The Lodge was very tired and run down. There were many cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the towel, while clean, were stained. The rooms were very cold, necessitating the heater be left on over night while sleeping, no extra blanket provided.

We’re from country Victoria here in Melbourne for early AM medical appointment so it was nice to have a comfortable & clean room which had extra pillows plus an extra blanket, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The tea & coffee making facilities were handy and the motel is located in a quiet area. Off street parking is included & the free Wifi was also handy. Furthermore, the front desk customer service provided was very pleasant & prompt.

Checked in before 6.00pm place was very dirty gave staff the opportunity to improve the room still very dirty and wife refused to stay at property.still seeking a refund. Staff could not see the dirt or understand the need to be clean. SOME PEOPLE ARE IN THE WRONG INDUSTRY, very poor experienceand I hope wotif can help.

I didn’t like this property at all! The bed was broken and when I showed the photo my son took he said it must have been caused by previous occupant. If that was the case the room obviously wasn’t cleaned!. I felt quite unsafe as door lock was inadequate! I only stayed 1 night. I did get back 4 nights accommodation cost. I feel I should have received more! The room was dirty! Would like to share photos here if I could

For the price expected something nice but ended up with a smelly dirty room stained blankets and looked like a prison with beds that were found in the side of the road. Very uncomfortable and disappointing

My stay was quiet and the room was tidy, minimal but perfect for my needs as I was quite busy. I loved the shower pressure- nice and strong. Bed was comfy and the room had a good sized feel. Only thing I would want for next time is a brief map of the motel as I was sire there was a laundry there but couldn't find it. Overlall I'd stay there again

The room was clean but every thing in the room was not good. The bed was saggy the chairs were worn out (springs in the seat) no milk in the fridge on arrival. Toaster in the room but no plates or knives. The towels were very well worn only 1 bedside light. It needs a revamp with new stuff.

Some of the old reviews had made us nervous about this place, but we were pleasantly surprised. The motel room had been "refreshed" and was clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. Good budget accommodation in a great location for shops and transport, but back from the highway, so quite and secure.

Would not ever stay there again.the room an bathroom was an dump . l had my son wedding and l stayed in the room from 11pm at night until 7am and got no sleep because of the room's on both sides of me had people who were making lots of noise an l thought they might do something to my car because I couldn't park my car in front of my room someone else parked in my spot.l was up looking outside thinking that someone was outside of my room because the people were so loud

As i pulled up i was shooed out of the carpark beside reception, even before stepping out of the car...despite there being absolutely no signage about parking. She was yelling at me again as i tried to park in front of my room to drop my bag off, again no clear parking signs, lines etc. Just her rudeness. The room itself was nice but obviously not cleaned well, and there were no plates, bowls, cutlery etc in the room...just a mug and glass, despite having fridge and toaster. After beung yelled at twice uppn arrival, i was not going to ask for any! Its a shame cos the actual room was lovely!

Very friendly reception staff. The room is spacious with everything you need for a night away from home. It is very convenient close to the train station, cafes and shopping centre. The property needs some cosmetic update though.

if you want to be near beaconsfield then this is a cheap and not very nice option. the location is easy to find and close to beaconsfields shops and dining options. the rooms have been renovated but the cleaning is poor. the bed very uncomfortable.

It's old and a bit run down but budget friendly and the shower was great. There is coffee and food available right next door or you can walk to Woolworths, Aldi and more food choices.
