The property is much smaller than it appears in the photos and the pool was absolutely freezing making it too unpleasant to use. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The front desk staff was very helpful— offering warm greetings each morning and tips on local things to do. Breakfast was nice and offered a variety of things to chose from. Loved the quiet location and the easy walk to the nearby beach. The hotel does not provide parking, but the public parking on the street was easily accessible each night.

Staff gentil , a cama de casal era na verdade 2 camas de solteiro unidas..com isso havia uma "fenda" no meio da cama.. O Hotel nao possui estacionamento, na alta temporada e dificil achar vagas..

Spacious villa with AC and private pool. Reserved parking lot in the garage. Bedroom and bathroom a bit unpractical, as almost no furniture and no opportunity to hang towels. Big living room, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful beach just 15 min walk.

It is up on a hill by the ocean but view only from 1 room - a bedroom. When we arrived, we found heating the pool costs $20/day extra and takes over 3 days to heat. No protection from neighbors noise -- e.g. barking dog, conversations...

We had the most amazing ocean view and private pool. Everything was perfect, the staff are excellent, friendly and efficient. Our villa was so nice and comfortable we extended our stay for 3 more days and would have stayed longer if we could. The location is fantastic, very close to the beach, the sea view balcony was such a nice place to sit and relax with a perfect uninterrupted view of the sea. 5 or 6 mins in taxi to the Old town with great night life. Just down the road there are a couple of really nice restaurants and good sports bar. I highly recommend this place if you want to be close to sea,, night life and come home to a quieter more relaxed hotel/villa. I am looking forward to coming back here next year.

Loved this villa and will definitely be back! Plenty of room for a couple or family, nice kitchen to cook in and plenty of entertainment room downstairs and at your private backyard. Loved having a pool to ourselves and a balcony that looked out to the ocean. Very peaceful and quiet!! Beach close by was small and not busy which was nice. Easy quick drive into Albufiera for food or to walk around. Parking below the property is a little bit of a pain, but nice and safe since the villas are gated.

We rented a 3 bedroom Palm villa , when we tried to check in at 4 our room was not ready ( not a big deal) and was asked to come back a little later. We explored the area a little and on our return at 5 was told that there was a maintenance issue with our accommodation (the main bedroom with walkout to upstairs patios whole drape assembly had fallen off the wall ) we’re told that they locked the room and if it was ok if we just used it as a 2 bedroom.I told them we definitely needed a 3 bedroom unit, they had no other availability and could not move us. I told them I would take the unit as is so it took another hour for them to clean the extra room for our check in was delayed till 6pm. This particular unit is getting a little tired overall, things like loose hand rail at top of stairs tile trim in upstairs bathroom not flush deadbolt on front door disabled with screw kitchen and living room tables with glass stains. The overall cleanliness I would rate a 3 out of 5 ( I ended up having to give the outdoor patio floor a wash down (no big deal).All the other properties we stayed at provided some laundry detergent for a few loads as well as a roll of paper towels in the kitchen they did not ( would be nice if they had. The underground parking was a joke unless you are driving a small car VW golf your not going to fit but ample outdoor parking . I would say that the staff especially the property manager was very kind and helpful and apologized for the inconvenience of the drapes

The area was lovely and it was close to a nice beach. The villa was spacious. The private pool was a bonus but we had to let management/maintenance know that the pool ladder was broken upon our arrival, so hopefully they will address that before the next visitors stay in the unit.

Apartments in ordentlichem Zustand und gepflegt. Liegt fußläufig ca 5 Minuten zur Praia Sao Rafael. Auch der PoolBereich ist einladend.

Lovely villas. Very spacious and comfortable and clean. Lovely quiet area and close to the beach. I would recommend a car.

This property is located in a very convenient area. You can walk to a few 5 star rated restaurants and even a local beach. No more than 10 min walk to any location. It feels very safe to walk at night, we really enjoyed that. Prepare to hear a lot of instructions with a map when you arrive to get to your hotel room and they don't assist with luggage. Although the hotel is located on a very beautiful and large piece of property the rooms are not up to date. The wifi is very spotty. We had a leak in the bathroom that left a big puddle on the floor our whole stay because nobody came to fix it even though they told us someone would come. This was very upsetting because nobody came to clean the room either so we were left with limited towels which we used for the puddle. These are things you do not want to deal with after a whole day of traveling. I really wanted to love this place but they have a lot of fixing to do. Staff was friendly.

Staff was exceptional; helpful, courteous. Only issue was damp room/bed as if mattress had been recently cleaned but not quite dry yet. No walkable shopping or restaurants - needed a vehicle or cab.

We stayed in the villas with a private pool and it was absolutely phenomenal. The suite itself is absolutely beautiful, clean and well-maintained and so much space for at least six people, and it was just me and my friend. We are definitely planning our stay back here as the staff was also extremely helpful and kind.

Clean but not well maintained. Walls and woodwork scuffed, sliding doors damaged, cable inoperable, poor lighting in kitchen. Expedia advertised as no children however screaming child next door was allowed. Rating of 5 star totally is way off the mark. For the price look elsewhere.

We enjoyed our stay at the São Rafael accommodation in Albufeira. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location near São Rafael Beach was very convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice place for a relaxing break.

Wir waren 9 Tage im Hotel und hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Alle waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat nur 5 oder 6 Zimmer, die alle sauber und renoviert sind und dennoch sich ihr Alter ansehen lassen. Das Hotel wird in Schuss gehalten und Reparaturen sofort durchgeführt. Das Zimmer 511 ist besonders zu erwähnen, da es einen tollen Meerblick hat. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub.

Lot of space and nice, big terace on the second floor, the assembling of the kitchen interior could be improved.

Clean, spacious and beautiful surrounding. TV is not working, but it wasn’t a big deal for us.

The location is great. Walking distance to couple beaches. One of the beaches has a nice beach restaurant where you can choose your fresh fish and they will grill it for you. Albufera is less then 10 min away by taxi. We liked it because the location is very quiet. It felt that we are by our selfs there. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the bed had this cover over the mattress and under the sheet the protection that you would use for a baby cribs. Like some plastic that sounds like when you move and makes extra warm at night. That should go!

Certain members of the reception were rude, attitude was poor. Very unfriendly and not welcoming at all. However the property was nice

Wonderful staff in a quiet location. Staff was able to accommodate a late check in and packed us a breakfast for an early checkout. Bed is not the most comfortable but we had a wonderful 2 night stay.

The service was great, the staff are ok, but not very considerate or friendly. I made a mistake booking and had the option of either losing my money or booking a new room somewhere else for a family member since they couldn’t accommodate them. It was partially my fault but the way the situation was handled was very mean business style. I would’ve expected them to be a bit more nice or considerate. Even the main manger that was their stated that their isn’t anything else she can talk to me about so I should stop talking. The place is nice though and close to the beach and clean. All the other staff where friendly.

Nice place to stay when in Albufeira. Within walking distance to the beautiful beach Sao Rafael. Great service, quiet, secure, feels like home. Good dining options nearby. Would definitely recommend.

I really loved this place. The staff were incredible and so kind, they really went out of their way to make sure that I felt comfortable. If I had any concerns it has adressed in a matter of minutes, and fixed promptly. The resort itself is very beautiful as well.

Was not expecting how big this place was- a nice surprise! It was great to be able to do laundry too. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Less than a 10 min walk to 3 nearby beaches. Check in was nice and everyone was super friendly.

Einfaches Check-In, freundlicher Service, saubere und schöne Zimmer. Die Gegend in São Rafael ist ruhig und hat einen sehr schönen Strand, zum shoppen und ausgehen muss man allerdings nach Albufeira fahren.

We enjoyed our stay. It is walking distance to the beach. The food in the area is excellent. The people were approachable and friendly. The staff was easily reachable, responsive, and helped us navigate the town. We would definitely stay there again.

Excelente estadia, quarto confortável, banheiro limpo e novinho, localização maravilhosa, pertinho da Praia de São Rafael que é muito boa! Café da manhã muito bom também, além do staff ser extremamente simpático.

The staff were so friendly, even they mentioned they are new there. They provide us very good information and also do something very special. As we had to go to the airport and could not be there for the last breakfast, they provided us a breakfast bag including a home made sandwich😍 The location is great and just 5 minutes walking to st Rafael beach, but a little bit difficult to reach if you have no car The hotel is too small and some equipment were a little bit old, but in overall the hotel can satisfy you The brekfast buffet had no hot meal, maybe because of the season Safety is also good. The staff leave the hotel at 6 p.m. but there is a guard who is availbale during the night In overall, we really enjoyed and highly recommend the hotel

Very beautiful place for its price! View and community was so nice! No parking on site but not far away either! Staff was kind! Very beautiful place and accommodated breakfast to go for us which was very sweet!
