staff was great the charging area for EVs was flooded. the TV in the ADA-room was 90degree to the bed. the bathroom door was hard to open the was some waterdamage in the room's ceiling

The staff was friendly and accomodating from the time we walked in til we departed. The breakfast was delish with lots of options. The pool was clean and fun. The rooms are a decent size with handicap ones available. We saved money on pet sitter because they accepted our dog for a small fee. What impressed me the most was the friendly staff.

Everything was great! Nice clean facility including pool area. Breakfast was perfect, and I loved the pumpkin waffles, blueberry topping, and candy sprinkles. Only gripe was our rooms "hot" water was not hot... 9/10 would absolutely stay again.

Yes, the room was spotless , the staff were very concerned and friendly. Smiling faces from beginning to end of our visit 😊, My family and I were very pleased, we will visit again. That is now our hotel when we come in town to visit family ❤️.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean when we got there. However our room was never cleaned or at least the towels replaced or trash taken out during our stay. We would have to ask for towels every day and take out our own trash. The fire alarm went off at 540 am and the front office couldn't tell us if we needed to evacuate or not. The hot water did go out on us once but quickly came back on after I turned the water off for a few minutes. The nights were quiet which was also nice.

Room wasnt ready for check in for over 2 hours. Bedding was soiled with what appeared to be blood. At 2am a crowd returned and partied in the hallway couldnt sleep. Overall esthetics was pleasent, modern and updated but staff..left something to be desired.

My family and I stayed in two rooms here. I appreciated being out next to each other and the rooms were nice and clean. The only thing was we requested housekeeping and even saw them on our floor but when we returned in the evening, our rooms weren’t touched. We had to go down to the front desk to request fresh towels, etc. But they were apologetic and accommodating. Overall, a good stay at this hotel.

Not the normal Hampton Inn that I stay in. My room, remote did not work and I had to go to front desk. The light was burned out in bathroom. Shade missing on bedroom light. Hallways needed vacuum. Front desk staff at check in not friendly.

I feel that the pillows were really flat. I was on the 4th floor, which is ok, but my hot water in my shower only got to lukewarm. The mini fridge was warm and stank really bad. I was put my drinks in it. No way!

I was first assigned room 325, upon entry the room was freezing. I immediately attempted to turn off the AC unit, but no luck. I turned the thermostat up, significantly then left to eat. When I returned, the room was still an ice box and even though I changed the temperature, the unit was still blowing out freezing, cold air. I went to the front desk to request another room. The front desk staff was excellent and I was moved to room 301. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred with the AC unit, and rather than move to a third room, I figured out how to unplug the HVAC unit (which was no easy task). The hotel rooms smelled heavily of paint and construction materials, as did the hallways so I surmise that the rooms were pumping out AC to overcome the construction odors. I would like to point out that the staff at the front desk were excellent but thankfully, I had a close friend close by and slept at her house rather than sleep in the hotel room.

Book my stay thru hotel.com. got a confirmation email from the hotel its self. With my name on it. Got to the hotel they found a reservation for a person with the same last name but difderent first name. So they rebooked me. They then charged me twice and refuse to reimburse me for 2nd charge . Because they say i was a no show for the reservation because she asked me could it be under a different name and i said no. Even thought there email had my correct name that i showed her, i should have said yes it could be under a different name. So i guess i should have said someone elses reservation was mine because they had the same last name as mine. Even though the email from hampton inn had my real name on it

This Hampton Inn seemed a little off their game compared to others I have stayed in. Shampoo and conditioner in our room's shower completely out. During breakfast, cooked eggs ran out and not replaced for quite a while. Breakfast staff person seemed a bit unhappy and the early morning front desk person was working 2 hrs past the time he was supposed to be relieved and did not seem very happy either (don't blame him for this and felt bad for him). Maybe we just caught everyone on a very busy weekend. Am still a Hampton Inn fan and would rather stay here than elsewhere.

The best staff!!! Aldeno was so gracious to our brother who has some special needs. We brought him to Tappahannock for his 70th birthday. He made my brother feel so special! The check in staff was friendly and very accomadating. Two minor room issues were corrected immediately by a very friendly employee who asked if all was well any time he saw us. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Any staff member we had any interaction with was smiling & friendly. We will return again.

Woke us up 3x times to move our vehicle. After the front desk woman said we could park there. In town for business. The breakfast was over cooked and tasted like it had been out for awhile. No hand soap in the room. No king rooms clean when we checked in at 730p- said no cleaning staff again until Sunday morning. So they said they gave us a deal on the other room but it was the same price as what we had already prepaid for the other room.

We had to switch rooms during our stay. The tv wasn't working. Also, breakfast wasn't great. The sausage still looked pink in the middle, and I think it was an apple danish had black stuff on and inside of it.
