Der Empfang war herzlich (ich kann mich leider nicht mehr an den Namen der Mitarbeiterin erinnern). Die Dekoration des Empfangsbereiches/Salons ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon und war, wie auch das Bad, sehr sauber. Wir haben am Abend im hauseigenen Restaurant gegessen und wurden sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

Wat een lieve zorgzame mensen allemaal. De kamer was erg netjes, dagelijkse schoonmaakservice en een heerlijk bed en eeg goed kussen. Dagelijks schone handdoek en badlaken. Badjas aanwezig! Ook is er een koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker op de kamer. Ontbijt is ontzettend goed, zeer uitgebreid en er is zelfs gedacht aan mensen die glutenvrij of op sojabasis eten. Koffie, thee en sapjes erg goed. Let op, de eieren dienen nog gekookt te worden! Ook het eten in het restaurant is ontzettend goed en alles is mogelijk (dus, gewoon vragen als je wat wilt of andere wensen hebt) Het personeel is namelijk ontzettend gericht op service en is echt top te noemen. Het hotel is groot, maar voelt heel huiselijk en familiar aan! Ook fijn, je krijgt een pasje waar je de kabelbanen mee in kunt (scheelt een hoop!) De omgeving is in 1 woord sprookjeswonderland... Ik kom absoluut terug in Kandersteg, en dan zeker bij Victoria!

Was ok for a one night stay. No AC which isn't that uncommon in Switzerland. Our room was in the older section. Seemed dated and tired. Had to walk through a hallway where they were apparently storing extra mattresses and baby cribs.

I had a beautiful stay in Kandersteg! The main thing I wanted to see there was Lake Oeschinen, and this hotel is a short walk to the cable car that goes up to the lake. After I visited the lake, I took a beautiful hike back down that went straight down to the hotel. Very short walk to the train station as well; getting around was very easy. The room was comfortable and the front desk staff was very nice. Loved my stay here.

Can't say enough good things about our stay. We enjoyed it so much we extended an extra 2 days (stayed 5). The breakfast buffet is the best we've had in 2 months. The staff are friendly and will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Kandersteg is a lovely village that's not overrun with tourists. There's great hiking in the area and it's convenient to the other, more well known areas.

Hotel chic, personnel très sympa et a l'écoute, le directeur également, petit déjeuner excellent et complet, on a passé 5 jours de vacances extra et la petite station de ski était top! Kandersteg est un village magnifique, on y mange bien, les gens sympas, les montagnes impressionnantes... on y retournera !
