A very good hotel but would have been better value with an outdoor patio to relax or even a pool for the price. The room was very clean with very minor quirks - for example, a service form was available but no bag provided for dirty laundry. Bed and bedding were lovely. Really pleasant staff and great easy access to shopping area, port and hundreds of restaurants. Overall a good stay and I would definitely recommend.

Dejligt hotel med fin beliggenhed og god service. Morgenmaden er god, men det ville være dejligt, hvis den kunne indtages udenfor, når vejret er godt. Man mangler lidt udeareal,hvor man ikke nødvendigvis behøver at skulle bestille mad eller drikke for at sidde der.

Fantastic boutique hotel, right in the heart of the Soho/Port area of Malaga. Spotlessly clean, nice rooms, very good breakfast, and all managed and maintained by some of the most professional, helpful, and friendly staff we have ever encountered in Spain.

Foi uma experiência incrível, desde a recepção até a saída, quarto incrível, limpeza maravilhosa dos quartos, a localização do hotel é excelente, da pra fazer tudo a pé ou de trem, super perto da estação de trem, o café da manhã é muito bom, o mais incrível de tudo são os bebedouros nos corredores q vc pode encher sua garrafa a hora q quiser, fora o ambiente e a decoração do hotel q é uma história a parte, muito lindo!

We had a brilliant stay at the Icon Malabar. The staff were so friendly and the facilities were great - especially the water with the mint and orange in at Reception. As a location it was great for being close to all Malaga has to offer but just set back enough to avoid the worst of the hustle and bustle. There were also some really good dining choices nearby, with Santa Coffee also a great spot. Can highly recommend the buffet breakfast which was a top way to start the day.

The hotel is lovely, very modern and clean. The layout is a little unusual which adds to it's charm. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Loved the hotel, will definitely stay there again.

Centrally located, about six minutes away from the Malaga CA train station that is only ten minutes to the airport. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Just found it strange that housekeeping didn't clear the bathroom trash daily.

Super nettes Personal, schönes Zimmer, jeden Tag wurde geputzt und Bettwäsche&Handtücher gewechselt, generell gab es mehr als genug saubere Handtücher (fanden wir top!!) Top Lage des Hotels: Shopping, Altstadt, Strand & Hafen in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Haben es da geliebt!!

Our second visit. Still looks like it has just opened. It’s in a great location and the room, although small, makes good use of the space for those with young children. The problem is that it can be noisy. The walls are paper thin, meaning you hear the guests next door if they’re particularly noisy. And even if they’re not, you can hear every time they use the bathroom. Avoid the ground floor, it can get quite noisy outside as the area has many restaurants and bars open until late. Generally, the location is good as you’re close to the historic centre, port and beach. The staff are excellent and very friendly, even at midnight and dealing with noisy guests.

Jeg hadde lest mange gode anmeldelser så jeg hadde nok høyere forventninger til hotellet enn hva det innfridde. Vi reiste med 2 barn og booket et 4-mannsrom. Skuffelsen var veldig stor da vi fikk et rom med vindu som vendte inn i hotellets gang, det har jeg aldri opplevd tidligere. Det stod heller ikke beskrevet noe om dette i infoen om rommet. Badet var veldig lite og det var kun hånkler til 2 personer. Vi fikk flere da jeg gav beskjed, men det burde ligge klart. De ble kun byttet ut en gang, siste natt fikk vi ingen nye hånkler-skuffende. Interiøret på hotellet er veldig fint, frokosten var bra. Beliggenhet var veldig sentral og fin, og rolig på kvelden. Men neste gang velger vi et hotell med vindu som kan åpnes for å få frisk luft og hvor man kan se ut.

La habitación no tenía ventana al exterior, una ventana al interior, que te veían desde el pasillo para llegar a las otras habitaciones. Al solicitar cambio la opción era peor, una habitación que la ventana daba literalmente al suelo donde caminan las personas por fuera. Un sótano.

The hotel was located conveniently and walkable to a lot of attractions. Clean and quiet except for night time, after midnight the garbage pickup starts and you can hear the sound of that and people picking stuff from trush after midnight and all the noise from outside. So sound isolation is vey bad if you are a light sleeper, I got woken up by the outside noise multiple times at 2:00 or 3:00 am. Other than that the hotel was very clean and conveniently located.

The room was nice and clean however for a family of four it was somewhat tight with the luggages. The bathroom was a good size , we were on the first floor and we the window was next to a main Street and therefore was a little noisy sometimes in the morning and night overall was a nice stay

This was a fantastic hotel. I brought my partner to Malaga for her 36th birthday, and we loved every bit of our stay. The place was decorated nicely, the rooms were always very clean. The bed was spacious and cosy, and the shower was spacious and very easy to get into especially as I have an issue with my hip at the moment. Daniel one the hotel front desk was very lovely. His professionalism, bubbly, warm, and friendly character always put a smile on our faces. During our stay we had plentiful interesting and enriching conversations about Spain and many other things. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit Malaga.

The Malibar took a payment of over £1000 off our credit card even although we had paid Expedia prior to the holiday. It then took a long time to get the money back . They never refunded us fully as they claimed exchange rates. This cost us a further £100. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Everything went well, with exception that our room was located on the first floor next to the street and we heard drunk people screaming. I requested to be changed to another floor. The receptionist didn’t want to She was rude and unpleasant. We arrived late at night, so I think the personal at night time should receive more training how to treat the tourist. People working in the morning shift I will give them 20 of 10. The lady who took care of us at night time 0 of 20. The hotel have a great breakfast.

The staff here goes above and beyond for their guests and are always friendly and helpful. They do little touches to make your stay memorable, it was my birthday during our trip and we were greeted at breakfast with a muffin with a candle in it and a little card signed by all of the staff, so thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, and the beds very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Malaga.

They do little touches to make your stay memorable, it was my birthday during our trip and we were greeted at breakfast with a muffin with a candle in it and a little card signed by all of the staff, so thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, and the beds very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Malaga.

Clean and convenient hotel, easy access to transportation and walkable to most attractions, the only issue is noise past midnight, noise isolation is very bad because you can hear people picking things from trash also the trash removal that starts past midnight, was woken up twice by that once past 1am and once at 2:30am. Also the flashing red light in the smoke detector above the bed is very annoying. Otherwise hotel is well located.

Hotel is in a great location in the Soho area which is only a short walk from the old town and harbour. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station with direct links to the airport. Hotel staff were very pleasant and room size good clean and bright. Supermarket and restaurants close by.

Situated in the soho area of Malaga, this hotel is ideally placed for a short stroll to the old town and port, and it is a quick taxi ride or 15 minute walk to the Maria Zambrano train station. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and there was a decent selection of foods for breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend for a visit.

Excellent location in Malaga. It's a block off the main street through town and is quiet. Many of the other hotels are on main streets or the main plazas and can be a bit noisy. It's a five minute walk to the Cathedral, seven minutes to the Alcazaba, 10 minutes to the main market (a must see) and 15 minutes to the beaches. Really centrally located and many dining options nearby. Rooms are on the small size, but you're not going to be spending a lot of time in the hotel. Good WiFi. Would stay there again.

Our room was on the first (European second) floor and we could hear street noises into the night even with the window and shutter closed, but other than that, the hotel is very conveniently located and close to everything. The staff are friendly and the room is clean and very comfortable.

The hotel was located conveniently and walkable to a lot of attractions. Clean and quiet except for night time, after midnight the garbage pickup starts and you can hear the sound of that and people picking stuff from trush after midnight and all the noise from outside. So sound isolation is vey bad if you are a light sleeper, I got woken up by the outside noise multiple times at 2:00 or 3:00 am. Other than that the hotel was very clean and conveniently located.

Unfortunately I found this hotel to be lacking in value compared to what you pay. The breakfast selection was very sparse and the coffee was undrinkable. Unlike other hotels we stayed in in Spain, children are charged full price for the buffet. On the first day they give you two free waters but do not replenish. For the price I had higher expectations for the food. The room was nice and clean.

It was in a great location and a beautiful architectural building. We can a small double room that was adequate with a small balcony. We were facing a multi story car park which was a little disappointing but it was quiet peaceful area. The staff are amazing and so very helpful. I had a lovely welcome email from the hotel who booked my transfers for me. The reception staff even gave me their WhatsApp contacts details and said to ring at anytime if we needed advice. The restaurant evening menu was a little limited, but we had was lovely.

Perfect location for us! Easy walk to the cathedral and excellent food. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options. I loved the rolls with peanut butter and chocolate. The meat selection and the fruit was also great. Our room has multiple balconies. They were very tiny but allowed a wonderful cross breeze. The bathroom was very spacious by European standards I felt. The decor was very nice.

Nice location and hotel interior and exterior. The room was nice but very badly sound isolated. We felt like the people in the room next door where in our room at times. No noise from outside, just between rooms and corridor. Also the tv did not support any streaming or apps, just had lots of basic chanels. Not a big problem but still way outdated. Also the door does not lock automatically - you actually have to put the key card on the lock and lock it manually when exiting the room. Nobody informs you about this and as it in my meaning is not the common way it raises a high security issue, both when leaving the room and while in the room. A/C ok. Besides that, all good but nothing special.
