This was a decent property that looks to have been improved from the last time I stayed there many years ago. The main issues we had were related to maintenance of the property. Elevators...you will spend more time waiting for elevators then you ever thought possible. One was out of service with no one working on it and the other 2 aren't linked so when you finally get an elevator you stop at every floor almost everytime. Air-conditioning - we never did manage to get our AC to work on our room which ruined our sleep. Even after many calls and assurances that it would be looked at/or that it was working.

The floor in the shower was so slippery, that it was downright dangerous. The pool was closed. The wellness area was closed. The supposedly hot food for breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes) was cold.,even when we came down early.

We had a wonderful holiday, our second stay at this hotel: we love the staff, the amenities, the gym, the spa! The food, the location, the beach and everything is walking distance. Decided to grab an Uber a couple of times to see some sights and they were always a minute away or even just outside! Can’t fault this stay, we loved it. Thank you for having us.

It was a quiet and walkable area. The property is very conveniently located very close to the beach which is great. The area has garbage in the area across from the hotel and in the sidewalks/roads surrounding the hotel. Parking was difficult to find at the hotel and surrounding area. Great hotel, seems to be the best in the area. Across the street from the beach, nice pool area with a resort feel. The hotel staff were great, they had games and activities for young guests—my 10 yr old daughter had daily activities with Santiago, Fatima and Gloria—made it more enjoyable for our family. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

This hotel was selected for us because it’s right on the beach. So far we did or made a good choice. Hotel is very clean, staff friendly, aroma and ambiance was amazing. We came and celebrated my husband birthday and they even made is special with a surprise cake and champagne. Breakfast daily was a plus, lots of selection. Walking distance to everything. There is a toll to get to Lisbon and surrounding towns. This hotel was perfect for us, not crowded. Oh parking in hotel is 15ue - park on the street, plenty for less than .60eu Enjoy

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We stayed as a family of 4 in a family room with bunk beds. The room was big, clean and modern. We got the full board package which included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner came with beer, wine, soft drinks and water included. The food was great. There was something new each meal. The meals were buffet style. The hotel overall was very nice. It was always clean and very modern. The beach was beautiful. There are lots of little shops to walk around to as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful! We will be back!! We will definitely be back!

The property and the area around it is very loud. Especially during the sleeping hours. The beds are like sleeping on cots. Very uncomfortable there fine for a day or two but anything past that they’re just very uncomfortable. The lobby is very nice. However the carpeting throughout the room floors and the hallways need to be replaced. They’re dirty and stained very unappealing for a four-star plus hotel I’ve stayed in many Wyndham locations, and this one could be taken care of better.

The area/location - right across the street from the beach - was fabulous. We requested an ocean front view and it was worth it. The housekeeping staff did a bad job cleaning our room each day, not even vacuuming the rug esp. under the bed nor were the floors swept. The beds are very, very hard and the pillows too thin.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel especially the ocean front room. Couple of things were missing though. There was no coffee maker in the room and we couldn't reach front desk from the room because the phone was not working. The staff were nice and the breakfast buffet was good.

Rooftop restaurant was pricey and the food came in small portions . No hot water for 5 days of our 7 day stay. Tonnes of sports teams which made the lobby area very loud . Bar staff was nice as were the front desk staff . Great location beside the beach and a quick walk to shopping and cafes . Definitely a busy hotel so if you’re younger it’s ok to deal with . Older people might not like the noise

This is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location of Costa da Caparica, Portugal. The views from the 6th floor balcony facing the ocean exceeded my expectations! You can watch the hundreds of surfers all day long right from your balcony. And if you love the sound of the ocean, you too will very much enjoy this hotel!

TRYP er et helt ok hotell med store, behagelige rom, romslig bad og helt topp beliggenhet rett ved strand, "sentrum" og restauranter. Vi hadde alt i alt et fint opphold her, la det være sagt! Men... Vi hadde totalt fire rom. På ett av rommene var toalettet defekt - kunne ikke flushe. Det ga vi beskjed om fire ganger uten at noen tok tak i det. Laget selv en provisorisk løsning som vi levde greit med de nettene vi var her. Flere steder på hotellet var det lekkasjer og satt ut bøtter og håndklær. Generelt litt ustelt og manglende vedlikehold. Det sto i stil til personalet som ikke hadde mange smil å by på. Ved innsjekking var det lite eller ingen informasjon, ei heller i hotellbaren. Her opplevde vi å få "kjeft" fordi vi etterspurte bestillingen vår som tok lang tid. Men skal du/dere bo noen netter langs denne deilige stranden så er TRYP et bra alternativ. Kan anbefale flere av restaurantene sør for hotellet, men unngå hotellets egen restaurant i toppetasjen. God ferie!

The location of the hotel was good. The sea view was beautiful. The reception staff was wonderful. However, in the breakfast area you cannot enjoy the sea view. The staff is quite noisy in the breakfast area carrying materials or arranging tables. It would be better on the top floor. There are details in the bathroom that need to be fixed.

Best place beach and pool in the morning, Uber to the city in the afternoon, part of the night , then the hotel has a rooftops bar. Everyone from Pedro , Mrs Fernandez and the rest of the staff at the front desk, and the people from the bar Nuno, Sonia and all of the guys!!! We will be back hopefully soon!! The hotel is located within walking distance of the beach and is about 30 minutes from the airport. There are many dining options around the property. Our room was spacious and clean. The grout in the bathroom is old and needs a refresh but clean otherwise. The staff was very helpful and even facilitated a late checkout without charging us extra. We had dinner at the restaurant upstairs and the food was really good and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options so there was something for everyone. I would stay here again. .

Everything was lovely. The atmosphere, clean spacious rooms. Beautiful ocean view. Pool was well kept and clean. Our only complaint is the outdoor dining/bar area was more of a smokers lounge and we couldn’t enjoy our meal. Recommend making the eating area smoke free for all to enjoy.
