Older Motel but very well maintained and clean. Nice sitting area to view the Lewis River

If you are traveling with a pet, then hotel is fantastic! Room is very nice with great touches for pets. Recliner with pet protector cover, dog bowls and even a small pet bed. Definitely recommend!

Clean comfortable room (we were in one of the newly renovated rooms… not all rooms have been updated). Friendly front desk. Breakfast is your basic muffins, fruit, bagels, instant oatmeal, waffles, biscuit & gravy. Only down side would be no elevator to the second floor. So if you struggle with stairs make sure you request a ground floor.

This property was a surprising value for the $. Nice, clean, updated room, good free breakfast selections, pleasant, helpful staff, and the surprise was a pretty sitting area by the river that was so comfortable and quiet - a great place to have our morning coffee.

The motel is well maintained and the rooms are clean. The small garden area out back has a lovely view of the Lewis River.

The flowers around the property and the riverfront views from the room were beautiful!

Very close to freeway access, quite, clean, friendly staff and great view of the Lewis River where you could sit and watch the fishermen and watch the salmon jumping. Breakfast was great. Penty of parking. Just a really nice place to stay.

Nice river overlook and walking path dog friendly property here for medical appointment the ground floor “pet room” even had dog dishes and was quite large will stay here whenever needing an overnight the lovely Mexican restaurant across the street had cocktails for family member who joined us for dinner

This Inn was a pleasant surprise. It is situated on the Lewis River, with a small garden and path for viewing. It is dog friendly, even providing dog bowl and small bed. It was quiet convenient, and well maintained. Rooms were in the process of being updated, but we heard none of the work. Breakfast was simple and plentiful. The staff was kind and efficient. We feel we got more than our monies worth.

Plenty of parking

Quick overnight to see a concert in Ridgefield. Convenient location, clean & comfy room, with a comfy bed, plenty of counterspace and great water pressure. Lots of parking. I wish there was some sort of walking trail around the river, but that's not their fault. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, great service. Thank you!

Staff was nice, breakfast was ok. Waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, breads, yogurts, (old) hard boiled eggs. Room was ok. Fridge worked great, shower was nice and hot, bed was surprisingly comfortable. Recliner didn’t work very well, would often get stuck. Room wasn’t deep cleaned, behind toilet and corners of rooms were still kinda gross. I saw and killed a cockroach in my bathroom on my first night. Didn’t see another one. An ok alternative to staying at the Ilani, but be advised that your aren’t staying at a fancy motel. Food options were good nearby.

We stay here frequently and are always impressed with how clean the rooms are.

Very clean and modern

The bathroom is very dated, and it wasn't easy to turn on the shower. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean.

This was a great place to stay. The staff was nice and the room was very clean.

The room we were in smelled. The mold/water damage was merely painted over and was peeling. Tried to change rooms but since i booked through a third-party, they wouldnt do it. Water pressure amd temperature was good.

Fruit flies in our room? That was not a good experience. This inn dates back to the early 1900’s and brings some in convenience with it.

Check in was great as I was able to check in early. The room is nice and cleaned at first glance, but we saw small black ants on the floor and was not sure where it’s coming from. The conditioner was out but it was no replenished before they let people check in.

The bed was extremely firm, my body was Killin me all night, so really no sleep. Frustrating

I really fell for the pictures in their ad of the river. The reality is this hotel has 6 rooms that look out on the river, all the rest look at the parking lot. You have to keep your curtains closed the whole time or people walking by see right into your room. Not great.

Nice place! Room and lobby were very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the patio area right beside the river. One downside - the noise from the shower upstairs was really noisy. We always knew when the neighbors were showering. When we come back, we'd like to stay in one of the river view rooms. Their balconies looked great.

Rooms are spacious & clean. The bedding & towels are in good condition. The furniture is a bit outdated & the beds are very hard, not just firm. I only slept 2 hours before waking up from pain in my hips caused by the hard mattress. The staff was friendly, helpful & at the front desk whenever needed. I did not eat the breakfast, so no comments.

The rooms were new, clean and well equipped. We had a very quiet room facing the river. Highly recommend.

This is an older motel but it is spacious and clean. Good water pressure. The mattress was a bit too firm for me. Pillows are okay. Next to river. Chairs by river to just sit, read, or spend some quiet time. They do allow pets. We didn’t bring ours. Close to Casino if you plan to attend a concert like we did.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Some issues with the WiFI (slow). I had a beautiful room overlooking the river.

Upon checking in at 1 am and assigned a room. We walked down to room to find it was already occupied. Very surprised. Not sure what happened to cause that.

When I checked in I was greeted by two wonderful women at the front desk. They also gave me a dinner recommendation (the Mexican restaurant next door) The food was great. My room was spotless and comfortable. Nice selection at breakfast...had the option to make my own waffle and it was delicious!

Check in was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast items were fresh. The bed was harder than I would have liked.

Friendly service during check-in (long queue though - maybe have 2 staff on at a busy time of day) Room was spacious, but a little dated - perhaps they are gradually refurbishing as we visited a friend's room and theirs was fabulous - so bright & cheery. Included breakfast was very welcome.

Great staff… Kevin checked us in and was great … Breakfast had good options to pick from and tasted great(biscuits and gravy). Burgerville and DQ restaurant are really close and grocery outlet is just across the street… the river is close along with freeway access both north and south. Highly recommended Lewis river Inn😊

We had a late check-in, like 2 a.m., but it went pretty smooth. The bed was comfortable and fresh. The room was very clean and quiet. The check-out staff were very friendly. All in all we would stay here again in our travels if we were needing a place to stay when passing through.

Staff was warm and personable. Favorite place to stay in Woodland when I come to visit family in the area.

We got a newly remodeled suite and had my pet and service dogs with us. I always make a note when booking but it must have been overlooked. Checking in the gentlemen was wonderful and we had a very endearing conversation about the Inn. Apparently the room does not allow dogs in the room but I was unaware until the front desk called half an hour before we were to check out and demanded gruffly that we vacate the room. I apologized for the confusion and explained that I have a permanent. Ore attached to my hotels.com profile for all of my reservations and that I did not deceptively “sneak” my dogs in to the room. She seemed not very happy when I let her know that I had just got out of the shower and was getting dressed then we would leave the room. Normally I have an amazing stay at this quant hotel. It’s one of my favorites. Aside from tthe negative approach and assumption that I was up to malicious dog smuggling, it was a lovely stay. I only mention the dog experience here for 2 reasons: I wish hotels.com communicated better with agents when dog friendly is a must. It’s never fun to surprise the front desk. And 2: I wish individuals in general, took a kinder more gentle approach when issues arise. Perhaps try being direct and clear with communication and explain the concerns of staff/hotel with a solution oriented focus (like education, now when I go there I can not request the suites) I felt like I was some kind of hooligan and being scolded. #Humankindnessrevival

Older property but well maintained. Beautiful location right on the river. Only a few nearby dinner locations but very convenient to the highway.

I have been staying there overnight for several years on my trips to Oregon. It is close to I 5, but quiet. They are accepting dogs as guests. It has been very convenient and pleasant.

Nice facilities, clean and comfortable. Friendly desk personnel. Close to several restaurants and handy to I-5 freeway without being so close that you hear the traffic. Located right on the beautiful Lewis River.

Extremely convenient location. So close to I5 access. Many good and affordable restaurants in walking distance. Nice room. Comfortable chair to relax in, table and chairs, fridge, microwave. I didnt take a shower but there was plenty of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner provided in shower containers.

Easy enough from and to the freeway. Plenty of fast-food restaurants, even withing walking distance. A nice restaurant right across the street.

The people were lovely and the room was clean. Only real issue we had was transportation, if you are not driving it may not be the best area to be in. Taxi's are not available and Uber/Lyft is a bit difficult to secure.

We liked the view of the river and the balcony outside our room. We most assuredly did not like the breakfast with the stale bread, rotting fruit, and hidden yogurt.

We always enjoy our stay at Lewis River Inn! Rooms are always spotless and very comfortable. They have dog -friendly rooms with hard floors ( no carpet) with dog beds and bowls! Really thoughtful. The breakfasts are always great. There is a big waffle maker, biscuits with gravy, oatmeal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, coffee and more. Great value. Inn is close to Ilani Casino, Vancouver and Portland. When we visit the Vancouver/Portland area, we always stay at the Lewis River Inn. Some of the rooms have a balconies which overlook the river! Just beautiful. Highly recommend.

The king sized upstairs river view room was amazing and was worth the price upgrade.. The room was extremely clean and had a very. comfortable bed. The breakfast was had tasty biscuits and gravy and made to order waffles. Would i stay again? Yes!

We felt everything about the hotel was great for us: first floor for our dog, clean , quiet, great service. We didn't have to ask for new towels our 2nd day. Because they have no kitchen, most of the food was carb laden. They did have hard boiled eggs. We eat limited carbs. Otherwise, it was an excellent experience!

Great place to stay, we will definitely return. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a number of choices and was well stocked.

The front desk person was wonderful and the breakfast was a nice surprise, waffles, biscuits and gravy and all the reg cont bkfst stuff. The room was nice and quiet, beds were comfy. Parking was great. A++.
