What a disappointment. The hotel is undergoing renovations. They did not mention this on the booking site. Roof top bar not available. Outside seating in the middle of construction. Condition of hotel appalling. The staff were lovely and room was clean but very tired dated with no appeal.

Postel pohodlna, pokoj cisty, ale hotel ma to nejlepsi za sebou. Svetly koberec asi neni idealni na udrzbu, protoze byl flekaty a zasly. Snidane super, hodne veci na vyber. Hotel je kousicek od centra. Parkovani des - pred hotelem je namesti, kde se neplati parkovani od 19:00 do 08:00. Pred hotelem je par mist, ale nejsou vyhradne pro hotelove hosty, takze tam pres den muze zaparkovat kdokoliv, kdo zaplati. Takze se mi stalo, ze jsem si zaplatila celodenni parkovani (necelych 8 EUR), behem dne na chvili odjela a pak hodinu objizdela mesto a hledala volne misto. Za dalsi poplatek jsem nasla. Pani recepcni mi take nabidla misto v jejich garazich za dalsich 10 EUR :-D Vtipne je, ze pred hotelem parkovne vybira hotel, na zbytku namesti mesto.

War alles sehr schön. Ein besonderes Lob, hat für mich der Fitnessraum definitiv bekommen. Hier könnten sich viele Hotels ein Beispiel daran nehmen, wie ein Fitnessraum sein sollte. Alles sauber und sehr gepflegt. Kleiner Kritikpunkt, eine Beinpresse wäre noch gut. Das ist jetzt aber Meckern auf hohen Niveau.

Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have time to try the sauna or the gym, but I’m glad they were included. The price was fair and good value.

Struttura in pieno centro, camere spaziose e pulite, deposito bici al coperto, colazione abbondante e per tutti i gusti, personale gentile e disponibile. Consigliato!! Unica pecca sono i ristoranti che dopo le 20 non accettano clienti, quindi meglio prenotare!

Centralissimo, con tutti i servizi essenziali (oltre colazione a buffet, garage per auto moto e bici) e un validissimo riscaldamento invernale, camere luminose, bagno con vasca e senza bidet, garantisce ai suoi ospiti un ottimo punto di appoggio su Lienz anche per lo sci, avendo la fermata deil bus gratuito (comunale) a pochi metri. Così come a pochi passi si trovano tutti i negozi del centro e la stazione. Personale cortese e cordiale, così come gran parte della popolazione sempre disponibile anche a cercare di parlare in italiano.

The hotel is very rundown. The blinds in the room didn’t work properly. The windows were dirty. The bathroom fixtures were old and stained. The rugs were stained, worn out and not vacuumed. The only good thing to say was that the evening receptionist was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. We cannot recommend this hotel and suggest staying elsewhere. We cannot recommend staying here

Het is een oud hotel,Maarrrrr.kamers schoon en netjes.elke dag word er schoon gemaakt, en handoeken ververst..de eigenaren zijn het aan het renoveren, dus er nog werk te doen..vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel, de eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaamen...ontbijt zeer goed,schoon en veel vers...als je een bakkie koffie wil overdag, even vragen, en je krijgt het🤗...echt voor ons een fijn en goed hotel...soms moet je even door sommige dingen heen kijken, wij zijn niet veeleisend🤗 ook de airco komt goed begreep ik, maar een raampje open en met een ventilator lukt het ook wel😎...Nogmaals dank voor de gastvrijheid, .

Die Zimmer bräuchten mal wieder z.T. eine "Auffrischung", der Gang eine freudlichere, hellere Beleuchtung (vll. ist das aber auch Absicht, damit eventuelle Unzulänglichkeiten nicht so auffallen) und die Dachterrasse sollte endlich mal fertiggestellt werden (Dauerbaustelle?). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist allerdings zur vollsten Zufriedenheit was das Angebot betrifft (wenn nur alles so positiv wäre). Personal ist, wie bereits beurteilt, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Zuerst: die junge schwarzhaarige Rezeptionistin war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer: auch für 3 Sterne - einziges Plus war die Zimmergröße. Die Matrazen gehen gerade noch für Personen ohne Kreuzschmerzen. In der Nähe der Fenster zieht es stark, die sind undicht, dadurch ist es im Zimmer kalt trotz voll aufgedrehter Heizkörper. Bad: optisch stark renovierungsbedürftig, jedoch funktioniert alles mehr oder weniger Frühstück: im Grunde fehlt es an nichts, die Qualität der Speisen ist eher mittelmäßig

Das Personal war echt super freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit, die beiden Zimmer die wir hatten sind dann aber schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen (oder anders gesagt nur spärlich renoviert worden) Sorry, aber ein Duschvorhang DAS GEHT GAR NICHT. Die Lage ist spitze!!

Very well received by front desk lady. She was gracious and extremely helpful. Renovation taking place but it did not impede the stay one bit. Central to everything, highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. Centralissimo, con tutti i servizi essenziali (oltre colazione a buffet, garage per auto moto e bici) e un validissimo riscaldamento invernale, camere luminose, bagno con vasca e senza bidet, garantisce ai suoi ospiti un ottimo punto di appoggio su Lienz anche per lo sci, avendo la fermata deil bus gratuito (comunale) a pochi metri. Così come a pochi passi si trovano tutti i negozi del centro e la stazione. Personale cortese e cordiale, così come gran parte della popolazione sempre disponibile anche a cercare di parlare in italiano.

Beautiful property within the shadow of the Dolomites. Staff were absolutely delightful and friendly. Very nice breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and amber sugar crystals for my tea!! Shopping very close and all amenities covered. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Het is een oud hotel,Maarrrrr.kamers schoon en netjes.elke dag word er schoon gemaakt, en handoeken ververst..de eigenaren zijn het aan het renoveren, dus er nog werk te doen..vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel, de eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaamen...ontbijt zeer goed,schoon en veel vers...als je een bakkie koffie wil overdag, even vragen, en je krijgt het🤗...echt voor ons een fijn en goed hotel...soms moet je even door sommige dingen heen kijken, wij zijn niet veeleisend🤗 ook de airco komt goed begreep ik, maar een raampje open en met een ventilator lukt het ook wel😎...Nogmaals dank voor de gastvrijheid, .

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt zu empfehlen, bzgl. Zimmer wäre eine längere Nutzung fragwürdig (Sauberkeit). Die Zimmer bräuchten mal wieder z.T. eine "Auffrischung", der Gang eine freudlichere, hellere Beleuchtung (vll. ist das aber auch Absicht, damit eventuelle Unzulänglichkeiten nicht so auffallen) und die Dachterrasse sollte endlich mal fertiggestellt werden (Dauerbaustelle?). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist allerdings zur vollsten Zufriedenheit was das Angebot betrifft (wenn nur alles so positiv wäre). Personal ist, wie bereits beurteilt, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Struttura in pieno centro, camere spaziose e pulite, deposito bici al coperto, colazione abbondante e per tutti i gusti, personale gentile e disponibile. Consigliato!! Unica pecca sono i ristoranti che dopo le 20 non accettano clienti, quindi meglio prenotare!

Gut ausgestattetes Hotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Freundliches Personal. Grosse Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Wegen meiner Gluten- Unverträglichkeit erhielt ich jeweils unaufgefordert Gluten freies Brot. Leider schien dieses nur am ersten Tag frisch zu sein. Am dritten Tag benötigte ich dann schon viel Butter und Konfi, damits noch über den Gaumen rutschte. Aber alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.
