Stayed 1 night

We were on the 2nd floor room 212 and it was HOT. There was a little oscillating fan to use as the AC for the room. The lobby was ice cold only place on the property that has A/C. So just be prepared. Front desk ladies was short with me when I asked about and said I could upgrade to the Dyson room. Which has a Dyson fan. LOL

The staff let me check in slightly early on arrival which was welcomed. The room was comfortable and well appointed, including having the ability to screen cast to the TV from chrome devices - great for playing music. Due to the heat-wave at the time of my stay the room was the warm side, a function of the large picture window giving great views of the hills to the south of the town. On the plus side cold water was readily available from the filtered water dispenser by the lift, and a large rainfall shower also provided cooling when required. The breakfast buffet has an ample selection of hot and cold food whilst the lunchtime carvery served in the bar also leaves you feeling full for the rest of the day. If you are at a loss there is a Supervalu supermarket next door and other food options within the adjacent retail park.

Stayed 1 night

A really mixed visit. The reception staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. They were brilliant with our young daughter and even let us check out late so she could have her nap before we left and had to drive home to Dublin. We are in the bar and the staff were a bit mixed. We were so disappointed with the food. It was over €90 for x2 adult one course meals (one being a salad), a child’s one course meal and x2 drinks each for myself and my husband. I barely ate my food, the chicken wasn’t heated up properly and I had concerns about my daughter’s meal also. We didn’t get a chance to share the feedback as had to rush away to change our daughter. The breakfast staff weren’t super friendly but they were at least helpful when we asked for something. The leisure centre was good, with access to the pool and towels/ free lockers welcome. We stayed during the heatwave and the common areas/ restaurants/ reception are well air conditioned. The bedrooms were not and it was a really big problem for us having a young child. The room was 31 degrees for the night as measured on our baby monitor. We had x1 fan in the room, and when requested, the staff did kindly bring us a second one, but it was still beyond too hot. There is only 1 small window that only opens a tiny bit in the room so there was no air circulating. One other thing to note was there were no shower hats in the room which we found strange.
