We recently stayed at the hotel and cannot be happier with our first experience at the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa. We booked the hotel by pure luck and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, premises, food, activities and all the amenities. The staff were all lovely and very accomodating to our requests ( particularly our kids needs). The hotel and rooms are well maintained and well stocked. The entertainment and daily activities are fun and varied. The buffet has a huge variety of food, from Western to Indian to Asian, great salad/sushi/oyster bar and a very well catered Kids Zone. The pool area is great for both kids and adults and there is plenty of lifesavers on duty. We will definitely go back and can recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which boasts a stunning private beach and a fantastic swimming pool equipped with thrilling slides. The service was exceptional! My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time in the playhouse, where she engaged in painting and crafting artwork, all while being assisted by the attentive staff. I also indulged in the spa services, and I can confidently say it was one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our three days there and will definitely recommend it to our friends!

Stayed for two days staycation. Great place for that, to relax. Has its own private beach and good pool. Food options are very good. Good Indian vegetarian options. Staff are courteous and service was very good. Room sea view was very good. Few small things they can improve is: small ants come in the room for a sugar bowl or glass, so we conscious washed them after consuming food or drink. The Shower gel in the bathroom lacks a good cent and foam. That can be improved. Overall, would recommend this place definitely.

Enjoyed our few days at this resort. The room was large with a great balcony overlooking the pool. A beach bag and beach slippers are provided. The pool was great. Lots of activities for those that want it and a quiet zone for adults. The beach and sea looked ok but being from the Caribbean, I passed on the sea. The food at the pool bar was delicious, main restaurant was also very good. Found the buffet too expensive for us but there was certainly a lot of choice - if you can eat that much. We just did a la carte which was great. We appreciated an adult area for breakfast and enjoyed quite a spread there and peace. There were a lot of children at the resort. Its a great resort for kids with many facilities designed for them. Self laundry facilities are provided which includes detergent free of charge.

Excellent facilities for children, and perfect location on the beach. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Would have been nice to have had another restaurant within the property as a choice other than the buffet when there was a storm, to save going outside in the rain to get to Trapizza (which served excellent food). Food choice around the pool and room service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return in he future!

For an upscale resort hotel the rooms are small and difficult to walk and maneuver inside the room. Since it was soooo hot when we were staying, the pool had insufficient umbrellas to cover the recliners at/near pool. The spa is too small with limited facilities.

Resort has an impressive pool that suits adults and children. Private beach area on Siloso Beach. Next to Siloso Fort the historic coastal fort. Restaurants onsite are excellent with a nearby Italian Restaurant as well.,Free shuttle to nearby attractions on the island.

Very crowded when I visited. Check in process needs to improve it was a two step line up long wait experience in a balmy hotel lobby. Breakfast buffet long line. Delicious food but mostly chicken for meat. Outside of that, housekeeping staff was very helpful. if you get the ocean view balcony room, awesome view. Hotel is far from everything and shuttle bus is not frequent enough late into the evening. Nice small private sandy beach that they need to frequently clean up due to some trash that washes up.

Great and helpful staff with a lovely pool. Room we stayed in was a bit dated but the balcony overlooking the harbour was lovely, but need to keep the door closers when not out there due to monkeys and bugs. Only minus is the beach. It was just not inviting for swimming, but the pool made up for it.

Not Worth the Hype I had high expectations for Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore, but unfortunately, my stay was far from enjoyable. We arranged for an airport pickup, but the driver showed up 20 minutes late. Tired of waiting, we took a taxi instead. Upon arrival, the room was just okay—not memorable, but not terrible either. The real letdown was the buffet. The food was cold, unappetizing, and service was almost non-existent. Our server never even came by to offer water. When we needed assistance from the concierge, she was on break, then on lunch, and eventually left early—completely unavailable when we needed her. On our departure day, the taxi we booked never arrived. Apparently, drivers don't like to come to the island, which made leaving even more stressful. As for the facilities, the beach was underwhelming and the pool had plastic cups floating in it—definitely not the luxury experience I was expecting. In summary, this place is a hard pass for me. It lacked hospitality, cleanliness, and basic service standards

Checking in was easy and the staff was friendly. However we saw a cockroach running around in room which was quite shocking but maybe understandable ? Cant be expecting 100% pest free i guess. Room was in classic theme but feels dated. Felt that the standard curtain would definitely be a lot easier to draw then a louver panel which you cant even adjust the angle to allow some lights in. Where a day curtain allows you to do that with privacy. Think some works can be down to the bathroom like having a heated WC and a bidet spray. Understand cost and time frame maybe an issue , but you techically dont have to tear down the whole bathroom to get a heated WC and a bidet up. Lastly , ask a waitress to help with the drinks order only to be told to order myself over at the counter with i thought was dam weird.

Very clean, spacious, and well organized room. Every hotel staff member I came across was attentive and friendly. The only thing I would comment on was the duration of our check-in. I stood in line for at least 20-25 minutes and at the counter for another 20 if not more. The system couldn’t locate my booking reference due to their recent system updates. Not a big deal but I wish I didn’t need to take almost an hour just to check in. Overall I had a great time and it felt like a true mini getaway vacay away from the city!

Stayed here twice now and can honestly say it was better in 2019. This time our room smelt like mould and it took us several days to get it rectified (they ended up moving us to another room which was great. The staff were attentive and friendly. The kids loved the pool but the hotel is ready for a bit of TLC as its getting a bit tired.

great location beside the beach, but the seaview is not really nice (you just see a lot of ships and cargos and the port is so close...) and the facilities are really too old, the bathroom door is worn out and the bathroom ventilation is way too weak...

Every year I come to Singapore I always question moving out from the city to the island for a few days ……. But once there I am reminded why I and my best friend (who meet from opposite sides of the globe) love to come to Sentosa . The staff were great but a particular shout out to Maha who was incredibly helpful when our check in was delayed and checked in with us repeatedly during our stay . Shangri La is in a beautiful secluded spot and the pool and beach are unsurpassed in Singapore . Thank you Shangri La .

Extremely good experience in Shangri-la Rasa. Even through no mono-rail nearby, hotel shuttle can pick to Vivo city. Environment and view are extremely nice also and kids friendly. Can spend whole day in hotel even not go out. I will choose this hotel again if I go sentosa

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool facilities were excellent, especially not closing until 10pm. The location close to the Shuttle buses, beach shuttle and cable car made exploring Sentosa Island very easy. The breakfast offering was excellent.

Overall, the hotel is safe, and the downtown shopping was very convenient and the transportation in and around Singapore was easy; plenty of taxis and buses to take you to your destinies. However, the dining could have maybe better dining. The food was okay but a little expensive for what you ordered. However, the buffett was really plentiful and good selections.

sentosa island was a great place to enjoy outdoor activities! the hotel's pool and private beach was great too, with not too many people. transportation was great, with free buses around the island, and a free shuttle bus to the nearest shopping centre.

Really nice resort if travelling with children. Just very expensive we found especially if choosing to have lunch/dinner where we found it to be extortionate amounts of pay. Very limited halal option although they did have a small section for halal food, we found it to be very repetetive each day. Difficult with child. They did offer to make dishes of choice which helped. Helpful staff, overall very clean and nice pool etc.

Overall it was a nice place. The restaurant although it had many options was pretty average in flavor and quite expensive if you do the buffet dining for dinner. My wife's main discouragement was after being on a 3-week holiday we needed to get some laundry done and it was extremely difficult to locate any laundry facility and what she did there was one machine that took two and a half hours per load and they staff wasn't very helpful and locating these facilities.
