My stay was great. If the elevator worked it would have been better. For two nights, the place was great.

I’m a 74-year-old woman—thank goodness in pretty good shape. I had to haul all my stuff, for several days, up three flights of stairs—on both check in and check out! The elevator was not working, and the only stairs are at either end of the building. I asked for first floor, but desk guy said all first floor was full—the place didn’t look that full to me. Before you book, make sure the elevator is working; particularly, if you’re a senior.

Too warm in elevator, only 1 elevator on 4 floors, dirty in elevator, all vending broken, pet fee was more than room fee, this was not listed on hotels.com, I had to sign 8 forms to check in. Unreasonable.

At 8am i pounded on the roll up door at the desk. "NO COFFEE SUPPLIES! He opened it and set out 1 tiny cup. I got a couple creamers and he closed up tight again. No excuse. Earlier when i wo,e up to desolation, I went across the street to Holiday inn, real coffee cups and ready by 7am. Had a cup. Next time i will stay there. Amd take the sickness off the ad lgbtq abominations welcome? Gross! Nasty! How about familiar welcome.

I liked the nice size laundry room. My door wouldn't lock and I wasn't given an option for another room. Moved all my belonging back to my car. After coming back on the second night I found that it had been fixed. At least it got fixed

Stay was good, until the second day we got stuck in the elevator for about 20 minutes called the front desk they had to call the fire department my husband finally physically opened the doors because my 10 yr old daughter started having a panic attack after us being in there it was so hot in there. That ruined our whole day!!!! The room was good except the kitchenette’s have no dishes in them!!! No coffee makers in the room. I won’t be returning.

Everything was good except the elevator was out the entire time I stayed there so we had to use the stairs

Very clean, close to stores and restaurants, nice to have a small kitchen with sink, stovetop, full fridge and microwave. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby 24 hours, area felt very safe and abundant parking. Only negatives were 20-30 minute drive to downtown, the Alamo and Riverwalk, housekeeping only every other week so if you are staying during the off week you must carry your trash to the dumpster and get fresh towels at the front desk, we didn't mind as the trade off was a great price.

Stayed at WoodSprings for 2 weeks. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was curtious and polite. Room was very clean. Lobby/laundry area was spotless.

I arrived with my two daughters at the hotel about 12 AM. We had just got in from the airport. We checked in. My girls and I walked into the room. I went to use the restroom and then I heard them shrieking I ran out of the restroom to see what was wrong, and there were some roaches just on top of the bed one ran off and I the other one just sat there. I tried to grab a cup because I was gonna put it over it so I can show the staff. But then around under the mattress to fast. I immediately booked a different hotel. The person that was at the front desk offered another room, and I obviously declined because my first impression of this hotel was horrible. I tried to call the next day and spoke with the office manager and she was a horrible horrid person. It was the worst I’ve ever experienced, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone else. Needless to say, I ended up staying at the La Quinta, which was a lot better and a nicer area. The manager that I spoke with when I asked for a refund told me that I couldn’t be refunded because the roach is just part of nature and that it’s natural and that it was my fault for declining to stay there in another room. So that is why they did not give me a refund. Absolutely horrible. I told the office mgr I would not sleep on any bed in any room at that hotel, because I know that roaches are on the beds and under the beds. It was a household German cockroach. Absolutely nasty DO NOT stay there. They DO NOT care for their guests.

Clean and comfortable rooms, if you need anything staff is there to help. If you want to clean on your own, they supply the necessities. If you feel the need to upgrade, staff is willing to help. Jeremy and Dylan have done a wonderful job in making sure my family has felt welcomed. Defiantly recommend wood springs medical to those looking for a weekend getaway or even a longer stay.

The room that I stayed in was infested with roaches . When I went to the front desk to ask to switch rooms the person said the best they could do was spray the room with repellent and it didn’t work because there were still roaches popping up everywhere . Absolutely disgusting had to book somewhere else for the last night because I couldn’t stand it anymore.

The hotel is in great condition, the rooms very clean, it always smelled nice. Great value!

This property is well maintained and in a good location. Everything was in working condition and the room was a expected. The one issue was the presence of small and baby roaches throughout different areas of the room. I was only there for 2 nights but noticed several of them on both days. Hopefully pest control can alleviate that.

It was a great price but you pay for it in lack of amenities. You had to get your clean towels and bedding become they only clean the room every other week. They have a kitchenette but you have to buy the pots and pans, dishes and silverware.

The pillows, mattress and especially the beds are so terrible the property is clean

Not the worst- not the best. Check in & staff were good. Elevator broken- stairs only No toiletries, towels Bed was a platform bed & uncomfortable. Paper thin walls. Checkout was interesting- had a screen down at 10 am- had to use a phone to get employee. Probably won’t stay again.

Very bare bones extended stay hotel. Almost no amenities in kitchen - better bring your own cutlery, glasses, etc. New and clean, well-located. If you are looking for a budget option this isn’t bad. Just don’t expect a lot of bells and whistles.

The property is pretty clean and is conveniently located close to a lot of good dining establishments. The premium internet sucks! Not very good for business applications. Definitely not worth paying the extra money for

This is a newly built property. The doors are key activated so the security is pretty good. It is very basic in decor. I liked that there was a kitchen but it was not equipped with any utensils or cookware. We didn't cook so that was fine for us. We kept things in the refrigerator and there was a microwave to heat up left overs. We had a room for 4 but they only supplied 2 bath towels so we had to ask for more towels. Apparently, that is a corporate standard. Free coffee in the lobby was nice. Overall, it was a safe & economical choice that was in close proximity to the activities we had planned.

This visit went south over the property’s internet access. You need to enable the internet through a web portal. Once in the web portal the dropdown interface acts ambiguously between the FREE and the PAID option such that I went to the front desk to have them do this the first time (it times out after 7 days). After my week expired unbeknownst to me I did it wrong the next time and a $6.99 charge showed up post-checkout. I called the property to dispute the charge. The front desk person told me “everyone one complains about this” and refused to reverse the charge and hung up on me. Very inhospitable. So it was this last touch that made an otherwise okay stay go bad. Lastly, the soundproofing between rooms is poor.

Did not like the sounds throughout the walls or the floor you could literally hear everything. Other then that seems pretty decent hotel.

Wi-Fi sucks, but a great place!!

It's an extended stay place, so if you go in knowing that, it'll be an amazing stay. It's clean here, in a safe location close to stores and restaurants. The staff is friendly and welcoming from the front desk to housekeeping. The full kitchen is also great to cook in, just remember you need to bring your own cookware. Delivery services have been easy, as well. I've had no complaints and would recommend anyone visiting SA for business or personal travel to stay here.

We checked in little after4pm which is checking start time, but no one at the front desk and there is no bell or phone to call. I had to look up hotel phone # to get someone. Room was clean. But room has absolutely NO amenities from sopa, shampoo, conditioner, no dispenser, no hair dryer, no dish or cups, of course no condiments, in cabinet though it is equipped with mini kitchen like electric stove. We asked about basic amenities like shampoo and conditioner, and we were told they don't have them in stock and don't know when it will be in so go get from Walmart. Only got a soap. I never been to a hotel like this place that has absolutely nothing. Also there is no trash can in bathroom. I will say stuffs are nice and friendly. I think it's more management issue if they cannot track basic items in stock. We will not return.

Someone was checked into my room instead of me, so I was supposed to be given a complimentary room, but I already prepaid for my stay. I was given a much smaller much worse room. I was never given more clean towels, the cable didn't work properly, my bed was basically similar to a pull out mattress. It was extremely unstable and uncomfortable. Very bad stay, I emailed the property but received no response. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is clean and new but checking in is terrible there was no one in the front and you have to go to the door to call them to the front when you can hear them talking in the back on their phone eating just not checking if anyone is coming in and it takes time for that also the front desk wasn't organized also tried to charge me twice it should say i already paid through the website. Taking personal calls while checking someone in and forgetting to give me my items that i had to come back and remind the front desk person that i needed my stuff back is a little inconvenient.

My two week stay here was perfect. I can’t remember his name, but the evening front desk employee was helpful, professional and always eager to help me. His service was impeccable!

We had an amazing experience at WoodSpring Suites. We reserved 2 rooms for our family vacation of 8. They went above and beyond to get us rooms very close together. The staff were very courteous, helpful and sociable. They went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed. We planned on staying for 7 days but wanted to stay two extra days at the last minute and they were very helpful and it was quick and easy to extend our stay. I especially loved how clean they kept the building. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. This will be our GO TO place when we come back to San Antonio!

Horrible experience loud noises for hours and then couldn’t find any worker , he was working out in the dark instead while we walked around at 3am till about 6 am the noise stopped horrible

During my stay, all the staff where very friendly and helpful. The location was great and easy to get to. No carpet, wood floors! But most of all, the price was GREAT!!! Short or long term stays, book it. Shopping areas all within a mile of the porperty.

As I was unloading my belongings to check in this hotel, one of their regular residents told me to be careful with my truck because there are a lot of auto theft taking place there. My truck was broken into within days of my stay and when I reported the missing security camera that should have caught the criminal on video was missing entirely with just two wires sticking out of the wall. Cindy Hernandez, the area manager, retaliated against me when I reported this to her parent company and kicked me out of my hotel room despite having paid for an additional 10 days. Mrs. Hernandez also informed me that I would also not be receiving a refund either because she doesn’t care that I am a disabled registered nurse.

Nothing glamorous, but clean and pretty comfy for a quick and cheap stay. Good location to Six Flags and restaurants and shopping.

Overall the hotel is great very clean and I just didn’t like when I was checking in and checking out. There’s never people there. You actually have to wait like 10 or 15 minutes. Even if you’re calling the front lobby they don’t appear after a while and throwing away your trash outside. On another note, thry need security. My husband’s truck got broken into and another customer for 3 consecutive days. It is not fair that you are getting some rest while you are getting robbed outside. Security and safe?? Nope. It is such a shame that the hotel is clean and nice but to park your car there. I wouldn’t recommend. Would I stay there again probably not :(

I enjoyed this hotel there are lots of restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel, decent area, people above me were a little loud but the staff handled it, security was great i felt really safe there and have stayed multiple times in this hotel

Super clean and quiet. Only thing was we had four people in the room but only two sets of towels. I was able to get a third set but tjey didn't have any otjers available until later in the day. Otherwise it was great and also had free hot drinks.

Well worth the price. Better than places I've been for twice the price. Helpful employees. No continental breakfast so just Use the money you save and get breakfast lunch and dinner. The kitchen was a pleasant surprise. Would use again.

We had a reservation at another place, that place was broken down, looked dirty, it was late, we were tired. Expidia was able to talk to you guys and we got a room for the nite. Excellent customer service, place has a small kitche with full fridge, very good coffee. Too bad there aren't any more place around the country, California, where were from. Would definitely go back. Thank you!!
