AluaSoul Menorca - Adults Only

We had a great week here at AluaSoul, I don’t know what the poor reviews are about but the all inclusive option had as much food and drink to satisfy an army. The adults-only pool is lovely with lots of loungers with own fully stocked bar with snacks. Great staff. Really quiet and friendly place. Will be back.

It was a pleasant enough experience but learning on arrival one had to pay for loungers by the pool or be crammed into the adults only section was sad. It felt like a meat market of loungers lined up or €10 or more for a sunlounger by the pool. This should chage. The coffee at breakfast was just a long sweaty queue. Unpleasant. It would be easier to make a pot per table I’m sure. The staff were wonderful. But all in all quite basic across the board. A nice pleasant stay But there are definite some things that need work.

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel AluaSoul Menorca en formule all inclusive et tout était parfait. Rien à redire : large choix à chaque repas, ainsi qu’au bar le soir, et les services annexes sont d’une grande qualité (plusieurs piscines, jacuzzi, salle pour stocker les bagages le jour du départ afin de profiter de la piscine jusqu’au dernier instant :) et appel de taxi en cas de besoin). Le personnel, et tout particulièrement les serveuses et les réceptionnistes, a toujours été agréable lors de notre séjour, souriant et surtout très disponible. Toutes nos demandes ont été prises en compte rapidement. Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment agréable et reposant. Encore un grand merci à toute l’équipe !

The area is very quiet, close to the ocean and 2 supermarkets close by as well. The property offers transport to a beach (free) as well as to the city MAO (4 euro). If you like to dive, you can do that too right at the property. Also the food is great. There was nothing I did't like.

Hotel was always clean, pools were very nice. The shuttle service to nearby locations and Mahon were a very nice idea. Staff were lively and very helpful, Alex on reception was a standout example of this. 10/10 would return

Nice bedroom and bathroom. Old fashioned building but nowt they can do about that. Def not a 4 star. Claims to have 4 restaurants/bars. It has one restaurant- buffet style - similar food for lunch and dinner for 4 days. When one bar at the pool closes, the hotel bar is open. Pool opens at 10 and closes at 6 (must be out by 7 from the pool area) - the best time of day to not burn your skin is missed. The techno music by the pool is infuriating and not relaxing. They kept our washing and ironing for 3 days - meaning it needed re-ironing. They gave us a voucher for the pool restaurant as compensation- but the entrecôte was so chewy it went in the bin. The only evening bar has loud music, or you can sit outside and get bitten by mozzies. The rooms we booked were wrong. Then one of us got the wrong tag which was not all inclusive. When you want to change anything on Expedia, you cant, because they deal with head office who only have an answerphone. When we did it, the request for the doubles sea view which we had paid a higher price for, did not relay to the hotel. Keep any e mails! One of our rooms was allowed for a late check out by a previous guest so we could not get in until 6 compared to 2pm as advertised. No compensation. They charge for bottled water. Nowt to do locally and only 2 other small restaurants and bars in town. The lift in the hotel takes you upstairs one floor, after that you have to carry your luggage to get to your room up/down at least 10 step

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Alberto and Alexa. Great facilities and peaceful. Lovely pool area and spa. (Steam room wasn’t working) The pool area has one adults pool for guests only, which they had reserved for a private party one day which was annoying. But the days we did use it weren’t overcrowded and always a sunbed. The other pool is open to the public and it seems they allowed kids. The restaurant is great with pretty views over the sea. Food was good, the only negative was the labels weren’t updated so was hard to know what was veggie. Good singers for evening entertainment most nights. There isn’t much in the location so I’d recommend all inclusive. There is sea to swim but not a beach, the hotel offers a free shuttle to a nearby beach. Also Hop on the free land train for a tour around s’algar. We would return.

Upon checking in late in the evening the receptionist wasn’t very accommodating and helpful. The apartment was in a great size and the private pool and terrace great, the floor was dirty and the windows as well making me feel like the room had been empty for a while and they had forgotten to do a little extra clean before my arrival. The food on offer and the variety of the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is very limited and I must say I did not feel like I was in a 4 star hotel. Overall I had a good stay and enjoyed the quietness

Very comfortable and clean, near ocean excellent spotlessly clean pool areas with plenty of sunbeds. Friendly helpful staff. Good buffet food and drinks

Nice hotel, but if you really like ot quiet it is not the best option. The walls are very thin, you hear every word the neighbour say, even if somebody plugged in the electronic device you could hear it very loud. Also the shows which they have 5 days a week you can hear in the room loud and clear. Even if the room is on the other side of the event. A pitty that you could not read that kind of info at the booking. We would have decided differently. The floor in the room was not very clean, breakfast was ok - huge varieties. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. All in one - nice hotel but not for us - we will not come again.

Magnifique piscine Chambres propres

Great experience! Quiet, clean, great location (only 10km from Mahon), easy parking, variety of food, staff always polite and smiling (from Sara and Racquel at front desk to Beatriz and Maria Jesus in restaurant). Just clarify any doubts at front desk from using mini bar to staying around pool area so no confusion later on (basically listen carefully for the instructions even if its all inclusive). I would highly recommend you stay at this Hyatt property!

Séjour très agréable Complexe complet et bien organisé et animé Cependant Nous regrettons que le sol de la chambre n’est pas été nettoyé tous les jours. Et qu’il n’y ai pas de réaction plus rapide de nettoyage sur les extérieurs après la pluie ayant apporté beaucoup de sable.(terrasse privé et bain de soleil par ex)

Pour un 4 étoiles il y a des manquements. Qualité des repas ( petit déjeuner et dîner répétitifs, toujour les mêmes desserts) qualité moyenne. Paye chambre vue sur jardin on a eu chambre vu sur rue. La literie a refaire.

Nice hotel, but if you really like ot quiet it is not the best option. Me decepcionó la habitación. Nos pusieron en una habitación vista al mar, pero no se parecía nada a las fotos. Estaba en planta calle por lo que no podías relajarte en la terraza sin ser visto por las personas que pasean por la calle. La vista era a un aparcamiento y más allá se veía el mar. Nada que ver con las fotos.

Hôtel situé dans un endroit paisible. Personnel chaleureux aux petits soins. Chambres bien insonorisées. Buffets copieux et variés. Nous reviendrons.

It is a lovely place and a nice location although not very much around the area to do in the evening we still had an enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Alexa really stood out and was so lovely, always upbeat and very positive. I can’t believe that she remembered everyone’s name. She definitely deserves a five star rating. We were only here for a short stay to attend a family wedding, but would probably return again and do a lot more exploring. Although admittedly taxi’s can be quite expensive

Beautiful relaxing escape away in a peaceful location. Numerous beaches short walks away with easy access to other touristy areas as needed. Didn't really want to leave the hotel most days. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and good choice was impressive

Tout a été parfait, l’accueil a l’arrivé difficile, aucune information sur la situation de la chambre, personne pour porter les bagages, aucune signalétique. Pas de parking, et la personne à l’accueil pas très sympatique et ne faisant aucun effort pour nous renseigner. Dans la suite 2007 aucun livret indicatif pour joindre la réception.

Amazing stay and would definitely be back. We would have appreciated a bit more clarity in terms of knowing what was included with the My Favourite Club option but we had a wonderful time and loved every detail.

The staff is excellentand always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner also are very delicious, the waitreses and waiters do a very great job. We enjoyed our stay very much and we are sure to return there.

Bon séjour, en revanche petit bémol concernant le buffet proposé. Il n’est pas digne d’un 4 étoiles, même nourriture presque tous les jours. Il pourrait y avoir au moins des spécialités de Minorque.

Me garantizaron que podría comer sin problema y con todas las garantías siendo celíaca, pero la realidad fue que había poca variedad para celíacos y sin garantías, no distinguían entre la lactosa y el gluten, y más de uno no sabía lo que era. Pase 4 días horribles, los últimos dos dias tuve la suerte de que llegaron cocineros que sabían lo que hacían y pude comer más tranquila. Me parece de vergüenza que garanticen un servicio que no están preparados para ofrecer solo por tener un cliente más. Ojalá aprendan de esto y formen a sus trabajadores, la mala experiencia se viene conmigo.
