A really wonderful hotel. The bar and restaurant are absolutely lovely. The reception and restaurant staff really friendly. The rooms are great, really comfy beds. We used the pool which is a great facility. Absolutely faultless.

An excellent university campus/conference hotel with nice, open plan reception, bar and seating area (good for meeting friends before going out) and spacious rooms. Combined with a great buffet breakfast, friendly staff and free parking the hotel delivers everything you would want. Perfect for our overnight stop around a weekend reunion and would definitely stay again.

Lovely modern hotel for a trip to the uni. Breakfast was great - lots of options. Only negatives were that the hotel needs more EV chargers, one was broken when we arrived which added to the stress of our journey. Also, we had booked a twin room but were given a king - we were too tired to complain!

Lovely 2 night stay. Great location. Hotel lobby was very welcoming and beautifully presented. Room was very nice, spacious with a comfy double. Room was nice and quiet. Ate an evening meal and had breakfast in the Restaurant. Delicious. Great service from the staff who were polite and attentive. We also made use of the hotel gym. All in all a fantastic stay. Thank you.

This is a lovely, clean and spacious hotel. We had a twin room with a large bathroom which was spotlessly clean. Plenty of space in the wardrobe. The hotel was close to the centre of Nottingham and had plenty of free parking. I thoroughly recommend staying here. It was ideal for us to stop over when visiting for a concert.

Hotel look nice, very big and staff was nice too. Our room was small but ok. We had a drink at the bar, the bartender was being attack by some flies… and when we sat we realised there’s a lot of small flies there, and no one (Staff) trying to do anything. The aircon not cold and was turn off on its own the middle of the night, bed was small for 2 people especially if the aircon didn’t work, and the shower dirty, mold everywhere around the bottom. We couldn’t wait to check out. I book this hotel because of the review from prev guests but honestly i wish I choose other hotel.

A Clean Modern Hotel but bedrooms are really cramped and the beds are ordinary doubles - which by todays standards is poor. Also if you want fresh air in your room then you are going to struggle as the window will only open a few cms.

Very comfortable stay for 3 nights at the Orchard Hotel. All staff members we met were very professional and friendly. The bed was comfortable and our room was quiet and well-equipped. The bathroom was spacious and there were plenty of towels. 2 areas for improvement: there was no suitable wardrobe space to hang a dress up. The water pressure was quite low in the shower.

Only criticism at all was the ‘host’ in the restaurant - arrogant and totally forgot about us for 15 minutes once we had sat. Ebony who was a waitress was fantastic and sure made up for her manager. Thank you Ebony!

I informed the hotel there would be a very late check in due to my flight not landing until 2:30am. Flight was delayed I got to the hotel around 6:30am to be told that I was actually early for my check in....later that evening. My room had been deallocated as they thought I wasn't coming, despite me informing them in advance. It took 10 minutes for that to be resolved. We were due to go to the cricket so needed to get a few hours sleep so put the do not disturb sign on the door. We were then abruptly disturbed by housekeeping around 10:20am. We were a little cross at this point. The lady on reception eventually handled our complaint satisfactorily and we were given a refund for the entire first night's stay. Pleased to say the second night was perfect and we had zero complaints with any other aspect of our stay. Great breakfast!

Lovely hotel, staff on site very good. Unfortunately charged for the already pre-paid room to card, without being told, and trying to obtain a refund I found the customer service dreadful, told the room had been cancelled (by a site it hadn’t even been booked on), then told to contact booking platform, before finally getting the refund from the hotel (who had obviously made the mistake, but at no point apologised for this or the difficulty obtaining the refund)

The actual stay went ok. Quick and easy check in, Comfortable night's sleep, refreshing shower in the morning, quick and easy check out. On arriving home, I realised I'd left my phone charger plugged into the wall socket in my hotel room. I responded to a post stay email from the hotel to advise them of this. The reply gave me a phone number to call, but instead I found an alternative email address. I got a reply advising a charger had been logged as found, but requesting type of charger to confirm. I responded with the make and colour without response. I chased this up with a further email, but still no reply. Eventually I used the phone number I'd been given and explained everything only to be told I was talking to another hotel and they'd transfer me. After repeating my story I but the person I was speaking to knew nothing. I referred to the email exchange and was told Courtney, who'd sent the email, was due at work within the hour, and would call me. This was almost 24hrs ago and no call received. I'm down a charger and I know I left it at The Orchard, £40+ to replace. Where is it? Who's got it?

Hotel looks as described. It was hard work though just trying to get water . On check in everything is done on your phone so in order to get into your room you needed to have your phone with you. It took just over an hour to get water sent to my room. So wasn’t impressed for a 4* hotel.

Was only there briefly as an overnight stop for university business so difficult to fully comment but everything totally fine. Only issue is the location pointed by Expedia, which was located by the Tennis Centre when in fact in reality is on the University main campus (was actually more convenient for my business but less so for the walk from Beeston station)

all very good.... however finding the place is painful GPS. put in west entrance uni nottingham, but do not allow it to take you thru the uni as it often tries to... all gated. Select/force a route along uni blvd. once you get to west entrance just follow signs/

good buffet breakfast with plenty of gluten free options including gluten free sausages, bread, croissants and porridge. We stayed in the Hugh Stewart House which is quite quirky early 19th century house with 4 suite rooms and its own reception, breakfast and kitchenette. Full of victorian gothic character and only 5 min utes walk from the main hotel where you can get breakfast. We ate in the hotel in the evening and the food again was excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel is in the heart of the Nottingham University campus grounds which is 350 acres of grounds and woodland to wander around and only a 15 minute tram ride from the city centre. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I will become my default place to stay when visiting Nottingham

We have stayed here previously and had been very impressed with both hotel and restaurant. This time the hotel is fine, receptionists were all fabulous and efficient. The restaurant however was not as we remembered. Breakfast was as expected. Dinner though had a condensed menu and our collective opinion was that most dishes were on the small side. They were not of the same quality as our previous visit. Staff weren’t as well trained and although all very polite and trying hard, they were running around. Bar service was slow due to number of guests but this should have been expected.

Greeted with an extremely warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff are lovely. The hotel is wonderful, modern bright and airy. Room was very comfortable and clean. The bar area was open and inviting with large sofas. Extensive choice of drinks and bar food. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with lots of food on offer including fresh honey and jams, meats and cheese, cereals, pastries, freshly baked bread and full English.

Great breakfast and the tram is just a 15 min walk away, so was way to get into the city. Free parking too. Slept very well, comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The hotel is nice and good value - breakfast lovely and easy for people with allergies to see what they could and couldn’t eat GF bread and croissants available. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed in the evening and the bar menu was very limited particularly for coeliacs which was a pity as after a long drive we just wanted a nice meal without having to venture out - I would stay here again but maybe would check that the restaurant was open beforehand

Sadly the restaurant and bar service fell badly short of satisfactory again. Waiting over an hour for food is unacceptable. The staffing is inadequate for the number of guests.

We have taken weekend breaks as a couple at the Orchard for a number of years. We do bed and breakfast. We have always loved the location and the hotel. The recent refurbishment of the foyer, bar and dining room have transformed the space creating a spacious but intimate environment. The breakfast at Bramleys is excellent and good value. In the past we would sometimes have taken breakfast elsewhere, no longer. The staff we all helpful and welcoming.

A contemporary hotel with fantastic restaurant and remodelled bar area. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our dinner was excellent. Quiet. Good parking. Very clean. We had a great room (Superior King) which worked great for chairing an online Board meeting. A total surprise to find this on a University campus. We will be back.

We were staying in Nottingham for a graduation so the hotel was perfectly located on the campus. Our room was clean, and comfortable with a large bed with lovely, white, ironed bedding. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast in the dining room. Despite being very busy, the staff were friendly and efficient.
