We had a great time. The location was fantastic we had previously made reservations for Kahills restaurant and not knowing that they had moved into the hotel was a plus. The staff was very friendly. Only downside is that there’s only an outdoor pool and hot tub which is only usable 3 months of the year. The bed is super soft but the pillows have zero firmness I suggest to bring your own pillows.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the restaurant was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and free parking is always helpful. Property and surrounding area not as luxurious as pictures indicated and for the rate. A number of large events both nights we were there so it was pretty noisy.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is an onsite Starbucks (only open until noon) and a river view restaurant open for all meals. It is quite fancy and not super cheap but has a nice staff and good view. There is a beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub which we really enjoyed. A couple negatives though , there is NOTHING around the area of the hotel to walk to, it almost felt unsafe and sketchy….. it would have been nice if there had been other businesses along the river but there was nothing but low income housing . Also the housekeeping was lacking. Our bathroom had a dirty washcloth left in the tub, and there was a missing shampoo bottle on the wall ( dispenser type units). Also housekeeping knocked 3 times around 8:30 a.m. !!! Surely they should know which rooms are empty ?? Another odd thing was the TINY elevator !! In such a big hotel , with an attached convention center the elevator barely holds two people and if you have a luggage cart it is nearly impossible to maneuver it in there !! Very strange…… someone didn’t plan well when designing that elevator. I am very claustrophobic so i wan’t too pleased about that .

This hotel was very nice, modern/up-to-date, several amenities, comfortable bed, large tv, and a beautiful view. With it being summer, I was drawn to this hotel because of the outdoor pool. It was nice to relax by the pool and soak in the sun. The landscaping was gorgeous and there was a beautiful view of the river. The pool water felt nice. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t open due to a broken part. The staff was very accommodating. I had to be on a Zoom meeting one evening and decided to sit outside at a patio table. One of the bartenders working at the outdoor bar came over and asked if I needed an extension cord to plug in my computer. I appreciated his effort to make sure I had all I needed.

Check in was fast and the lady at the desk was sooo friendly. The room was okay. Heat was so loud we couldn’t sleep, there was still a yellow crusty washcloth in the shower from the people before us and when we woke up both me and my daughter had bug bites. absolutely won’t stay again

We always stay in the suite when we can get it but the cleaning solution they use on the floor needs to be addressed. It’s very gross and slimy and very dusty and dirty under and around the fridge in the bar area. The carpet has some stains on it but that’s the only complaint—-

I was given a 1st floor room in the front of the building, since I was a female traveling alone this made me very uncomfortable. I was told they didn't have anymore king rooms. I walked to my room, which seemed like a mile from the front desk was either not cleaned or in use. The door wasn't even locked. I walked a mile back to the front desk to let them know, she had to give me a double room but at least it wasn't on the first floor. I walked a mile back to that wing, got into an elevator to the floor I needed to figured out my room was in a whole different section of the building and I couldn't get to it from there. Back down the elevator, walk down to the next elevator. Walked into the room it looked fine, I was suppose to be able to see the river but a large tree was in the way. Went to the bathroom and it was disgusting, there was mold on the shower head, mold along the shower and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I tried to take a shower but I could never get the shower hot enough and when I put it on full hot, the water pressure was dismal, long short short, I chose this hotel because it was a Marriott, knowing Marriott standards. I am surprised they still have the Marriott name. FYI, the staff at the front desk was somewhat helpful and doing here best.

The staff is really nice and friendly! The room was not cleaned 100%. The bath was this dirty and you could see where they wiped down with a really dirty rag or water. When they came to clean during our stay they didn’t. Just pulled the covers back and folded our towels. No vacuum mean, or wiping down the counters. Not sure if they were short staffed and the snack area where you could buy, and do self check out was completely empty.

This place is great. Front desk staff was very nice. We did not need breakfast or housekeeping during our stay. The area is safe and parking spots were easily accessible near the east side door. The balcony with river view is unique and I highly recommend it, although you will hear landscapers in the morning. The 55 inch TV with Netflix was much needed. Everything was comfy and clean; if you look close enough you can find grime in corners but I’m not picky. No need to pay for the water bottles in the room, there’s a free fill station next to the ice machine. The mini fridge only cools for 2 hours at a time so make sure to check it often. The only downside is noise travels easily. You will hear every door open and close, and the occasional door slam. Other than that it’s a great stay and I will be back soon.

This was a business trip, nine day stay. Had an issue with the entry into the room on day #5, batteries needed changed on the fob door lock. Two days later was locked inside the room for 2.5 hours, hotel had to call a locksmith to try to get the door unlocked. The room air conditioning would not go below 75. Hotel moved me to a different room that day, when i returned to the room that evening, the key fobs would not work again! Maintenance had to open the door. I was just thankful not to suffer from anxiety or there wasn't any emergency that required me to need to get out quickly. Hotel did comp me one nights stay for the inconvenience.

Our room was on the 5th floor. Got off elevator to an inferno. 82 degrees in hallway. Room was 88 and couldn't get temp down. Ended up having to open window to cool room down. Sleeping was very uncomfortable. 2nd room was on the 1st floor and there were no problems with temp. in that room. Staff could have warned us that the top floor was going to be HOT!

Was a nice hotel, parking was very good especially with have a truck and trailer. I will say I paid $10-15 extra whatever it was for a river view and I got scammed I was placed right in trees so couldn’t even see the river.

Hotel reception staff don't know what they're doing. They made a mistake and withdrew $750 from my account and they tell me to wait 25 days to get that money back. I don't think I can get the money back after 25 days, but we'll see

This was a great, quiet property. We brought our two scared pups with us as we were moving across the country. The hotel was accommodating, putting us on the first floor near an exit. This wasn’t an ideal hotel for scared or reactive dogs, as there are lots of guests since there is a restaurant and conference rooms. The property is on a lot of land, however, so there was a lot of space to walk the dogs! Beds were cozy and we had plenty of space for our large moving truck. No continental breakfast, and the buffet at the restaurant was not good. It was setup like continental breakfast (mediocre/limited options). The eggs were extremely salty and the cinnamon roll was rock solid.

Very nice, clean and above expectations. Parking stretched across the entire building and it was easy to park close to our room for easy access. View of the river was very nice and the balcony was incredible. Halls and common areas were very well appointed and much cleaner and classier than expected. Well kept up inside and out. Location was wonderful, close to downtown and the highway.

Second time I’ve stayed at this property. Each time for about five nights. Very conveniently located, the food on the property is great at the steakhouse. The breakfasts are equally as good. Rooms are great, when the weather is nice, the outdoor area around the hotel is also fantastic.

No coffee. Unreal they had no free coffee in the room, or in the lobby. Also, supposed to be free breakfast, but we get there and it turns out it is Brunch on Sundays starting at 9am. Well we needed breakfast at 6:30am, which is typical for any hotel. That was extremely disappointing.

Feels like a new property but apparently was just recently extensively renovated, very well. Very nice rooms, river view, lovely place to stay if you don't need to be downtown as it's across the river from Sioux City proper. Kahill's, the only restaurant, has an outstanding kitchen; my wife's filet and my elk chop were both perfectly cooked. Service was universally slow, however, and lacking in attention to detail. Our drinks took 15 minutes to arrive in the bar beforehand, my wife was brought a ribeye instead of the filet she ordered, apologies for the order mix-up were prompt but no compensation was offered (not even a free dessert), the check was brought without a pen, and so on. I'd go back in an instant - the food and wine list were both inventive and well carried out - but I'd hope the hotel had invested some significant time in training the staff beforehand.

Great hotel! Quiet. Excellent service by staff. The inhouse restaurant was STELLAR! And having a full-on Starbucks, indoors, about 50 steps from my room was great.
