Not a store or restaurant nearby very outside from city ice machine not working breakfast stoped at 9 am

the room was a good size and we were allowed to check in early for a small fee .the pool area was clean but some of the table and chairs were broken. the doors to the rooms did not properly close and you had to pull them to get them to close all the way . on the outside door closet to the pool you didn't need a keycard to get in as there was no lock on it and anyone could enter from the parking lot . when asked for extra blankets and pillows for the pull out bet we were told we couldn't have any even though there were 2 adults and 3 children to that room . the property description read there was breakfast included , there wasn't any included .

Well worth the money! The hotel had everything we needed, including a pool, which was a wonderful bonus. I appreciated that we could always get assistance from the front desk whenever we needed it. All in all, a convenient and comfortable stay.

Pool big parking lot

The size of the room was amazing, i did not like that they were trying to charge me the day before my reservation and then at the time of check in. When we got in there was a dead spider on the bed and apple seeds on the couch. The room smelt really musty. There is only 1 ice machine and it did not work. Overall I probably would not stay there again.

No elevator

One of the standout features of this hotel is the included parking. It's a stress-reliever not having to worry about finding a spot or paying extra fees. The convenience factor alone is worth celebrating!

Pros: the daily rate is low. Clean bathroom. Cons: No waffle breakfast as seen in pictures. Just get a brown paper bag. Like the ones they used to give out at school. And you have to ask for it. Cleanliness pretty nasty. When walking with croc sandles I could feel the carpet stick and peel from the sole of them. No a/c in the hallways. The pool was dirty and not clean.

Hole on sheet looks like from a burn. Side of the fridge dirty some old French fries there. Don’t have anything to drink or snacks to buy. Pool is super dirty and green. Nothing like pictures online not happy at all.

The hotel was quiet, safe, and very clean. I appreciated the updated rooms and fast Wi-Fi. Housekeeping did a great job, and check-in was smooth and fast. This is a hidden gem for the price—10/10 would stay again!

This place delivered on every promise. Spotless room, plush bedding, and steady internet made my stay seamless. It’s just off the freeway, making it a breeze to get around. Highly recommend!

The place was filthy!!!

Staff was great, but the hotel Itself is really old and with roaches. Iron didn’t work and room had a horrible smell.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was filthy—blood stains on the floor and sheets, a dirty bathroom with disgusting stains in the toilet, and a horrible drainage smell. The carpet was old, dirty, and uneven, with bumps that were a tripping hazard. It was supposed to be a family trip, but we couldn’t even bear to stay an hour in the room. We packed up and moved to another hotel immediately. On top of that, the neighborhood felt unsafe and was incredibly noisy. To make matters worse, we were charged a deposit that I still haven’t been refunded. The staff member assured me I’d only be charged for one night, but I haven’t seen that refund either. This place is absolutely not recommended—dirty, unsafe, and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and avoid it at all costs.

Room was dirty

I’ve stayed in some seedy places but this was up there. Shady things going on all night long. Check in behind a screen with telephone numbers for “good times”. Holes in walls throughout. Mold everywhere. Not a vacuumed carpet. Lumpiest of beds. Hot water for tea? Forget about it. Total tear down

The pictures must be very old. The front desk is boxed in behind glass (not in a nice way). The room is dirty. Smells like smoke. Mold in the bathroom. Trash on the floor. Stained and uneven floors. There’s supposed to be grab and go breakfast and there is nothing. Extremely unsatisfied.

This property was one of the worst experiences I've had with hotels. It was dirty the bed covers were stained. Our room had a sofa bed, the mattress was so old and uncomfortable. I had to go get the sheets and pillows for it. Oh and she made me got with her all the way back to the laundy room so i could get what i needed. Also no sheets for the bed just some floral thin cover. This was a horrible stay. I am glad we were only staying 1 night.

Do NOT recommend. This was the filthiest motel I’ve ever stayed at and that’s no exaggeration. The room was smelly, there were stains on the sheets and mattress's. There’s no telling when the last time the room was vacuumed as there was wads of hair on the floor debris and I think a hearing aid. The second bed had pieces of metal sticking out from the side, very unsafe. The phone was busted up and the outlets didn’t work on the table and there was dirt inside of them and the stench was so strong that I couldn’t fall asleep. I had driven 11 hours and initially I was too tired to even bother saying anything. A few hours passed without sleep so I asked to change rooms. The staff reluctantly switched my room, but only after I proved to them what the issues were, which I had to explain that multiple times. The second room was just clean enough for me to sleep and not smell any super foul odors as I did from the other room. I also had to make a $100 refundable deposit! Ridiculous! I took videos of both rooms just in case anyone tried to charge me for the conditions of the rooms. I was told that I would be refunded based on my bank. The morning staff was very short with me and did not have any manners. The photos of this place are deceiving, and I truly believe that any positive reviews were done to save face because this place is not “excellent” by any definition. I will not be back.

AC did not work well. When you laid on the bed it felt like it was going to cave in. The refrigerator didn’t work. There were moths and roaches in the room.

This was a nice hotel experience for me. A comfortable stay was provided by the soundproof rooms. For visitors with cars, parking was provided, which made it convenient. In the Texas heat, the air conditioning kept the room cold.

Well the room we stayed in the entrance door has been kicked in previously and the jam had not been replaced just band aided so the door was very hard to close completely and the bathroom door would not close all the way

The refrigerator and microwave didn’t work even after we told staff who supposedly said the refrigerator was “off”. They turned it back on and it still didn’t work. They didn’t seem to worry about the microwave but my kids did because they wanted popcorn. The A/C wasn’t working properly either. You could hear water leaking and the noise was really ridiculously loud. The bathroom and entrance to the “suite” smelled like vomit, the sofa bed was the worst! I would not recommend staying here nor would I stay again.

I was very upset when it came to taking a shower since they had no cold water! I took a shower with extremely hot water!! Then the breakfast was a tiny bag you pick up at the front desk that contained a 2 tiny granola bars, a mini yogurt stick. You can hear all the traffic as if you were sleeping on the highway also....

Throughout the last 4 years, I have stayed in several economical and high-priced hotels. I have to admit that Travelodge by Wyndham has been the best hotel that I have stayed at for the price. I selected a suite for low price of $75 which included taxes. The walls were sound proof and it felt as if we were the only ones in the hotel that night. We had a view of downtown. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for the price. I have paid $75 for a regular room at a lower end hotel. I felt secure and with rooms inside the hotel corridors.

I found the soundproof rooms to be a major bonus. I could unwind without being disturbed by outside noise. The provided parking was also a wonderful addition, making it easier to travel around.

First things first as far as staff, there was a young girl that was helping with my checkin. She was huffing and puffing when I was requesting changes & basic customer service needs. I was also ignored for a good amount of time when standing at the front desk because she was on FaceTime with someone & didn't see or hear me when I said something to her. When I first got to my room I noticed that my door frame was ripping off like someone had previously tried to break into the hotel room I was staying in before me. I asked for a room change and the doorframe did not line up with the door in the second room that they offered me. It wouldn't even lock. I had to settle with the room with the broken door frame & felt the need to barricade myself in using the coffee table to feel a bit more secure. The windows are very thin, and I had trouble sleeping because I could hear every single car that passed by. Also, the first day that I was there, I had to request new pillowcases because there was crumbs on them, strands of hair, & stains which is really disgusting and made me question if they even wash their sheets. I would rate my overall stay maybe 1.5 stars just based off of those factors. The only really helpful thing that they did was making the bed in the morning and taking the used towels. Would not reccommend going here.

I always use this motel it’s always great service but yesterday they lady hardly was at the front I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come up check me in then another 10 when I went back to get some sheets

The cleaning staff are very friendly, attentive and help you at all times with whatever you need. But the reception staff are very discriminatory and arrogant towards guests.

It was filthy and the staff was rude. ended up leaving for another property. would not recommend this facility to anyone

Needed help late at night, and the 24/7 front desk staff was fantastic! Resolved my issue quickly with a smile.

NOTHING RECOMMENDED TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL The reception staff are very despotic and discriminatory, they have no tact at all with the guests. Cockroaches came out in the room, the room door had a hard time closing, the bathroom door was broken, it also didn't close properly and the hotel hallways smelled a little strange 🍃

The sink in the first room we were in didn’t drain they said it just drained slow but it didn’t drain it all. We switched rooms to one that was a non-smoking room, but it raked up cigarette smoke so they switched us a third time and that room was a lot nicer, but the TVs didn’t work, which Wasn’t a big deal since we had a sink that drained. The gal at the front desk on Saturday night was asleep at the desk every time I went down to either get more coffee cups or ask about when they would be fixing the drain in our room. The sign said they had breakfast, but when we went down, there was only juice and coffee.

Check in Staff was excellent.

We have stayed at this hotel before and absolutely loved it. This time around it wasn't so pleasant. There wasn't enough staff to help with the rooms. So they had to call staff from the other hotel across from ours. When we asked for something such as additional towels etc., we were told to wait on someone else. The staff or lack there of was ok. When we stayed before there was complimentary breakfast and now there's nothing. You can clearly see that the staff uses the fridge in the front for their lunch and there was no vending machines. The room was decent but if we really needed anything we would have to wait. It seems this hotel took a dip. It wasn't overly bad it just wasn't a 4 star hotel. But to want to say the staff were professional and very nice...just slow at responding.

Room absolutely stank (perhaps it was from the fridge that had obviously had a melt down at some stage in it's life, or if it was chemicals used by forensics to clean up a crime scene!) This is a poor attempt at humour but I think you get the picture. Terrible area, difficult to get to and nothing of interest close by. A car is a must to get into the tourist sites ( Alamo, Riverwalk). Cheap, very cheap.

Liked the location, it’s close to downtown. Only thing dint like is the smell while entering in . Took us little time to settle down.

The pictures online are not accurate. The room was disgusting could not walk on the carpet it was so dirty. The lobby looks completely different from the pictures. There was homeless people all around the area.

This place is worse that Motel 6. It’s full of mold. The rug is raspy, the phone didn’t work, and even through my room was switched the second room has mold. They would not concede to a refund so I had to shower at my relatives. The final night they had zero towels for my husband to shower. The hotel is in a remote area and not very safe. I felt like like I was in the movie the Hills Have Eyes. Don’t do it!

Wyndham San Antonio Downtown Northeast easy access from Hwy and convenient to access to downtown. The building, facilities are great and the great value for money.

The hotel was advertised as having breakfast however we were giving 2 granolas bar. That's not breakfast! Do not advertise what you don't offer!!!!!

We saw a cockroach on the wall. They did not have continental breakfast, only a bag with 2 granola bars.

Affordability was good. Property location is ten minutes from down town. Crab and go breakfast was pathetic. AC was not working properly. I did enjoy my stay.

You get what you pay for. It is very cheap. Mold in the bathrooms, musty smell, and no continental breakfast. I was so disappointed that there was only a bag of granola bars and yogurt. Definitely will never stay there again.

The property and room overall was clean. However we had several issues and concerns with this hotel. When we arrived the room was hot. The ac was off. It took almost 8 hours for the room to get to a comfortable temperature. We only had one key that worked. It took three times to finally get both keys operating. And the advertised continental breakfast was a joke. Two granola bars, a gogurt and an overripe orange. That is a snack not a breakfast. Would probably not stay here again.
