On the River Inn

I booked a last minute reservation and was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautiful! My room was large and I had a porch that looked out into a small pond and a park that had picnic tables. There were many areas throughout the hotel to socialize, including an outdoor area with a fire pit. Large game room in the second floor. Indoor pool on the ground level. Staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

The room was large and clean (except that the grout needed redoing) and the during the refresher night housekeeping appeared to leave our room before they finished (but it was basically done). The breakfast was really good and more than enough to keep us most of the day. There is a game room which looked good for the kids (or kids at heart). There is also a library with board games and a really old, broken and completely slanted pool table. The pool and sauna look really nice, although we did not use them. The hotel offered s'mores at dusk and had coffee and water available all day. It also has access to the river but, in early May, the yard area to the river was nothing special. The restaurant had good food and the drinks were worth the price. Although, generally, we liked the hotel, I'm still on the fence if it was worth $300/night. Generally, it probably is.

I was at the inn for one night only, and I really enjoyed it. It's very clean and pleasant. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view toward the river. The fire pit under a starry night was magical. The only part of the experience that left to be desired was the breakfast. It was unremarkable.

Fantastic hotel minutes from town by car. Big comfortable rooms with balconies. Game room was very fun. Restaurant on site. Highly recommended.

A very nice property! We enjoyed the library lounge, the hot tub and sauna, as well as the grounds. This was a great experience all around. A lot went into the building and furnishings of this excellent hotel
