Chambre d'hôte La Bacotterie

Due to my lack of understanding of the property, I did not stay overnight. We had a very long and hot day touring Paris and were looking forward to a restful night in a hotel. I did not realize this is a bed and breakfast in a home. I also learned the hard way that air conditioning is not an automatic amenity in France. The owners were very kind and understanding. They have a nice home tucked away in a small French town. I am sure in the right situation this would have been a wonderful stay; it just wasn't what we needed or expected as "spoiled" American tourists.

Last leg of our five week adventure in France. The b n b felt like we were living like locals. Very nice neighborhood. Our room was very large. Ensuite bathroom. It was great to have some elbow room after some of the small and quaint places we’ve stayed. Pretty garden view. Quiet. Breakfast was served in our room every morning. Fresh fruit, a wee bit of compte (I think), prosciutto, baguette, croissant, yogurt, coffee (and/or tea), and gluten free bread for my hubby. Thank you, Patricia. You made my husband’s stay special.

Quiet, very comfortable and clean. Friendly owner and very pretty garden. Enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Visiting Vaux-le-Vicomte - very good location!

Very clean and quiet. Feel like home. Beautiful and spacious. Only issue is restaurants nearby some not open on Tuesdays. So sad. Do not drive big car. It is street parking.
