Ideal Youth Hostel

No Air condition in 35 C weather. Unbearably heat, impossible to sleep. Expensive for what you get.

Bunk beds have no lights. The space between bunk beds is at around 24 inches. Nobody could sit straight. Staff is slow to check you in. They sell more than they can take care of. There is no kitchen to cook, no microwave, no dishes, no refrigerator.

Really nice staff but the property, mainly the bathrooms, are absolutely disgusting. The worst public bathrooms I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s also standard to provide towels for free which isn’t the case here.

Its in an ideal location for the centre, close to metro lincs. Theres a lot of noise at night outside on the street. I was in a room for 6 women and it was very safe, I was solo travelling and even went out with 2 of the girls i met who were from Germany! There are lockers but you need your own padlock. The only possible issue was the toilet was accessible from the corridor and the lock from the inside was falling off :( Our balcony door was broken one day and once reported it was fixed by the next morning! Very good service!

Very happy with the hostel/motel. It surpassed my expectations. They were in the middle of a name change, everything is newly renovated. It gives you the feel of a college dorm on the main floor. Couches, common areas, kitchen area. The staff is AMAZING, friendly, competent, on point with everything you need. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the area. The rooms were great. Our group took a full room with 4 beds and a private bathroom. It was spacious and had patio!! Great place to stay in a city like Barcelona. 5 stars, I would come back any time.

Wij hadden een kamer met 2 bedden met eigen badkamer geboekt, maar toen we aankwamen (was heel laat) bleek dit niet zo in de bevestiging te staan. Dus let goed op, want ik zou zweren dat ik dat had gekozen. We eindigden in een leeg en heet kamertje met een matige plafondfan, we moesten gebruik maken van gedeelde douche en toilet. Volgende ochtend mocht ik mij melden bij de receptie en de superlieve dame heeft zonder issue onze kamer omgeboekt voor de overige 3 nachten. Fantastische kamer (101), klein frans balkonnetje met uitzicht op de Ramblas. Eigen toilet/ mini douche met een harde straal. Maar precies wat ik verwacht van een hostel. Geen fan, dus sliepen met deuren open wat wel luidruchtig was in de nacht (veel dronken toeristen, mensen die glas weg kwamen gooien in de glasbak die onder ons raam stobd) maar wij zijn goede slapers en vonden het wel gezellig :-) Heel blij met de service en hoe er om is gegaan met onze boeking die mis is gelopen. En verwacht geen luxe of gouden kranen maar gewoon precies wat je nodig hebt. Topplek, zou er zo weer heen gaan.

Cuando se hizo la reservacion no se informo que no se tenia el servicio de toallas y que se tenia que pagar 4 euros por cada toalla extra, asi como tambien el aire acondicionado no sirve

The staff was very friendly. The room is pretty bare bones, but ours was updated and comfortable. Towels and blankets are an extra fee. This isn’t the place to be if you need quiet. That said, you are so close to everything, it is a really good spot!

This property is not what I expected and is not worth the money. From the photos it looks much nicer but when we got there we were surprised. Despite being in a good area for tourists, the price of the room is far too high for what you get. There is no air conditioning, do not provide towels, nothing but a bed and bin in the room, the toilets are small, comfortable and the floors always wet from the showers. There was a kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge downstairs in the common space. There’s also a balcony which was nice to sit on and enjoy the sun. Overall I disagree with the price and think they need to upgrade a bit if they want to charge so much. Would not stay again. Thank you to the staff who were friendly

Esta muy bien ubicado. Las habitaciones sencillas con lo basico , pero limpias y los colchones comodos .

La stanza era molto diversa da quella vista in foto, spazio limitato inadeguato per 4 persone con 4 letti a castello e degli armadietti, con serratura rotta, per accomodare gli zaini ma nenche un appendiabiti. La stanza era sporca piena di polvere e non è stata mai pulita nelle tre notti di soggiorno. Abbiamo dovuto cambiare una trapunta che era macchiata di sangue. Lo scarico della doccia non funzionava bene infatti dopo la prima doccia ci siamo ritrovati l'acqua sotto i letti. La notte rumorosa poiché frequentato da ragazzi molto vivaci. In generale per il prezzo pagato non vale il servizio

I have stayed in hostels all over the world, and this is by far the worst one. There are two showers for 60 people, The showers were broken half the time I was there. The bathroom facilities were disgustingly dirty. The bathrooms are mixed, male and female, and no changing room from the shower. There are no locks on most the doors and there was no soap most the time. You could find trash everywhere and no toilet paper. In the room with 10 bunkbeds, there was only one outlet to share. The Last night I was supposed to stay I came home and my key didn’t work so I went downstairs to ask what was wrong and they said that they had to move me to a different room because they booked a party of 10. So they changed my bed and my room without any notice, I only found out because my key didn’t work. I tried to get the stuff I had left on my bed but then found the cleaning staff did not know where it was, including my shower things which left me without the ability to take a shower. The new room they put me did not have any lockers. I would absolutely not stay this hostel again. I will say that the kids running it are really nice people and they do their best with what they have. For the amount of money they charged I would expect at least the basics I’m not looking for luxury, but unfortunately they missed the mark on clean facility, room management, basic hygiene, and basic facilities. I recommend to stay elsewhere.

Die Dusche ist schimmelig. Es gibt nur kaltes Wasser. Es ist Laut. Türe und Fenster schließen nicht richtig.

Hostel muito bem localizado e equipe muito simpática. Mas o quarto não foi limpo um dia sequer dos cinco dias que passei. Com oito pessoas usando o chuveiro e sem limpeza, ficou muito sujo. O toalete não tinha como trancar para usar. Creio que por conta da sujeira no chuveiro, no último dia alagou e a água escorreu para o quarto e corredor

The hostel has a different name and the dorm room didn’t look like on the picture. No curtains like on the pictures. No toilet on the same level as my room, it was out of service. No plug to charge my phone at my bed. Really basic hostel.

Leider sehen die Zimmer nicht so aus wie auf den Bildern. Nur eine steckdose im Zimmer. Wurde es nicht weiter empfehlen, man konnte eine Nacht aushalten aber mehr als 50€ würde ich dafür nicht zahlen.

Good for the price and good location but the bunk beds are too low and you cant even fully sit down when you're at the bottom of the bed. Not even have a chair to sit down coz you cant really sit properly on bed and me and my children's head always hit the top of the bed. Bunk bed is okay but at least you could have been able to sit down properly.

Muy bien situado, el staff muy atento.

Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the local area. Had to do an early check in with no notice and they were accommodating and flexible. Cleanliness and amenities are better than that of a typical hostel.

Pésima atención

I am a solo traveller woman. I booked my reservation and came at 2:30PM to drop my stuff there. I asked the guy if I could come back to get the keys at 11PM because I had to go somewhere. He said no problem they are open 24H. I came back to get the keys and go to my room and at midnight after waiting for few people ahead of me, all looking super upset, another guy, which was by the way very disinterested and laid back told me that they “accidentally” gave my bed and that now they are in a overbooking , and that they had no bed for me. Left alone at midnight without a place to sleep in the middle of Barcelona. They didn’t try to help at all, they didn’t even seem sorry. Hospitality should never look like that. Disgusting!

Séjour conforme à la description. Seul bémol, j'ai oublié/perdu mes papiers d'identité à l'hôtel. Impossible de joindre directement l'hôtel après notre départ, ne répondent pas au téléphone et absence d'adresse mail direct à l'établissement pour les contacter.

This is a very trendy hostel but still a hostel, shared co-ed bathroom and everything, but it's comfortable within walking distance from all the touristic areas and close to a metro station that will take you to and from the main train station... Great place to stay for young people!

Otelin konumu çok güzel Barcelona’nın la Rambla caddesinde çok merkezi he yere yürüme mesafesi aynı zamanda çok temiz ve çalışanlar güler yüzlüydü

Duschen umd Toiletten sind im EG und befinden sich in einem desolaten hygienischen Zustand.Auch für junge Leite eine Zummutung. Frühstück würde nicht anfeboten. Die Gäste im Hotel suspekt.Das Hotel an sich sehr hellhörig.Zimmer schlimmer als in Gefängnis. FAZIT: lieber100 € mehr in der Hand negemen und anderes Hotel buchen.

Wij hadden een privé kamer met 2 bedden en een badkamer. Simpel maar schoon. Pluspunt airco! Dat was erg prettig, hadden ons voorbereid op warme nachten maar dit was dus niet zo. Nadeel: de deur klemt heel erg waardoor het op een kier blijft staan. We moesten iedere keer de deur open duwen. Het continentaal ontbijt was lekker. Een croissant naar keuze met koffie of thee en een flesje jus d'orange. De mensen van de receptie waren erg aardig en behulpzaam.
