Was unable to stay there. The facility had no power. And had no idea when they may get power back. Had to find another motel for the North. Manager at the hotel stated that I would not be charged for that room.

Where does one even start on a review like this? Dingy, dark, crumby? The room smelled like bad decisions and regret. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was duct taped to the wall. The only positives were it was affordable and it was available. Staff was friendly enough. The little diner out front was actually quite nice

I have stayed here before, but this was tge last time. I stayed 4 days and 3 nights. My room was never serviced. The bathtub and toilet were disgustingly dirty. I bought two gallons of bleach to disinfect them both. One gallon into the tub with straight hot water filled and let sit for a couple of hours. The ice machine was not working, so there was a cooler with a few frozen bags of ice to get some. I took two showers. The water was plenty hot, and the water pressure was great. A full sized fridge, but no water supply for ice. No coffee service. Cold AC. But I have nothing else good to say. The location is convenient to Natural Bridge, but overall, I just cannot justify ever staying here again.

Toilet would not flush right, no shampoo. Noisy and non adjustable a/c. Frig make noise all the time. Door had huge gap so traffic noise was not blocked. I would suggest the owner spend a few bucks to make updates. TOTAL DUMP!!

Room was nice, no real issues other than no coffee maker. Parking lot and entrance need a lot of maintenance. Property has no amenities but the location is convenient. Its a bit pricey for what is offered but overall not too bad.

The room needs to be cleaned better. The sheets had red stains on them that seemed to be old. It looked like blood. The bathroom was missing a shower head. The microwave oven was not working. There was just one bath towel for two persons. The hand and face towels smelled like they had been used in the kitchen. They smelled really bad. The tub was very dirty, like if it had not been cleaned for months. The sides and floor of the tub were black with dirt. It was awful!, overall. I will never stay there again.

We found BEDBUGS crawling on BOTH queen beds around 230am. Notified owner he assured us they spray for bugs and there was no way we found any. Did NOT offer refund or anything. We left and will never return there. Had to get another hotel at 3am!

The rooms were disgusting. Both locks were ripped off of the door. Sheets had not been changed. Got ate up by bed bugs writhing 30 minutes and we went to let them know and leave but the worker would not come out. I know that they know the rooms are INFESTED

I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the room. There were flies flying around and bugs smashed around the room. The bathroom was filthy and not cleaned, including the entire room. The floors to the walls to vents in the heating/cooling system, and the microwave and fridge. I explained my concern to the manager at the front desk and all he said was he could refund me to stay somewhere else when I had already paid for the room. I would not have received my money back in time to find another place to stay. He would not offer a clean room and said he had no vacancy when the vacancy sign was on.

It was a late check in, tired, and wanted to rest. The room was very hot. AC would not go or even set below 80 degrees even after 20 mins or so. Also 4 stink bugs was congregated on top of the curtains. Top it off, the fire alarm was just hanging by the wire from the ceiling. I promptly turned the key back and left. Maybe I am just one off but cannot recommend

Cheap motel but everything I needed for just 1 night stay. People running the place were very helpful. Was convenient to have the diner next door. Decor all a bit dated, but everything worked and it was a good nights stay.

I'm the type of person who can accept a lot, especially when I stay at a cheaper hotel. However, there were things that I'd like to forewarn other travelers about. Pros, conveniently located to hike Natural Bridge State Park, which is why we were there. The room was clean and even barefoot on the carpet and bathroom floors was good. Bed comfortable with clean sheets. Hot shower. Pink Cadillac Cafe right next door was great. Cons. Do not stay in room 102 if you like watching TV. I can't speak of other rooms, but this was the most bizarre layout I'd ever seen. The TV was parallel to the beds. It sat on a dresser with the bed 6 inches away so the drawers could not be opened. There was space on the wall facing the beds for the dresser/TV, so I don't know why it wasn't there. The bathroom situation was toilet and shower in the tiniest space imaginable. A large person would have trouble fitting.

There was a terrible smell in this room! The bed was like a hill in the middle. Second bed had a spread on it that had a large hole. It looked like it hadbeen chewed. I ended up going outand sleeping in my car at 3 am.

The person at the desk tried to give us 2 rooms with 1 bed in each. He said the price was for rooms with one bed. We had 4 people in our party; 3 in one room and 1 in the other. I showed him the email confirmation and ended up with 2 rooms with 2 full size beds; altho, we reserved 2 rooms with 2 queen size beds in each room. I did not go back and tell him the beds were not what was reserved; we were tired. He was very informative about the diner located in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean. I doubt I would go back there tho

Was a peaceful trip in all but definitely don’t like the way the front desk tried charging my card with 4 different amounts for absolutely no reason at all considering I had payed when I checked in and was on my 2nd night of being here… when I called front desk to question him about it he acted as if I was lying or he was clueless. But in all it’s a peaceful hotel just way to expensive for a room that looked like it hadn’t been clean in a good year picture was off the wall sitting on floor against the wall. Microwave also hadn’t been cleaned for so long so I cleaned it myself with a white rag and when finshed the rag was so dark and disgusting I threw it away after showing and not a word being said to me about it.: and the microwave was still stained even after that from not being cleaned. Went without towels for almost 3 days due to the owners brother washing his clothes and never showin back up to get them until days later.. if your looking for somewhere to just have a quick nights rest and roll out in the morning this is your place but for extended stays definitely don’t pay this rate so not worth it
Was a peaceful trip in all but definitely don’t like the way the front desk tried charging my card with 4 different amounts for absolutely no reason at all considering I had payed when I checked in and was on my 2nd night of being here… when I called front desk to question him about it he acted as if I was lying or he was clueless. But in all it’s a peaceful hotel just way to expensive for a room that looked like it hadn’t been clean in a good year picture was off the wall sitting on floor against the wall. Microwave also hadn’t been cleaned for so long so I cleaned it myself with a white rag and when finshed the rag was so dark and disgusting I threw it away after showing and not a word being said to me about it.: and the microwave was still stained even after that from not being cleaned. Went without towels for almost 3 days due to the owners brother washing his clothes and never showin back up to get them until days later.. if your looking for somewhere to just have a quick nights rest and roll out in the morning this is your place but for extended stays definitely don’t pay this rate so not worth it

I have stayed here before, but this was tge last time. I stayed 4 days and 3 nights. My room was never serviced. The bathtub and toilet were disgustingly dirty. I bought two gallons of bleach to disinfect them both. One gallon into the tub with straight hot water filled and let sit for a couple of hours. The ice machine was not working, so there was a cooler with a few frozen bags of ice to get some. I took two showers. The water was plenty hot, and the water pressure was great. A full sized fridge, but no water supply for ice. No coffee service. Cold AC. But I have nothing else good to say. The location is convenient to Natural Bridge, but overall, I just cannot justify ever staying here again.

Since the owners have another property nearby it may take a few minutes to check in while they travel back and forth. I had one issue with the room and the manager was very accommodating and responded as requested.

I'm the type of person who can accept a lot, especially when I stay at a cheaper hotel. However, there were things that I'd like to forewarn other travelers about. Pros, conveniently located to hike Natural Bridge State Park, which is why we were there. The room was clean and even barefoot on the carpet and bathroom floors was good. Bed comfortable with clean sheets. Hot shower. Pink Cadillac Cafe right next door was great. Cons. Do not stay in room 102 if you like watching TV. I can't speak of other rooms, but this was the most bizarre layout I'd ever seen. The TV was parallel to the beds. It sat on a dresser with the bed 6 inches away so the drawers could not be opened. There was space on the wall facing the beds for the dresser/TV, so I don't know why it wasn't there. The bathroom situation was toilet and shower in the tiniest space imaginable. A large person would have trouble fitting.

We spent the weekend here visiting Washington and Lee University. It was clean, quiet, reasonably priced, and close by the university. We also, went to Natural Bridge and did a short hike. It was convenient having the Pink Cadillac diner right aside of the property. The food was good.

Room was dirty and very dusty. We had to wear gloves and use disinfectant wipes to clean before we could bring in our belongings. Shower/tub was dirty and floor was disgusting. Dresser and nightstand drawers were very dirty, so we couldn't use them. No coffee pot in room. On the plus side, we did have hot water and full size refrigerator.

Where does one even start on a review like this? Dingy, dark, crumby? The room smelled like bad decisions and regret. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was duct taped to the wall. The only positives were it was affordable and it was available. Staff was friendly enough. The little diner out front was actually quite nice

Room was nice, no real issues other than no coffee maker. Parking lot and entrance need a lot of maintenance. Property has no amenities but the location is convenient. Its a bit pricey for what is offered but overall not too bad.

Alright,,,, for $70 it was a good deal. Outside was clean and old. Inside was also old but there was a bed and shower. Was told at check in all tv’s don’t work. Toilet ran constantly and I fixed it. One shower towel in room. A/C worked great and full size refrigerator and microwave. Would plan better but last option yes would stay last choice.
