Room with view to Mt. Fuji is wonderful. Room is spacious and comfortable, managed to fit to large check-in luggages, 2 standard carry-ons and backpacks without problem. Staff are friendly and speak English well. Restaurant could get a little busy but offer decent food at reasonable price. Private and public onsen areas are clean and nice. Location is super convenient, parking is validated (free) and easy access to hotel. Will want to come back again.

We had an enjoyable time during our stay waking up with a great Mt Fuji view. The service is good and communication is not an issue. The location is amazing for a good unblocked view of Mt Fuji from the room/hotel. It is also walkable to the Gotemba Premium Outlet. There is an in-house public onsen and resting area. Private onsen is also available at a price (per hour). We drove during our trip, so the parking is availability and convenience is very important. The only downside we observed during our trip is the heavy traffic during the day. It might be because the route was also shared with the Premium Outlet.

The Mount Fuji view rooms are beautiful! Waking up to Mount Fuji view from the window looks like it’s an art piece in the room! Walkable distance to Gotemba Outlet with lots of shopping and dining options. Hotel is able to send luggage from Clad to Tokyo or any part of Japan. 👍 free public and paid private onsen bath for hotel guests. Highly recommend!

Hotel is great, only 2 problems. First, the shuttle bus schedule is broken, only 6 rides each day. It would be better by each appointment pointing or taxi ride discounts. Second, lag of massage staffs also makes the appointment broken because hotel have more empty bed than customer usage.

near convenient store after gotemba close and near the hotel. if guess reach hotel late there are nothing to eat. and massage only got 2 massage therapist. the hotel only have 3 washing machine and no dryer.

お部屋はちょっと狭いが、富士山が全面に見えて圧巻の眺め、そして露天風呂からも富士山がキレイに見える。アウトレットも近く、ロケーションは申し分ない。ただお部屋に入ったらなんとも表現できない嫌な匂い(強いて言えば、古い繊維の匂い？)がしていたのが残念。ホテル滞在そのものは全体的に悪くなかったが。フロントの職員の対応には大変問題があると思う。チェックインの歳、対応した女性のスタッフが「駐車券をお預かりします」と言うので、ちょっと不思議に思ったが、駐車券を無くす客が多いからかなと思いながら渡した。翌朝チェックアウト時に対応した男性スタッフに駐車券を昨夜スタッフの要請で渡したと話したが後どうすれば良いかと尋ねたところ、「渡した？スタッフにてすか？そんなことは通常あり得ませんが」と言う。なので前日のやりとりについて詳しく説明をしようとしたが、私が話し始めた途端、腰を折ってきては「いや、ちょっと、お客様、その話は分かりませんね、僕は昨夜その場にいませんでしたので」という。客の言っていることに対して完全否定の上、自分の勤めるホテルで起こったことについて「僕はその場にいなかったので知りませんよ」の態度は如何なものかと思う。無礼極まりない言動に呆れすぎてこの男性スタッフの実名確認できなかったのが悔まれてならない。大変不快な気持ちにさせられた。

The walls are dirty inside the room giving it an overall unclean look. Staff are very helpful that’s a plus. Too many ppl talking on the lobby around 3pm ish so when walked in don’t feel calm.

Booked twin room with Mt Fuji view but given a tiny double room with Fuji view and no bathtub. The room was so tight that I had to open my 28 inch hardcase luggage that opens into 2 halves in the entrance area between the sink and the shower room and toilet. The room is not well designed. Fuji view is easily available all around property so it’s not critical. Make sure you get the biggest room for your budget. Unlike another hotel, staff will not send luggage to assigned room even if you arrived early and stored luggage pending room access at 3 pm . The only good things about this hotel are free access to the wonderful onsen and proximity to Gotemba outlet.

Lots of good reasons to stay in this hotel. We can see Mt. Fuji in the lobby, hotel room and outdoor onsen. The staff are friendly and kind, many customers queued up at the lobby waiting to take photo with Mt Fuji, the staff showed up and is patient to help all of them (including us) to take photos. On the day we checked out, my wife realised she left a ring in the room, we went back to the hotel few hours later to check with front desk, after few mins they got back to us with her ring in a transparent zip bag. Their service is just so professional.

Checking só após as15:00 e checkout às 10:00!, para guardar as malas após checkout só até as 15:00 hs, e quando estávamos esperando o transfer chegar, as 15:30, fomos literalmente expulsos da recepção em meio a chuva (nunca tinha passado por esta situação em nenhum hotel do mundo),estávamos em um grupo de 8 pessoas e achei extremamente desrespeitoso com os hóspedes. Lamentável!

We chose to stay here to have plenty of time to visit the Gotemba mall and for the view of Mt Fuji. Getting to the property by public transport was easy. We caught the train to Gotemba, free shuttle to the mall and walked from there. The room was fantastic. A little small but the view made up for it. It was nice and clean and there were good laundry facilities. The staff were polite but not friendly. We arrived around 2:15 and I didn’t realize but check in was from 3pm. Normally I would expect if the room is available they would just let you in early, but it is more like a rule to them so we had to wait 45 minutes and then everyone who was waiting is all checking in at once. They don’t welcome you or anything more personal like that. Very transactional rather than customer experience driven. Overall, we were very happy and it would be 5 stars if the staff and perhaps the policies they work to were more customer focused.

Very conveniently located hotel for Gotemba Outlet Shopping purposes. Beautiful hotel & nice bedroom with Mt Fuji view. Gotemba Premium Outlet is right beside Hotel Clad. Lobby provides water (hot & cold) & green tea. Flaw: the staff are very strict on check in time, not a minute earlier allowed, exactly 3pm or after. Another thing to note: Hotel’s restaurant closes quite early & the restaurants / food court at Gotemba Premium Outlet closes by 8pm or earlier. So do make sure you get your food / dinner before the shops closed!

Hotel Clad’s staff were amazingly helpful. The public bath overlooked Mt Fuji and provided good respite for the body after a tiring day out. 3 not so great things are: 1) the one and only convenient store is too far from hotel (west side) 2) hotel restaurant closes early at 8pm 3) shuttle to Gotemba Station operates from 10am, and we could not start off early unless we take a taxi out Strongly recommend to drive so that you can go to many lovely places like Oshino Hakkai and Fujinomiya without incurring hefty taxi fare.

The hotel was so pretty! You can see Mt Fuji at any angle. Few minutes walk to the famous Gotemba Premium Outlet, there’s a big public bath for hotel guest too (FOC)! Overall it is a very very pretty hotel! The hotel is quite far from the Kawaguchiko area (at least 1 and a half hr bus ride- not express bus), hence would only recommend staying at the hotel if you’re planning to shop at the premium outlet!

We booked this hotel solely for the Mt Fuji view, so loved that we had a good view from the reception, our room, at the onsen and even while shopping at the outlets. The room was clean and comfortable, and I most appreciated the rain shower. There were limited dining options on the property though you could head to the outlets for more food choices or order in via UberEats. Parking onsite was very easy and convenient.

The environment and room design is excellent and make people feel very relaxing. The buffet dinner is reasonably priced with various choices and good quality. It’s really a great decision to stay one night in this hotel to allow sufficient time to do shopping and enjoy the tranquility of the environment and the onsen, it’s a great experience!

Great hotel to stay overnight at Gotemba. With access to the spa in the same building. Location is great and full of amenities. Only complaint is the in-house restaurant which offers buffet only and at a very high price. They used to offer great à la carte option, too bad that’s not available any more.
