Days Inn by Wyndham Bastrop

They had cereal for breakfast. I woke up covered in bites. The room was not clean and smelled musty.

Quite possibly the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm on the road 26 weeks a year and in a hotel three days a week during those weeks. I stay in inexpensive places so I only review if something is really good or really bad. This is the latter. I stepped in the door of my room and was overpowered by the stench. It was awful. There was mold in the upper corners of the shower which I forgot to take pictures of. I will share a picture of the chair that was in the room. I don't know how this is even listed on Hotels.com. The place should be burned to the ground. On a scale of one to 100 the cleanliness of this place was a -4.

Told them I would be there at two, check in time. Room not ready. No shower curtain. Plug in bathroom not working. Therefore no hair dryer. Spiders in room. Gross. Breakfast at 6, nope. Finally went somewhere else to eat. Door didn't close all the way unless you slammed it, which the neighbors didn't appreciate at 12 midnight.

Clean room and friendly staff. The good stops there. The "free breakfast" was little debbie honey buns and coffee. Our room had paint scraped off the walls and a chair so worn and/or dirty that I wouldn't even go near it. The bathroom had holes in the wall where it looked like the shelf I SHOULD have been able to hang a towel on had been ripped off. The mini fridge was inside a cabinet that was barely standing. LOTS of music and noise throughout the night. Even the TV was so low to the ground that it was hard to see when you sat on the bed. But the sheets and tub/sink/toilet were clean and the floor was moped and staff was friendly.
