, the front desk can't do anything to help with the fees and has no visabability. So I waste hours and calls fixing this. FAIL

Nice apartment, beautiful building, wonderful pool/gym area, comfy beds, very clean, and everyone friendly. Michael was exceptional. The check in is not quick or easy and parking is worse. Me and the 2 people behind me all thought this was a hotel. It is not a hotel in the traditional sense so know that before booking.

Checking in was a total nightmare. We were working an event so checked in very late. There’s NO one around. Everything is done online. After about an hour of trying to get in we finally figured it out. Having an on call person would really help. Won’t be staying there again.

The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The people you communicate with via text and email are infuriating. I was charged $75 for parking when I should have been charged $60, instead of refunding the $15 they charged another $15. It was very difficult to get this fixed. Wi-Fi instructions were wrong. Parking instructions were wrong. Good location, good free coffee and acceptable accommodations.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. It was fantastic and a reasonable price! I’m glad wasn’t swayed by the 1 or 2 reviews I read that said the front desk staff were not friendly or helpful. My experience was quite the opposite… they were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful! This is not a traditional hotel (it’s apartments or condos that people live in, but some can be rented out for a few nights like a hotel), so yes, check-in and parking were a little tricky and a bit more time consuming, but really not that bad, I expected this from the reviews I read, so I was prepared and it went smoothly. They had sent me an email 2 days before my stay, with Pre check-in instructions, which, I did as instructed, and that helped the check-in go smoothly on my arrival. I would definitely stay here again!

There is a check-in process that must be completely on your mobile device, preferably well in advance of getting there. The location is proximate to many wonderful places. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Know that this is an apartment complex and that the management of the single-hotel-like stay is run by some other entity. If there are any problems you are on your own and they cannot possibly resolve them. I wasn't able to access my room for multiple hours and they could do nothing to help me. The wifi wasn't enabled for my stay and they did nothing to fix it.

If you’ve never stayed at a Sentral before, give yourself A LOT of extra time to figure things out. Since my stay was outside of the normal operating hours, there is no staff to help you with anything. So upon arrival, there weren’t any clear signs on which parking area was which. Then once I figured out the parking garage, I didn’t know how to get out because the doors are all key fob access. So I went out the exit and prayed I wouldn’t get locked out in the street. The directions are specific but it’s like reading a contract so it gets all jumbled and confusing. Maybe some photos or concise words would’ve been better. Code worked for the main door but then I freaked out a little trying to get my room key because there’s 2 pads and they are for different sectors (not applied to all).

I like how secure the property is. The location is the perfect walking distance to everything one likes to experience at old Scottsdale. It is a five minute walk to Fashion Square! The apartment is modern and the bed is very comfortable with high quality linens. We will definitely revisit.

This was a great place to stay in Scottsdale. Close to the fashion mall, shops, old town Scottsdale. In easy walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. Beautiful apartments, quiet. Lovely pool area and communal spaces.

Everything is perfect! Perfect room, perfect pool, perfect location! It’s right across the street from the mall and a couple of blocks from Old Town Scottsdale. Plus, the canal walkway is right outside the building. We loved our stay and will be back!

Was a great location very close to shopping just across the street. Very nice, clean, quiet room as well. There was an additional fee for parking but well worth it to have a secure parking area with easy access. 10/10 would stay here again if I’m in the area.

We had a great stay. We weren't able to get an early check-in but the parking sign up was easy, the stay was quiet, the common areas and the apartment were beautiful. Only complaint might be the lack of amenities in the kitchen. I'd have liked a coffee pot (though there was a coffee machine in the lobby), drying towels and a few more utensils and serving bowls.

Good property and grounds. Units are nice, but need a coffee maker! Coffee in the lobby was ok, yet you have no creams, flavors. Be prepared to pay for parking in the attached garage ($25 per day). Still a good place to stay and good location.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to be closer to Old Town. Overall, we had a good stay as it was nice to have space when we had also stayed in a hotel room at a resort further north at the beginning of our trip. Pros: - Very nice pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and it was very peaceful. Not super hot but soaking temp. - Parking was easy and convenient to and from our suite - Nice lobby and shared spaces (there was a pool table, etc. in the 2nd Fl large "rec" room) - Responsive staff via email - Rooms are large and fairly modern. Beds comfortable. Areas of improvement: - Could have been a bit cleaner. There were spots in our bathroom (shower and bathroom floor where there was some dirt/dust and some hair. - The provided coffee in the suite was pretty low grade compared to other hotels. Even worse, they advertise a fancy coffee machine in their lobby where you can get a cappuccino or something similar. We tried two mornings to use the machine and it was out of service. There was no one available at the front desk/lobby area so I emailed the Sentral team but by the time it was fixed, we had left for the day each time. So just buy your own coffee to brew if it\'s important to you We would stay there again - it\'s just not a hotel as they don\'t have round the clock staff onsite, nor restaurants, etc.. and it\'s not an true airbnb suite either as the suites aren\'t fully kitted out (eg. kitchens are large but most cabinets are empty)

When we called to specifically ask if a drip coffee pot would be in the room. We were told yes. We drink a special kind of coffee and there was no drip coffee pot available. Just a pit for boiling water for tea or INSTANT COFFEE. Very disappointing.

The property was very nice. Great location to downtown old Scottsdale. the only issue we had was the website for the property said coffee/tea maker. Thought this was a coffee maker so we brought coffee and coffee grinder to make coffee in the room. Typically hotel rooms have a coffee maker. However, all that was in the room was a pot to heat water for instant coffee or tea.

They need to add on site food options

Large apartment, new, two bedrooms. But- no coffee maker at all, only kettle for water. I have never seen a place without coffee machine. Our place smelled. Parking 77 USD for 3 days, feeling ripped off. Staff was very helpful and nice, but leaves at 5 pm, good luck checking in after they are gone, my key took awhile to get even with help.

Location is convenient. Be prepared to pay for parking. Apartment is scarcely appointed so while there is a full kitchen, it isn’t very useful. No coffee in room, so know you’ll need to venture out to get that. Check in and out process is confusing and would be neat impossible if you arrive after business hours. The apartment itself was new, but cheaply done with low quality builder grade pieces throughout. It’s fine…especially if you have low expectations
