Fun resort with very comfortable beds. Location is convenient and this resort along with the Icona property offer loads of dining and bar options. Loved it here. Only downside, valet and shuttle can be very difficult during peak times. Recommend self park and Uber for return trips. The shuttle was perfectly fine leaving the resort though!

Painless vacation- so many options for dining and drinks at Windrift and iCONA next door- or just take the shuttle someplace. Pool/beach towels are very weak. Food was excellent but shame on the chefs for allowing those incredibly stale chips to drag down the quality of burgers and sandwiches. Just tast one once in a while- your Mom would be embarrassed! Mahi Mahi portion was minute, but clams on 1/2 were great. Entertainment was varied and consistently good for its type.

Having stayed at an Icona property before, I was looking forward to enjoying the pool and hot tub but found the hot tub was overrun by young kids whose parents were nowhere to be seen. When I mentioned this to staff, no one really wanted to take action. The other aspects of my stay were decent from the food to entertainment though we found it silly that they wanted to charge to sit in certain areas of the tiki bar that had nice furniture/fire pit and so that stayed empty. There are a lot of great places to walk to and eat in Stone Harbor.

We enjoyed our stay at the start of summer season at Windrift. Staff were super friendly and accomodating, we were able to checkin early. Loved all the amenities: EV charging, beach loungers and umbrella set up, pool area. Not overly crowded as most of the guest were from 2 wedding paries and busy with festivities

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was as expected, clean. Could use better ventilation in the bathroom, towels never dried. Overall good stay and so easy to the beach. Thought the price was high with the additional fees and then an added amenity fee once we checked in.

Rooms much smaller than they look online. Pool towels should have been replaced ages ago. Pool staff are not people friendly and disappear frequently. Avoid Brew Pub. Servers are disorganized and have too many tables to cover. On the plus side, Avalon Prime was wonderful in every way: food, service and ambiance. Very expensive, but hey, it’s the shore! The casual restaurant has fabulous pizza!!!

We had a wonderful time. The rooms are a bit small but it was clean and so close to the beach. The dining options nearby are nice. Easy shuttle to either stone harbor or Avalon. Wonderful service by everyone.

The kids in the pool were unruly, the servers were not trained well, and the original room we were given had a balcony that was not useable. The balcony overlooked the 1st floor roof that had standing dirty water with mosquitos. We were also next door to the laundry room and the workers kept slamming the door. We complained and luckily enough we were given a different room. It was inconvenient and a hassle to move all our things. Also the valet was no where to be found. We parked our own car. The first night there we had reservations in stone harbor and had to Uber there and back because our car was blocked in at the hotel. It seemed like they just did not run smoothly at this up class high priced hotel. On Tuesday the restaurants were not open in the morning so the lobby offered free coffee which was great. But for the price they should have free coffee everyday. We paid 13.00 a day for 2 coffees.

The hotel was nice. The room was nice but the bathroom was very small. Someone taller (over 5’9”) would have a very hard time both showing and using the toilet. The staff is very friendly and the shuttle service they provide is great.

We typically stay at their sister property next door but our first time at the Icona Windrift was an exceptional experience. The room & restaurants were amazing and the staff were courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

We complained and luckily enough we were given a different room. It was inconvenient and a hassle to move all our things. Also the valet was no where to be found. We parked our own car. The first night there we had reservations in stone harbor and had to Uber there and back because our car was blocked in at the hotel. It seemed like they just did not run smoothly at this up class high priced hotel. On Tuesday the restaurants were not open in the morning so the lobby offered free coffee which was great. But for the price they should have free coffee everyday. We paid 13.00 a day for 2 coffees.

Overall the resort is great. Expensive, but really nice. The one issue I have is that they have three restaurants and a tiki bar where the menu is identical. It would be nice to have some additional variety in dining. They have the Avalon Prime steakhouse which was excellent, but they should have some additional variety at the lower price points.
