This is the best accomodation in Bendigo, in my opinion. Modern rooms/apartments in the newer building, a pool, plenty of parking and opposite Lake Weeroona. We have stayed at the Lakeside Hotel multiple times.

Great location right on the lake! New & Clean Hotel. Nice spacious room with balcony and a King bed. Undercover parking and only a few mins to anywhere you wanted to go in Bendigo.

The rooms around the pool although looking a bit tired they were clean and comfortable, they could do with a makeover but just to step outside your door to grass and a picnic table and pool was excellent. We were in a group of 12 over 5 rooms all in the same area that was great and the two kids really enjoyed their stay as well. Thanks to the quality lakeside and you staff for a awesome holiday 👍😊

Rooms are relatively new and are a comfortable stay. Ample parking to help accommodate those with trailers. They offer rooms with doors Ajoing to the one next door for friends/family which is a great idea. Pool for the kids and a laundry room with new washer/dryers. Definitely will be back, it has everything you need.

I was nicely surprised to find out how spacious the room was. I could see the lake from the room balcony. Plenty of parking spaces available. I'd recommend this hotel 👍

I had a room with king bed, and I was very happy staying at the quality lakeside bendigo. Everything was in "like new"condition. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, the aircon heated the room quickly, and the bathroom was spacious. I enjoyed the location near the lake, and the restaurant in the hotel was convenient and good. All service staff where very kind.

Stayed in room out the back, didn't realise and wasn't told at check in that freight trains run with in 100 meters of room They ran late into evening and started at 5.30 am Not a good night sleep Room also cost $200.00

We paid $280.00 for one night and the bed was absolutely horrendous!! It was so hard it was like sleeping on cement!!! I’ve never slept on such a hard bed in all my life! And the pillows were like bricks! I’ve had more comfortable pillows in hospital!!!!! For $280.00 I expect a comfortable and choice of pillows. Will never, ever stay here again it was awful!

Stayed in the old section of the hotel near the pool which was ok for the price but needs renovating and the split heating/cooling system did not work great at all. It kept turning off, need to upgrade the split system or have electric blankets during winter as it was so cold at night in the room. Apart from the room it's got a lot of parking as it was quiet on the weekend we stayed.

Great location, easy walk into town of Bendigo and tourist sites. Plenty of choice for a fixed price breakfast 56 dollars for 2 adults, all cooked and presented well . Room was very large with comfortable bed, great view of lake Weeroona and plenty of storage. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Larna who went the extra mile for us, thank you very much.

When booking on line we were shown the new rooms at the front and given average accommodation at the rear. Hannah at the front desk was fantastic & offered the better rooms with a small fee increase. Her whole approach & friendly manner was a credit to Quality Hotel Lakeside. Hannah was exceptional and needs to be congratulated. Please pass this on to her. Cheers Ashley

Staff were all efficient and friendly , nothing was any trouble. The restaurant serves delicious food, with fresh produce and has an imaginative menu. I would certainly recommend the motel ,location is a little way out of city centre , but only a short Uber trip away . The lake across the road is perfect for that morning stroll, playground for the children , and you can get a good coffee, and donut from the food carts.

Reception did not show interest and slow to respond to my presence without greeting me. The room was very old with no room light. Only bedside lights. The kitchen area had no light and no toaster. The aircon has a bearing noise. The door was very hard to secure needing a hard shove.

I booked the stay at this hotel, as Cosentino The Grand Illusionist performed his show, Decennium, at Ulumbarra Theatre. This hotel was perfect and a short distance from the venue, so that’s why I chose this hotel over others in the area.

I was away with a group of mates and the staff were magnificent to us all. Close enough to walk into the city centre (maybe two kilometres). The lake opposite is beautiful to look at and in the lakes car park vendors were selling donuts and souvlaki’s. We had the breakfast on Saturday morning in the restaurant and it was worth the $25 per person extra charge.

Nice room but bed way too soft. Restaurant was a disaster waitress had no knowledge of the drinks menu, main course arrived while we were still eating our entree and food was basic staff couldn't be bothered to bring our bill to our table we were told to go to the bar

We chose exec king bed room 2nd floor overlooking lake, can say, very good accomodation, large room, modern bathroom ect, all clean and tidy and very good price. Rooms not serviced on sundays, so if you need any extra’s go to reception and ask. Probably should be serviced on sundays which most other hotels we have stayed at do. Staff were really nice and friendly, easy going and easy to check in. Had the breakfast one morning, $25 for buffet, not a great choice for the cost and no choice if you only want continental, still $25, but that was our choice to do the breakfast thing which can be hit and miss at some places. The accommodation part was great and in a good position for us with the lake over the road to walk around. Have stayed in this area a number of times in the past and also sometimes at this hotel, we would stay here again and would recommend the hotel We were very happy with our accommodation.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was a spacious room and had everything I needed. Despite the pillows not being exactly to my preference, I had a comfortable sleep. I also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. When travelling in Bendigo again, I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
